I saw your post on my track wich is on ambient category, but THIS, is a cool ambient piano and sound, right time and sensation of peace and relax.
Thank you for your vibrations.
Hello Mickey! What a GORGEOUS track! The mix is so on the money. While I agree with Designed regarding vocals, the right vocal blended well would be stratospheric! Well done, you!
Love the "voices" in this track, oohs and ahhs. Some sound keyboard but some sound real. I agree with one of the instruments sounding "Cheesy" coming in at 1:16. A bit harsh against the rest of the mix. Overall though a real pleasure to listen to.
the voice was futurenalysis which I've now included in the title, I lost the download, but found it again, 'sorry for that' I will rework this track and work on the points indicated, your right 1.16 doesn't marry with the track, had a no brainer moment there, thank-you for your views they do mean something to me. thanks for the listen. Mickey
Cheers, Glad you liked the track and thanks for your words, just checked your latest track with Ms J on the vocals.. very good indeed my friend, much for me to explore. thanks for the listen. Mickey
Already a lot of "professionalism" in this arrangement of high quality with voice of Josh. Harmonic shades are particularly successful, and the right level effects. I like this track I would say "Cinématic" .... with an increase of the tension who is palpable, and this final apotheosis .... All your musical personality here .... Congratulations.
Thank-you Dan I play my acoustic over this and love playing the chord arrangement with a capo on the third fret, Em7th, l feel as in the title all lies will unfold... I so pleased you liked it. Mickey
Mickey I was ouT of looperman & was listening this ...was beautifull enough to convince me log in & mark it & write very nice tune & considered harmonization & arrangemenT .best wishes._____Behnam
Yes, good work. Some of the sounds are a little light and cheesy for me but the playing is good and tight and simple. I don't really think of it as jazz, probably due to the drum loop and lack of swing. The backing little riffs (behind the main keyboard chords) pretty much make it come alive and must have been fun to play. Maybe they're a little repetitive. Perhaps you could try putting them through some fairly radical FX to make them move about a bit more (eg some some of glitch/cut-up effect or radical delay) or perhaps just change the notes or timing as they sound copied and pasted rather than replayed. Please tell me if I'm guessing wrong as it's more than possible!
Thanks for your words, l will go back and tweet this track when l lay some vocals down, yes some bit were looped, i always wanted to play a live piano over this piece, so maybe that would give it more of a live feel, as to the jazz ref' l used some major7th cords and minor augmented cords that do pop up in jazz, but as to its ref' maybe that was a bit ambitious off me....and l will have a look at the FX when l come back to the track. thanks for the listen. Mickey
Gotta love them sweet sounding lies. Helps with things later on in life some how. Cool reflective thoughts. Like the fused ideas, chilled out vibe with the catchy melodies, that bass is great. Its good to have vocals but to me this doesn't need any, already speaking loud and clear and thanks for sharing. Eyes open. Peace.
Lies will always catch us out, and our artistic integrity will always be a thorn in some peoples side, we can only measure the coming of songs we write by the inspiration of the universe we occupy, you so got it. I'm impressed by your words. Mickey
Cheers K... I will get there with the vocals. sometimes I run before l walk. apparently l need to sort out some drivers probs before l can get the vocals to run through Cubase via my mixing desk.. which is a Behringer xenyx x2442 with USB. I'm not a tech head more a player. but I'm up for the challenge.. lol thanks for your words. Mickey

Description : Headphones are recommended for a more immersive experience :P - - - A weary American soldier is walking through the remains of what used to be a small town in the middle east, only to rediscover the horrible reality that sometimes war can affect even the ones who have no part in it.

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
Description : Working with DarkKZ by Beatskillz, Synthmaster 2.9, Waves Bass Fingers, Microtonic drum synth, Izotope nectar 3 elements, Ozone 8 Elements & several other plugings I'm trying for the first time. The vocal samples are from Ghosthack, LANDR & Sampleswap. Hope you like it. Cheers.
Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : Ambient, psychedelic chill out rock or something or rather. Lyrics, vocals, guitars and keyboards myself. One drum loop used (free Loopmasters ambient pack). If you want a bit of a back story on the words check the lyric page.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : EDIT: I adjusted the ending as per Paperkup's suggestion. I like it better. Maybe you will too.
The realization, and inevitable acceptance that the last ember of life is smouldering into obscurity. Then finally, and peacefully, exhaling the final breath of life.
This is a dark ambient track that will go between two of my other tracks. A good pair of headphones/earbuds are highly suggested for this one.
Opinions and criticisms are welcome. Enjoy, and take care. V.
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. Feedback is always welcome. Thanks.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye
