Description : Update: Now the copetition is here the entry for his competition will be in the forum instead of here. I recommend you to read it since I added some new rules. Hello dear Byleth's fans (maybe), Mora is an another cinematic track I made by using ONLY midi. Even the fx is made by synths ( I just hit C4 to produce it). What makes Mora special ? Only the fact I discover a new library for Kontakt 5 for choirs ! I was searching one like that for a long amount of time. That means I may update every works with choirs I made by replacing the cheep basic choirs by this pro looking ones. Usually I do tell the story behind the music but I think this could be better if you use your imagination to find one who can fit well or perfect with this music. If you put your story as comments; for prize I will give you the Complete pack containing All loop both Raw and with fx, the midi files and 2 surprises . That means I will not upload any loop from Mora in the loop section. Please take note, if your story do not fit well with the music I will only give you the Demo pack containing choirs as loop. Finally, here some information who can help you to write down a story, The title is inspired by Hoerminus Mora from The Elder Scrolls. through the music you can hear a growl like at 0:19 min this could be a strange monster. You can feel ( I hope) a mystery or something to solve in the music.Good luck everyone !

very fresh sounding with your organ-like synths, and the female voices, brass instrument sounds, and of course rich in percussion.

We have here a great march to battle, perhaps the embarkation on some great military expedition by an army of Amazonian women! How's that for starters?!

    Reply by Byleth

Hello dear Midisharks, you comment is like a revelation ; im so happy you did notice something else than my drum...

what I love then most is than every instruments use a different melody except the Brass and Organ for the outro.

your "demo" of this story is pretty interesting, so you take the Female voice as Amazonian and the strange growl could be some animals who live in this forest. Also the main drum is the military march and the drum at var (Timpani) as a tribal one.

I strongly recommend you to write down the full version in the forum your imagination is incredible

Thanks for your entry and this great feedback !

    Peace and Handshakes from Byleth

Percussion, Percussion again and over again :S

Seriously, glad you did enjoy this epic and dense in action music. You where one of my "follower" who did help me sooo much with my improvement without you and the others I could never imagine I will be able to make epic music like Mora so special thanks for you dear Orlando

like you I do like the strings in Mora .. the outro is so epic just due to the strings

This is the first track I heard when I went on Looperman today and it goes so well with one of my projects!!! You did an excellent job, the percussion would make my project alive! :D

    Reply by Byleth

Hello dear HadiBinArshad, Im happy yo help you with your mysterious project!

This would be awesome if you could share on pm your project if you can....

The only thing I found a bit sad is how my percussion takes the attention over the choirs I did with the love of Satan :P

Also since idk what is your project maybe my Super Complete Package for Mora could help you inside there are the loops of every thing including the percussion. For that you just need to write down a story who fits with Mora. Dear Phat did a excellent one.

Anyway thanks to taking time to enjoy my Mora

    Peace and Handshakes from Byleth

Well I'm sure you know I enjoy this genre. The ideas and sounds are great, the only thing I do dislike is the percussion ending so abruptly but other than that, it's good work. :-)

WHAAAAAAAA something wrong with Mora !!!!!!!

Sorry but can you explain more in details the mistake I did with the outro ? you wanted me to add a reeverb or something like that with the percussion ?

And yea I know you love that genre as some looperman ppl call you the Cinematic guy...

Imagine if you write down a good story who fits with Mora you could have the famous package and Remixing my track. just imagine 2 epic spirits collaborating together this would create a Big Bang again !

Amazing comment, I have to tell you and phat about the hidden huge mistake I did. so the dl version you have is not the finished one I will upload tonight the "real" version please consider to re dl it and delete the old one.

for curious persons the error was I did not synchronize the organ patter with the rest at 2:32 min part its resulting a huge dissonant sounds. to fix it this will only takes few sec.

Funny fact due to this error I discover the 2:51 min part was more epic so I will keep it (originally only clash should be heard).

and thanks everyone for those very positive feedback and for the story.

Remember even if you tells me the story of your dog you will get the exclusive demo part of Mora's pack with choirs as loop. basically why not giving a try...

No story my friend, but a huge amount of respect from me for your incredible skills using only midi to create these wonderful cinematic pieces. Great use of percussion and strings to drive this one along. The choir is fantastic, really high quality work.

It is difficult to give you any advice to improve this one, so all I can do is stand and applaud your effort. Big, epic, wonderful track! Well done maestro. I hope all is well.

Hello dear Bear, im honored about your comment im somewhat happy to see im not alone who can't give advice on someone else perfect track.

The main reason why I love doing midi only projects its because I start from absolutely nothing to create something like Mora. I found this way unlimiting my creativity!

with loop or samples you always have to watch about the BPM and scales that's makes me sick.

im also happy to see I did reach some kind of professional work like yours.

    Peace and Handshakes from Byleth

p.s was a pleasure to read your comment over and over again!

YAAAYYY!! Elder Scrolls! :D I'm on a quest for the endless library in the realm of Apocrypha. Shrouded in mist, surrounded by acid filled seas, what lurks in their murky depths,I don not know or want to! I trudge forward, when suddenly I spot it poking out of the fog!! I enter and gaze in awe at the seemingly infinite shelves of books stretching out in all directions. I join the ghost inhabitants frantically searching through the non descript black bound books eternally seeking the knowledge of the ages until I as well become a ghost bound to this existence. :p Very cool epic track!

Description : Guys, This track made for a short movie.
I hope you enjoy it if you do then please leave me a comment.

Description : First off, I am a huge fan of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "The Hobbit." After watching all of the movies (including the final chapter of the Hobbit", I was motivated to write something that I thought might work with their journey home.

Samplitude has a couple of great new VST's, one called "World Flutes" and the other "Celtic Harp" and I used both of them in this song. I created every last note on this one. Guitars were all Fenders, soft synths besides the Samplitude items mentioned previously were created in the SynthMaster series by KVR, and the strings were created with Samplitude's "String Ensemble."

Not sure about the mix (my hearing is shot), so most of the mixing is done by sight instead of listening. If you hear something way out of whack, let me know. If you are interested in taking this one further, let me know and I'll post a link to the stems. Thanks to the Hobbit for the inspiration and to you for listening.

EDIT: I've had some requests for the individual instrument stems so here is the link to all of those files. The tempo is 80bpm. Feel free to do whatever you want with this one.

EDIT: I've had over 200 downloads of the stems, so if you have done anything with them it would be cool to hear it (thanks for the interest).

Description : it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!

Description : I had no particular intention doing this, but then it just came on me out of nowhere....How to make an antithesis Halloween work!? Prior to that there were no plans to make a track for the occasion, furthermore I've never been really interested in such a thing. It always seemed a bit silly to me if not outright childish. But then I remembered the Interview with The Vampire and Bram Stoker's Dracula. My gosh, there was some peculiar romanticism in there and I probably don't have to tell you twice that this must be a bait for Orlando, as is a cup of fresh young blood for a vampire...:) Furthermore I like people who are different, so I just have to like vampires who a different as it should be dawning on you by now that this won't be your standard Halloween tune...haven't I mentioned "antithesis"? growling zombies, midnight cemetery bells, creaking doors or any of your favourite horror sounds, although it's still a little bit darker in tone...hell yeah, vampires are still vampires...haha...but this one is mainly about a vampire desperately in love with a young lady, craving for her as a madman...I won't tell whether she's also a vampire or not, cause you might figure it out listening to the track...^^ Otherwise it was about time for me to come up with a new solo work, since I've been almost exclusively doing collabs in those past few months (which I love ofcourse)...afteral you can always ask Ed...:)^^____Happy Halloween folks!:)
