Description : This song was inspired by a road near to where I live. I have a picture in my gallery of rainbow road, Planet left a comment about it saying it would make a good song, so I thought I would give it a go. I would like to dedicate this song to people who hold faith in their hearts and are prepared to stand up for what they believe in. All instruments and vocals by Slap, drums Sonic foundry.
All comments welcome...
Cheers Slap...

I love these lyrics, first and foremost. I can actually really relate to them... I'm on that road right now.
You have a radio-ready sound on all your tracks.. it makes me realize how much I need to learn about mixing lol. Again, I love your voice. I remember when I first joined I think you only had one track that had you singing on it at the time. Glad to hear you using it more :)
This was a really beautiful song, especially for being sparked by a comment about a picture ;)
Hi Lisa, wow girl! You really know how to make a guy feel special. Firstly thank you for taking the time to listen, and review mutiple tracks, I feel somewhat honoured by the time this must have taken you! Thank you! I have not been around much of late, mainly because of work, but I feel a real sense of loss over loosing bilbozo from this site. One of the highlights recently was your return, and I'm pleased to hear things are working out for you now. I was looking through the pictures section the other day, and came across some of your beautiful images (non of this standing looking like a gangsta rubbish), but you have a real eye for a good picture, and it was a joy to look at your uploads.
Holding your chin up can be a pretty hard thing to do, when the world keeps making your jaw drop. You have helped me stand firm and still call this place home. Kind words of truth and support from one so far, but yet only a message away...Thank you
Have now been on this site long- but found this number and man this is a great tune and professionally done!! I listened to the lyrics closely and they are awesome nice to see some good lyrics. Instead of folowing the Yellow Brick Road- I am hitting the Rainbow Road-Great Singing!! Filaofsoul
i can't really tell you how much i enjoyed this piece!
i didn't think it could get much better until i heard the sax solo (sends chills down my spine)...
mate, you are one special producer. and im truly glad to be part of a community with such talent!
This is certainly a gem in your lead vocal selections - like Bryan Adams meets Billy Joel. And the tune is a great arrangement and piece of songwriting. Definitely some representative soul in this number! Keep it up! Any chance of this being available for download? I'd enjoy listening to it with my car's audio rig too.
WOW...rAINBOW ROAD...MUST BE A COLORFULL ROAD..I LIKE YOUR GROOVE AND YOUR SOUND.....i USED TO PLAY THE SAX...NOW I PLAY EVERYOTHER INSTRUMENT BUT.....KEEP THEM COMIN....PEACE
love this track one of my favorites for sure would you by any chance mind laying down something for one of my beats id really really appreciate it i just love your work thanks
this is the first track that i have heard where the lyrics have really stuck out...i knew you were good at sax but wow...fantastic voice man...just a wonderful track all around
rei made a comment about your track having moments where you close your eyes sand it's just the song. that hit it on the head for me. i like the sparseness in this track, it lets you showcase your voice, yet another instrument you seem to be apt with.
I really enjoyed the sax solos, especially the one you ended the song with. Thanks for sharing this, man. Just great.
Their so much more than an atmospheric phenomenon..since year dot we've been uplifted by rainbows.....I'd like to take up what Chris mentioned...what a great singing voice you've got..it's no surprise I suppose having the control of your diaphragm that you do...When someone sings they articulate the human element like no other form of expression within music..it's this very elemental quality that shines through here...some tunes actually do radiate, bringing happiness and light to the listener ..this is one of those little pieces of magic...superb work on all fronts...cheers mate Dave :)
it's really time to review one of your songs again!!!
and like always it's a pure pleasure to listen to your music, you always give me moments to close my eyes and forget everything around ... I think this is the best that can be said about the quality of someone's music!!!
and instead of typing more letters now I hit the play-button again ...
peace, rei

Description : Did you ever have those days when you are totally distracted? You find yourself switching from one thing to another due to overwhelm - say hallo to 'ADHD' But this time we could focus on the song and used some loops from Hysteria and Bigishi. And a big thanks to James who did help us with the guitars. (He was in the mood for blues :-) We are on Bandcamp as kayos2 Tell us what you think of this track....
Description : so having been inspired by our girl Rita singing the blues I threw myself in and had a go, i went at it with full gusto, i think soul, blues are hard to hit because the singers always have fantastic voices lush females and deep soulfull males with great baratone vocals, i obviously don't have the greatest voice, but you gotta have belief in yourself first, yes i put emotion into my lyric delivery so this was a stretch, its less Teddy Swimms more dimestop sings :)) i'm sure you'll let me know
Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!
Description : Hopefully it is the first song of an imaginary album that I will call "Diverse waves". I believe the title of this "album" will keep me focused on a style that incorporates and blends various musical elements for the pleasure of our ears.
I really hope you will like the results of this attempt.
Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.
Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.
Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.
Description : Miguel Flores, vocals. Jean-Maurice Humbert-Droz, lead guitars. Laurent Schwaar, guitars. Roland Sumi, bass. Richard Pizzorno, Hammond. Laurent Wirz Drums. Loop from josephfunk (rhodes). Composed by Miguel Flores.
Description : KesstA or "What's ur prob" Blues is an excuse for having fun recording several tracks of guitar and trying to make them sound alright all together. If it sounds a bit messy or jammy, well it's part of it.
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.
