It is not, that I don't like a big kick and hard house music, but I think there is no hard without softness, I even dropped much of the compression to make more dynamic range. The original track is way harder than this.

Funny thing is that I asked my 74 year old mother that mostly likes classical music about what she thought. She did not like the original house track at all, she hates house music in general, and thought it would be impossible to make it sound good. I managed the impossible. She really likes this track. She also gave me good advice regarding the mixing and structure of the track. I used all her great ideas. So this track was made with a 74 old passionate house hater that mostly listens to classical music.

I understand what you mean, and I have also been thinking about if it is too soft. I can do it hard, so that is not the issue:

It is the choir thing in the beginning, and the energy in general of this track that inspired me to do it soft. It is as you mentioned über soft. The music more or less dictates me what to do. So I'm just a humble servant.

I will give your suggestions some thoughts.

Yes I wanted to do something with more positive and softer energy and take the track to a new level.
