Oh yes, it's absolutely cinematic and evokes images of vast landscapes. This reminds me of my incredible travels with Jynxz...sigh. Great sound, Chris. I'm still working on this one track, it's definitely coming...
All the best,

That was very enjoyable, thank you, I loves drones and ambient sounds like that.
Cyberflares 6th Apr 2024 06:51 - 3 months ago
very cool track man i can see why you like the outside work you should do more of this stuff very very cool.
Pnnywze 6th Apr 2024 00:30 - 3 months ago
This is in C# major btw. I don't use Majors as my baseline key very often, but it's easy to bring the pitch up or down to hit a minor
Zootman replied 6th Apr 2024 - 3 months ago
that's funny, i could have sworn it would be a minor key!!
Pnnywze 6th Apr 2024 00:28 - 3 months ago
Dude yes, anytime u wanna send me stems, id be happy to take a look at anything u have.
Zootman replied 6th Apr 2024 - 3 months ago
sure, might be a day or two, heading away shortly on a short nature cruise with the family on Doubtful Sound.
Pnnywze 5th Apr 2024 23:23 - 3 months ago
No worries man, I can do it myself, just wanted to try & skip a step. I'm downloading it right now, I'll let u kno when I come up with something man.
Zootman replied 6th Apr 2024 - 3 months ago
Wicked bro. Look forward to hearing anything you come up with. Might send you a couple of stems in next day or two of something I'm working on at the moment. Might be of some use for something...
Pnnywze 5th Apr 2024 21:47 - 3 months ago
Idk why this just now popped up for me to hear, but I'm glad I did, I really like this one man. I could easily use this for something awesome. Do u remember what key its in, offhand? I could find that out myself if need be, tho. Lmk. -Aaron
Zootman replied 5th Apr 2024 - 3 months ago
Hey Aaron, glad to hear it! Don't know about the key sorry. It's mostly percussion except the choir voices which were spitfire labs free thing. And I can't remember what I played lol. Weston63 did a nice remix of it you might want to check out. You could follow his profile on comments below. Cheers Chris
TRE24 5th Apr 2024 17:27 - 3 months ago
Nice track man. I've been working on a cinematic track myself as of late. I enjoyed this and love the FX work.
Zootman replied 6th Apr 2024 - 3 months ago
Thanks mate. It's the only thing I've done in this genre, tho having said that, choosing the genre always come last lol. Cheers for the listen and comment.

Great track mate.
Well done.

That's amazing man. Very evocative!
Zootman replied 7th Mar 2023 - 1 year ago
Glad you enjoyed it. I recently spent a month down on one of NZ's subantarctic islands which was a real privilege but I think the isolation and drama of that landscape and human history got to me and came out subconsciously with this one.
dimestop 5th Mar 2023 13:20 - 1 year ago
wow Chris what a beautiful track, its suspenseful, threatening almost like something is lurking in the background that makes your heart jump, very cinematic really good work mate, the sound quality is fantastic, great track

Thanks Paul, you're a treasure mate.
LJmbbremen 5th Mar 2023 11:30 - 1 year ago
Hey Chris,
it sounds like a group is fighting their way through a jungle. Possible dangers lurk everywhere. People keep turning around to see what that noise was they have heard. The whole thing is like a short cutscene. I wish you made it a bit longer to hear what is comming now. Are they standing infront of a big gateway?
I love cinematics and you have cought me with that one!
Zootman replied 7th Mar 2023 - 1 year ago
I know you like this genre and you're very good at it! Love what you added to this, thanks a lot.

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...

Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.
