Description : it's incredible! he has done it again. only to taunt mankind, - the thinking zombie - broke into my studio, there he took a track of Phatkatz (Blues Jam) and made a soundtrack to it!
all he made only to show, how much he laughed at us two and everyone else. the thinking zombie. the new threat! protects your wives and daughters! I publish this song NOT because I want to support him. I will only point out the extent of the madness and the REAL existing risk! ---- >> In the lyric folder, there is a translation

Almost every time some ultra-special from your kitchen, Joe...
And I think that your extra twists on vocals always add the most to that level of it's no wonder that it pisses me off when some creatures...wolfs for example, just don't dig the concept those vocals are assigned to...:)

    My big compliments______Orlando

Nothing wrong with any of this, good mix got that live sound
that you don't hear much anymore...

    Very Nice...Joe

    Hey TG

Nice to know that you think it is a good one
I am with you when you say that this one sounds "live".
Thats one of the reasons why i loved to do some to it.
Phatkatz did realy a good job with this blues jam!

BTW - have a look in/to the lyrics :) there is/was a translation of the words ....... and in this case (this zombie fun thing) the words are made to let you smile a bit.

    Thanks for the friendly comment

well melody is fine, but whats wrong with those vocals?

    Reply by joecramer

    Hey Tomzovic

Nothing is wrong with the vocals :)
It is a kind of a "running Joke".

Phatkatz opend last year a - lets make some things around zombies - thread.
In that case i created this -the thinking zombie- one.
He´s just a (the first) real thinking zombie and loves to make songs about humans ....... and this one is just a little track with the voice of him on Phatkatz blues jam, where he told us how easy it was to get some nice and fresh jamaican food :)

Later i will do some "normal" vocals this blues jam for sure. `Cause i dont want that this zombie thing have a to bad influence on his cool music.

    Thanks for your friendly comment

I have to ask LOL!! Is it necrophilia if they're still moving? Can Zombies get pregnant? I know in one of the Dawn of the dead movies a zombie gave birth but I think she was pregnant before becoming a zombie. I have never heard of zombies starving to death! Good question!! Do they go to the bathroom too? All that brain meat they eat, what happens to it? In world war Z they freeze solid when they go north into the frozen lands but thaw in the warmer summer months. Great questions!! We're f*kd!

So it looks like we have to wait what the future will bring us (for sad things) in a couple of years ......

Maybe we sould try to eat some zombies :)

They're getting way too smart!! Hide the women and children! Rotting Horde was just the Beginning of the madness! HAHAHA Good one Joe :D Did you see Dawn of the Dead where they start to learn? One gets a machine gun and starts to figure out how to use it. Thinking Zombies would be unstoppable! In world War Z (book) the U.S. army makes a stand and hits a horde with everything, artillery, airstrikes, small arms, you name it. The just keep coming, no fear! It's like they're walking into a meat grinder and it doesn't even phase them!

    Hey Phatkatz

I wanted to sing to this nice blues track some cool vocals, and now
this a##hole who calls himself - the thinking zombie - was faster....... :)

Nice to read that you liked it.

Yeah, the moment when they start thinking, isn´t a good moment for humans :)
.....did you ever read any about zombies die for hunger?
I never heard any about it. So it looks like, they come (wherefrom dosen´t matter) and they stay dead alive for ever, until someone smashes there brain..... That must be almost the end of the evolution. Dead and alive for ever, with mind. Last step is sex and give birth to an already dead and alive zombiechild ...... oh god.....

    stay tuned

In my last vacation that is really true,
there were me and my girlfriend, in Jamaica.
people there are all nice and in a super good mood,
all have just grinned and I've just been amazed.

No one screamed or ran away quickly.
Only I could not understand it and found that unusual.
I looked around a bit and then it was clear to me very quickly,
they loved me and my style and above all my hair.

I'm headed down to the beach, where young people were laughing.
and beautiful women made in mini skirts dance moves.
They looked so sweet and tasty and all tanned.
the body fresh and well built, I looked very relaxed.

