It is so startling to hear an oboe and bells after electronica and hip hip. I played the oboe at one time. Sparkling jewel here. Sweet sounds. Best regards - Dan

Modnex replied 18th Jan 2017 - 9 years ago

Thanks Dan! I agree hearing an oboe and bells together is magical. I love woodwind instruments. The sounds can take you places you never imagined, which is why I'm becoming accustomed to using them.

Thanks for the kind words,
take care!

This track is awesome. It is very catchy. It sounds like something from Disney. Great job...

I once saw singing fairies. They were called The new kids on the block and they flew all around the stage proving fairies really do fly ;) Very cool, definitely has a fairy vibe to it. Love celtic themed music and the legends revolving around it. Here's a fairy tune for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oskYL3VlIq4 I love Wayne's idea of getting a school choir involved! I work at an elementary school now as a custodian and want to donate some of my homemade cigarbox guitars to them for education.

Modnex replied 18th Jan 2017 - 9 years ago

Thanks Phatkatz! I love Celtic music too. It's so amazing to listen to and definitely does a great job at taking you back in time through music. That's a pretty great piece of music you linked. I can visualize a 1700's camp site with women and children dancing around a camp fire.

Donating musical instruments you created yourself for education purposes would be pretty great. I think the children would most definitely love it.

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Pretty creative track, simple, interesting and fun as it put a smile on my face! Try to get the local school chorus to do some real live vocals, bet it would sound more awesome! I could definitely hear this in a christmas or children's movie.

Wayne

Modnex replied 17th Jan 2017 - 9 years ago

Thanks Wayne! That's actually a great idea! Having a real choir on this track or any cinematic track in general would probably boost the track's emotional factor extremely. I'll definitely see if how I could go about doing that.

Thanks for stopping in!

Kid friendly, story time before bed type of vibe. Puts me in a garden around talking rabbits and oversized carrots. Peace & Blessings.

Thanks Benton! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The visualization you mentioned does fit great with this track.

Suitably light and innocent in tone. I can see this working in a fantasy animation or game. Nice work.

hey hey,
first of all, hats off cuz I didnt see any more cinematic tracks here since last time I was here,
for a cinematic, it should be a part of something, you said, animation or something? right? its good for a part of an animation, it brought me to the world of dolls more than fairies xD, just kidding, but the way you made it is kinda more usefull for that reason, you used a bell that sounds like kid's music box, and thats cool, also, I will give you one of my key secrets (:|) to help you complete that music, and that is to use female choirs, yes yes yes, they need female choirs to imagine fairies, its all about creating space
Kindest regards
J_*

Modnex replied 15th Jan 2017 - 9 years ago

Thanks LittleJay! Those are some good tips. The use of female choirs works great for cinematic songs. I placed two choirs in this track, but used them lightly. Maybe I'll add to it later.

Thanks for the kind words and for stopping by, much appreciated!
