Definitely an unusual style of ##### here! Has the vibe of being made on a tracker to my ears, which is cool as I used to use trackers for most of my music. Was this recorded through a mixer or onto tape? I ask because there is a hiss throughout the song... possibly it is just present in some of the samples. It's not distracting, I just noticed it when I turned up the volume... Which by the way is a good thing, that your song enticed me to turn up the volume. All in all a very original and fun track!

Thanks for your comment valued customer!

I recorded this particular track using the traditional smoke & signal method + catapult for good measure..lols

on a serious note.. it turns out that we both have the golden ears, because you are indeed correct about the humming

Someone should hire us for QC I reckon!

I'll need to quickly make up a story about how the humming was intended all along lmao

I don't know why but I could not stop laughing when listening to this one. :D It was quite different to what I normally listen to, but was much appreciated :P Keep it up!

STRINGS!!!!

Sorry, myself I love putting violin pretty everywhere so this tune is just perfect for me. I pretty like your very fast violin melodi

peace

Tripcore replied 11th May 2015 - 11 years ago

Thanks, the original sample used I think is on this site somewhere. It's hard for me to keep track of/credit every sample I use because I use many of them, and frequently. Though I have started to credit properly when I use main melodies that 'make' the song, such as Bdenney's great recent anthem work which can be found on this site..

Very nice track overall, though I feel like a sidechain on the kick and the first drop could make it sound a little better, I'm not completely sure though.

Description : A stranger's knife is expected. It wounds the body and spares the heart.

But when the blade comes from a brother's hand, or a son's, or a wife's gentle fingers, it carves something no surgeon can repair. They knew where I was soft. They had always known.

I have been betrayed by enemies and I have been betrayed by kin. Only one taught me that trust is a door, and family holds the only keys.

Blood binds us but It never promised to bind us kindly.
