Dark and disturbing, just as it should be for the subject matter.
It's interesting, one of my favorite groups Skinny Puppy had to bring a lawsuit against the US government because their music was used as a form of torture in the Guantanamo facility. Someone who was confined their informed the group. This is a good example of how the government thinks that they own everything and everyone. If anyone is going to use my music for torture, then you can be sure it will be me!
This surely suggests industrial to me, unless by "hardcore" you were meaning more in the punk/metal aspect. Hardcore dance would be something very different. Not that it matters. It is "hardcore" in the free use of the word!
Thanks for sharing this one, and trying to make a difference in the world!
Hey Pat hows it going thanks for the comment i dont rightly remember laying this out but i remember feeling the aggression when i was wailing on that guitar. Music is one of the the great mediums for the portrayal of emotional texture. I always enjoy listening to your work. Best regards Robbie.
My take on this is that you captured more of a textural aspect of music that effects the listener in much more different ways, than say, a lullaby or pop music would. That can make the listener turn on defense mechanisms as a reaction to the grinding, pounding and seemingly attacking feel of the sounds you created here. In some ways similar reactions a captive person would experience to torture. hmmmmm
I'd say you accomplished something here, well done!
Thanks for your insightful comment when i listened to this again i can feel the aggression there, i don't think i could do a one hit on the guitar like that again but it fitted the bill at the time.

Description : Got a new track here, which seems to fit with the hardcore aesthetic, what with the tempo, hard kicks, and driving bass. We'll see what others' will hear though. This song has been about 11 months in the making, and finally came together with the addition of some psycholotrystic field recordings. No evil spirits were harmed during the recording of this song. Features my circuit bent Tyco Hotkeyz, a track of modular synth, and some helpful controllerism. This is meant to be on dirty lofi side for the most part, so don't come complaining to me...! Thanks for listening!
Description : The drum beat is transposed beat boxing. Not sue where to take it next but I would say there is plenty of scope for twists and turns. I'm saying its some kind of hardcore but not so sure of that the bpm is 170
Description : A remix/edit of one of my first tracks I made. I've been listening to Russian Hardbass a lot lately, so I wanted to try to remake the originally Hard Techno/Hardstyle track into a typical Russian-style Hardbass.
Description : This track is about 4 years old..I finally decided to blow the dust off of it and get some killer vocals on it. This is sung in the style of Howard Jones from Killswitch Engage, as they were my biggest influence in music..Hope you enjoy!!
Description : I leave my last frechncore song here, it's a song that wouldn't exist if it weren't for this fantastic looperman community, I hope you enjoy it at your parties.

This is very cool. An excerpt from this would be perfect for the painting I have in a contest on FB right now. Would you like to enter it? Would be honored. Regards - Dan
