Quality mix mate, bouncy and tuneful as ever! 5:08 gets really prog house and is the stand out part for me!

FreeRadical replied 4th Jan 2015 - 11 years ago

Thanks man. I like that second track as well but when I played it back on my sound system it sounded to quiet. I think I need to revisit it and boost the levels on that part. Cheers as always for checking out this latest helping of custard.

hi FR, this is very funky, it moves nicely. Really solid sound. Lots of good vibes here. That bouncy stuff at the end is excellent. Thanks for sharing. Best, Alex

FreeRadical replied 2nd Jan 2015 - 11 years ago

Cheers Alex, I'm glad you managed to make it as far as the third part. Sometimes I think these ten minute tracks are a bit too long for most peoples attention span.
Thanks again for dropping in and leaving your thoughts.

Thanks. I think I need to adjust some of the levels in the second part but other than that I was pretty pleased with how this turned out.
Thanks as always for your support.

i listened up to 4:44 - making a beautiful transition into your second section. everything sounds great. it was a really nice build from 3:00 to 3:30. always learning from your work brother. best wishes. Dan

I'm happy that you feel you can learn something from my work. That's a huge compliment.

FR....You are another one that can make a ten minute plus track seem like moments, intro to 1.32 is so good, then a nice build to 3.11 then some nice changes but still with a driving beat, love the vocal kick in at 6.09, from then on the subtle changes and vocal inserts, nice outro too...great track as always.
Best wishes,
Mark

FreeRadical replied 1st Jan 2015 - 11 years ago

Cheers Mark. I'm glad that it didn't feel like ten minutes. I do "try" and add stuff to keep things interesting although I think there are a lot of peeps who do it better than me.
Cheers for stopping by and having a listen.

You are here to pump me up and get my Christmas off to a rousing beginning! I thought the fist part would make a good stand alone song, it was that good. Mix sounds great, cool transitions and effects, especially the one around 9 minutes.

Take care man!

Wayne

FreeRadical replied 27th Dec 2014 - 11 years ago

Glad I could get your Christmas off to a pumping start. Hope you had a good one.
I was going to leave it as one track but then I figured I still had five minutes left to fill so I thought I might as well carry on.
Cheers for stopping by and comenting as always.

Yo FR !

Intro and the first part are very relaxed
and i love the acidlike baseline ,
its more acidtrance then techno ...
the technobase is lovely in the 2nd part ,
Vocals can be less ,i think , but nice .

Third part is nice ad dancable
love the synts and base.
and this part got me on my feet and dance ...
pity that part was way to short ,
now im standing here ,doing nothing ,lol...

good mix again ! .
greetz !!

FreeRadical replied 27th Dec 2014 - 11 years ago

I would have liked to have carried it on for longer but the 10mb limit means you have to stop around the ten minute mark. Glad I could get you up on your feet and dancing.
Cheers for stopping by and commenting.
