Description : I integrated here a Pella, of David Forest, of the group "Trifonic" and of album "Emergence" (2008, Trifonic Music LLC) in a musical concept that will remind to some the style Electro / Pop from groups of the 2000s ....

Very different from what I usually performs, but fun to do ....

Thank you for listening ....

I apologize for not replying in a timely manner. I was bed ridden for about 3 weeks due to a viral sickness I had. Damn flu nearly put me in a coma lol, and my breathing was very shallow. Now I am about 90 percent healthy, however, I promise to listen to the song and get to work my friend. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to work with you again. Take care!

Hello Dan, well I have heard probably 20 remixes using David's pella, and I have to say this is probably one of the most unique, and most pleasant of all that I've heard. I think this illustrates your incredible skills as a composer, arranger and musician. Simply put, this one stands as one of the best uses of this pella ever. Bravo maestro. I hope all is well on your side of the pond.

The other side (for you) of the Atlantic, the time is gray, rainy, windy. In short, all the conditions to stay well sheltered in front of his computer screen and try to produce some acceptable musics with my modest skills ....
Thank you of your pleasant comment for this umpteenth version ....
Take care of yourself. Have a nice weekend ....

Fantastic Dan, great use of the vocals and creating an atmosphere. It reminds me of Duran Duran and IAMX in it's presentation. Both Highly Underated bands that fly off the radar with some very interesting music.

Like the effects on the vocals, there is a nice echo/delay/reverb happening. He has a nice voice and you chose some nice soft sounds to surround them. It seems a little darker than what you mostly do, maybe the vocals led you in that direction.

Another track I can say I enjoyed from beginning to end. Well done Dan!

    Hello Wayne ....

I have followed my musical instinct when I heard this pella there a few years back.
I heard a lot of remixes with that voice but I wanted to do something different with my bases and my harmonic knowledge. Another way to express myself probably also.
Thank you for this very complimentary, and detailed comment.

Well well, I would venture to say it has the darkness of early eighties depeche mode but with more orchestral richness. Is that a fruit loops styrus arp at around 0.56? Love the vocal eq, a bit telephone which gives it starkness. This is great...a nice surprise of your variation of talent!!

    Reply by VickyDan

    Hello ....

@ "fruit loops styrus" .... You mean "Sytrus"?
As I've written below, I do not have the software Fl Studio or any of these components.
But the Vsts available on the net, can sometimes be very close in sounds of this software ....
Thank you for your comment, and good weekend.

Bonjour Dan...it is a bit different for you but bears your signature for the thoughtfulness and care in the composing and production...and there is also something that I cant really describe that adds your name to the music...perhaps it is the way it speaks quietly to the mind of the listener...and as always you have performed another that brought me an enjoyable listen....Ed

    Reply by VickyDan

    Bonjour Ed ....

I do not know if this is really my musical "signature", but like you there are some elements which may be the recognition of a way of composing ....
I took here, a little byway, for to empty my mind on much more sophisticated concepts, for which I currently abuts .... Just like to give me of the air.

Again thank you for your support. Have a good Sunday ....

P.S: Our project is well under way, do not worry.

The "Master" salutes you and thanks you .... but far from me this thoughts, because we must remain in modesty. I received this gift of music, that I try with my modest means of to elevate me in an acceptable level.
Far from me to be a "Maestro" accomplished .... There are so many way to go to reach the top .... and I doubt I have enough time to get there properly ....

While hope springs eternal, and in the meantime, I thank you from my heart for your presence in my little musical world ....

    Bonjour Dan =]

    what a surprise here.
the lyrics are emotional, romantic, liked the whole arrangement.
this adaptation of the voice once again is great.
very quiet and fun for the ears from the battery until the melody is soft.
I felt the presence of an arp 1:44, the sound is very common for me, I use an arp several times in my songs, called "ECHOES" [Fl studio]
I wonder if it's the same?

would be interesting to hear your music on a radio, or a small clip, I imagined this situation.

    I loved the melody
for me, this song is very beautiful.
    excellent work

    Reply by VickyDan

    Oi amigo Brasileiro ....

There is no "arp" here .... nor of "FL studio" .... I do not have, and I have never practiced with this music software.
My synths YAMAHA, few VST and samples for drums and percusions, all mixed with Samplitude Studio Magix ....
On a possible "clip" I'm not good for video, but no problem if you have a project, I agree to follow you.
I tried but without much conviction. Look here:

Pending, a thousand times thank you for your support and lively Brazil ....

This song showcases your versatility as a musician very prominently! Definitely a different part of you on view. I really like the intertwining elements you've created in this piece! Can't say I've heard many songs like this, I was a little absent when this sort of music was popular though. A very enjoyable listen! Fave!

It is a kind of music that has not aged too badly .... Even if it is not of my generation, who would rather of, "Beatles" of "Rolling Stones" of "Animals" etc. .. ..
As you notice I no longer have 20 years .... They are far, far away.

Thank you having intervened and to have commented on this little musical interlude ....

Great track for sure. I will also love to do something with you.

Normally I'm on a Jihad on over compression, because it destroys sound quality. But in this case I will suggest you put a limiter on or something to make the music sound louder.
    But not too much:

I will be here when you need me by your side
I will be here once the thrill is gone
I will be here when everything is just right
I will be here after you move on

I’m a rock in the ocean
And you are the tide
You know I am going nowhere
I’m just waiting here for the water to rise

I don’t know how the story ends
And I don’t want to know, so if you do
Don’t tell me
Let’s pretend we write it as we go
Promises are so hard to keep
We say things we don’t mean
You’re here for now is good enough for me ....
