Robbie, nothing short of spectacular work here. I absolutely love folk music - used to attend the annual old time fiddlers festival in Shoshone, Wyoming and I would hear music similar to this. Great stuff, great lyrics, great guitar work, great song. Great job!!!!! I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for posting. I hope all is well.
Hey Bear you made me smile i had almost forgotten about this track i stay in Austria now being a far travelled Scot i dont think ill be going to Scotland anytime soon but i also love folk and bluegrass and the blues. I miss the old bar folk nights i used to go to every week too much beer but i miss the music and the camaraderie :)

Your description had an instant reaction in me, which is aside from my listening experience. WWIII is being fought as we speak, and has not been declared officially. It involves the almost unbreakable connection between the corporations and the government who dictates that which is acceptable. It involves the rejection of this connection. These are the mutual enemies, and the front lines are everywhere. The weapons are chemical and genetic on one side, and on the other they are dedication, communication and activism. One represents peaceful action, and one represent eradication. We are, unfortunately, forced to choose a side.
I am listening again, in order to give a more artistic response to the song. It was an amazing backdrop for writing my previous comments, and for that I must give it much credit. This is also the perfect vibe to go with my lager and herbal infused pipe smoke. I am a big fan of slide guitar, to the point where I fashioned a guitar specifically for that purpose, and I am also a fan of pure performance, and I respect what you have performed in this song. It feels real, so I must assume that it is. Rather than making an ass of u and me, assumption is the basis of most perception, and I respect it for what it is.
You have done something great here, and I am not going to question the source or motivation. Great work! Fave!
Spivkurl, I completely agree and i;m heading towards dedication, activism and communication more so the older i get and the more i realize that music transcends the madness of the world. This is something which brings people closer together and crushes the borders literal and mental. You have some fabulous material here. I really appreciated your comments which have given me food for thought and made my day. Best regards.
Hi Danke its an old song i composed years ago i still had the words for it and i sang it into the guitar loops. Im glad you like it thanks. Best regards.

Description : What happens when a short but hypnotic celtic intro turns into something completely different? The most noteworthy collaborator on this track (yeah you guessed, it's Tumbleweed) answered correctly to this question! A newly patented musical genre is what happens...yes..."SlovenianCelticCowboyMusic" is born. Sometimes we just have to cut off from being too serious...The version presented here has been carefully chosen from 4856 or so mixes...
As always all thanks to my dear friend Ed who makes such wonders possible to happen.....

Description : This is a country/folk track in a genre I don't do much, so I thought I'd give it a go. It also has some instruments I don't use much, namely the banjo, mandolin and fiddle. I got the title from a movie I saw a few months ago. Hope you enjoy, Scott.
Description : I wanted to do something different like i do normaly. And I think that I was successful.
A -drum ´n chill folk song-. A kind of hippie music in colorful garb of the modern era.
At the end of the track there is a bonus.
Something in the way of bonfire music.
Only minor2go with guitar and I sing all alone at ......................................................................................................

Description : I used 2 tracks i found on here, i hate to say it but i found them a while ago and cant remember who to give credit to. But i loved the simplicty in the guitar tracks and tried to put lyrics to it.
Description : This is a track I'm working on. I have the sounds I want in it. I'm trying to learn how to master things. I welcome your input on how it can be improved. Please.
From an old Appalachian folk song. Done by request.
I'm okay with this song enough that I put it on my album, Closet Monkey.
Description : My Dad found his old 8-track recorder. I think he was going to ask me if I was interested, but I was already half way to my room with it and a new song forming in my head.
This track is more of a straight-forward folk song. The opening is completely recorded on the 8-track, so it's a bit more lo-fi. Then the track kind of opens up into a cleaner chorus. I hope you enjoy my little experiment.
