Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. Good groove and big clap but my favourite part of the main beat is the sort of bass clav that rumbles along nicely underneath that lead. Subtle but it also makes a lot of difference.
1:36 people can really dance to this kind of thing and it's something you can get lost in. Not dark but it's got some slightly menacing vibe. I guess it's kind of deep house.
2:18 lead is cool. Bit of a talking vibe to it. But then it sort of seems to give up a bit. Last 40 secs of this track is it kind of winding down, which doesn't seem like a really satisfactory way to end things.
Maybe it's a little short, like you should have done more with that lead I like. Perhaps bring in another to play off it. Just some small ideas.
Good work anyway, even though it's not the kind of stuff I'm most into.

This is your most melodical theme...
The main synth line is stunning, the groovy too...
On my humble opinion, the middle part is not really necessary (my taste)...I wouldn't break that flowing groovy, if I was you...
This could easily be fitted by a female voice...