Then I thought, oh Fuck this shit, and said to one
how beautiful she is, how pleasant, and how well she can dance.
She looked friendly and I invite her,
tonight my personal guest to be

I brought her to my house. She trusted me.
I said something about, moonlight on her pure skin.
I opened the door and invited her in.
and I promised her this will be particularly adversely.

I'm a zombie and so charming.
let's go to my house, hand in hand.
Since waits, secretly, my girlfriend already.
I'm a zombie and a son of a bitch.

I'll take you to bed and vice a candle on.
Then comes my girlfriend and we eat you up.
I'm a zombie and I am in good shape.
I'll take you now, with me to the my home

I am a zombie, I am in good shape.
I'm a zombie and I eat you.
I am a zombie, I am in good shape.
I'm a zombie and I eat you.

Description : My friend, fellow musician, and all around great guy Mark Ratcliffe approached me about doing a blues tune and I jumped at the chance to work with Mark again. He's got a great voice for the blues....I once described it as a mixture of gin, cigarette smoke, and ministry. He sings the blues like he's been there and that is the way it should be done.

This tune sounds like a live we were there with Muddy Waters and the boys and I love the feel of this one. Mark Ratcliffe - vocals, lyrics, lead guitar, drums, bass, harmonica. Barry Morgan - rhythm guitars, organ, horns. No animals or cops were harmed in the production of this. A huge thanks to Mark for providing the talent (he also mixed and mastered it). I hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it.

Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!

Description : My thoughts for a Halloween track this year was to work up some foreboding Drone music with a little Delta Blues slide guitar mixed in. My inspiration being the classic story of Robert Johnson and his infamous deal with the Devil.

In Clarksdale, Mississippi in 1930, Robert Johnson supposedly made a deal with the devil at the crossroads where US highway 49 crosses US highway 61. Johnson had been playing down in Yazoo City and was on his way back up to Helena. He had hitched a ride that dropped him off next to the levee. It was a cool October night and a full moon glowed in the dark sky. He continued walking up the highway, guitar in his hand. As he approached the crossroads he was thinking about his friend Son House preaching to him about giving up his guitar playing. He really wasn't a good player and most people would joke and mock him when he was on stage. He hated it and was thinking he would give anything to be as good, no, better than his friend Son House. It was at that moment he noticed a figure in black standing there at the crossroads. As he approached him, a deep voice issued "Let me see that guitar boy"! He then took his guitar from him, tuned it and upon returning it asked if he would trade his soul to become a famous Bluesman. He agreed and the rest is history. Johnson's ability was seemingly transformed overnight to the amazement of everyone who knew him and he went on to become a Mississippi Blues legend. However, his fame was short lived. A mere eight years later the Devil returned to make good on the deal.

So this Halloween, be careful what you wish for, especially at the crossroads.

Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.

Enjoy and download away.

Description : Cosmic Eastern chillout atmospheric shuffle blues with loads of bluesy/Eastern electric guitar playing and warm sub bass (the same synth patch I've used in about 20 tracks). No drum loops and just two programmed acoustic kits - probably the simplest drum setup I've ever used. One day I hope to make a track containing only one drum kit. Also: a few female vocal samples (including a heavily timestretched one), one section of bass guitar, a few sample-based string instruments, a few notes of organ and two synth pad instruments. So, quite a minimal instrument lineup for me. It goes uptempo around 4:31 into a grooving, stomping bit of shuffle blues and I wonder if I should have brought this section back at the end for a triumphant finale. But I'm trying hard these days not to make things too long and this is already a decent length. Also contains some darker, Eastern sections but nothing too dark. Have a listen and leave me some interesting feedback - the more detail, the better.

Description : Been away for a while. I am doing something I usually don't do with this one. Here is a blues track I put together in a day. It features everything being done by me, with improvised solos for each instrument. This was done using Fl Studio 12 and my Korg M50 keyboard. I plan on adding lyrics to it down the road and having everything much cleaner. Anyhow, enjoy!
