Listen To Untitled Chill Tropical Track-NEEDS VOCALS Chill Out Song By 15ludwicke At Looperman.com

23rd Mar 2015 16:07 - 10 years ago
Description : Hey guys, after an extended break, I am back with what I think is my best work so far. I have been spending at least 10 hours a day in my daw, and I think that it is paying off. This is a song that I finished in one 10 hour session, and I think that it could really use some really good vocals. I left the intermediate parts really minimalistic to allow for any vocalist to work with lots of breathing room. If you want to collab and add vocals send me an email at enrico.ludwick@gmail.com and I can send you the mp3 of the song. I also down sampled the audio to be able to fit on the website, so hopefully that doesn't noticeably reduce the quality.
I hope I can find someone to get vocals on this track!
Thanks,
Rico L.

Just sat down in my beach chair with a pineapple & rum mixed drink in hand overlooking the crystal clear waters of the beach with dolphins jumping and playing in the background.

Opened my eyes... still at work. Nice work on this!! Excellent execution. Glad your dreams of the vocals are coming to fruition.

This one is beautiful man. Not exactly my cup of tea (a little too "tropical" for me :P) but it is definitely ready for some great vocals! You have talent, man. Don't stop what you're doing!

Brilliant production Rico!

I love the kick drum, it gets that smooth feel to the number...absolute top hit for this summer if you correct the end of the song...:-)
Everything is working fine together...Rico's style in it...I miss a bit, some flamenco guitars but this is only me, I think...:-)
Great work as always...
Relaxing, uplifting chill!!!

Thanx for the upload, greetings, Danke

Brilliant Production!

The vocals will definitely complete this track. Try contacting RomyHarmony on Looperman. She is too good. I guess her vox will go great with this tune.

You played very well with the Flute tone. Very innovative. But as very rightly said by StaticNomad, some more elements are needed or may be variations in rhythm or something forward... becomes flat after some time. Maybe I am wrong, maybe after vocals are added it won't feel the need for more instrumentation, but it is what I feel right now. And i hope it doesn't end the way it ends right now :p All the best for the singer hunt and if i get any references, i will forward it to you.

Great Stuff!

You should ask Kaylala if she could do something, you never know...
Just an idea, it may not be where you want to go with this...

But it has a very good feel solid arrangement of tones, nicely done...

Peace...TG.

The quality is fine...production sounds good....A study by The American Music Society says that 50% of people cannot tell the difference between a full Cd (wav) file and a 160 kps MP3 so no matter how we debate it here...you`ve got all you need....nice smooth chill mix...hope you get the vocal you want......well done...(the ending was a bit sudden).....Ed

Thanks for the comment tumbleweed, I talked about the ending a couple comments down and explained why it was a little sudden. Also, I am getting what I think are some good vocals on here. So I hope you like it!

Hi.

Damn, 10 hours a day is a lot. I'm not sure even I do that (when I have that many hours in a day spare) and I'm quite the music and music making obsessive.

Anyway, this is good but I don't love it. But I could come to love it if there were some really fine vocals added. A good song, basically. It sounds like there's lots of space left for vocals. However, if you never get them I'd say you might need to add some more elements or shorten the track to keep my interest.

You pan pipe instrument again, as in another of your tropical chill tracks. At many points I like it, at others I don't. Maybe it plays a little too often. I'm not quite sure.

This is actually really well made, with a very bright and easy listening sound. Fine mix and I'm not sure I can criticise any of it. There's a lot of good space in the whole track, which allows all the elements to breathe.

Hope you get those fine vocals.

Hey Static,
Yeah well I'm on spring break so I can afford to spend that much time sitting there making music haha. But thank you for your compliments and criticisms, I like that you are very honest and straightforward in your comments, thats what helps make people better. I do have a female vocalist that is providing some really good vocals for the track and I am very excited to be working with her. I'm going to be posting the song again with vocals soon so be sure to check it out. I hope you like it!

Thanks,
Rico L.

This is really nice and smooth. I agree, this would lend itself to some fine vocals. Good luck finding someone. It's a bit tough here on the loop. I agree with GO, below. The ending needs something

Hey muiscante,
Thanks for the comment! I hope I can find the perfect vocals for this song. As for the ending, I did have a fade out on the end, but took it off for the looperman post because it made the file size too big. I'm glad you liked this track though, I put a lot of effort into its creation!

This is incredible. This gives off a very deep and relaxing mood. Your use of the flute-like sound makes it that very tropical feel. Great use of the bassline and the drum patterns sounds consistent and well timed, especially with the echoing percussion after the first hit of 3rd beat of each measure. The strings are very light and adds alot of to the track. Also, the keys/synths are very light and gentle, which works very well with everything, given this is a tropical-like track. A very beautiful and creative track! Faved! I see no flaw at all. The only thing I would do, however is at the end, I'd make the outro fade out gradually, while playing the chorus or really, anything works as opposed to just an immediate ending. Peace!

Thanks so much Ookami for the repeated support on all of my tracks. I do have a fade out on the end, but took it off for the looperman post because it made the file size too big. I'm glad you liked this track though, I put a lot of effort into its creation!

Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.

Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.

Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.

Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...
