Description : I've been rewatching a lot of John Carpenter movies and listening to the soundtracks. I've also been bingeing on 80's gothic synth pop. So I thought I'd give the genre a go. I had fun making it and added lots of different references. Please enjoy and let me know what you think, comments are always greatly appreciated :D
Update: Levels and EQ on Vox and piano have been tweaked. 1 bar has been removed from the extro.

That salt circle will definitely keep the slugs away ;) Funny how we can hear other artists in one another's work. I did one song that sounded just like the rolling stones but I'm not a big stones fan hahaha It's your mellow vocal delivery style and gothic sounding synths. More please :D Time to watch the Thing.

Yeah, I live near where The Rolling Stones formed. People here get upset if you don't think they're the best thing ever. So I keep my opinions to myself :P
I will definitely experiment with this sound in the future. Hope you enjoyed the movie.

Ok you got me at gothic 3;) Your style reminds me so much of Edwyn Collins. See all the great that comes from experimenting? I'm going to have to watch some John Carpenter movies when I get home tonight. Been listening to a ton of gothic metal instead of watching movies lately.

I only know one song by Edwyn Collins and that's "Never met A Girl like You", so he must be influencing my style through some kind of musical voodoo. Remind me to put a circle of salt around my mic stand.
And you should definitely watch some John Carpenter tonight. In my opinion, The Thing is the best horror movie ever! Have fun :)
