this is one of your best Stefano....your music reminds me how great it is to have these little music communities like LM where we can hear music that is so different from the canned stuff on our radios....we are all products of the music environment we grow in I think..and I really enjoyed this one...just caught up with it this evening (Wed night here in Canada) and it was a pleasure...great job....Ed

Hey Ed, I'm very sorry! I just realize now that I forgot to give feedback to your comment!
Thank you, for your kind words, bro, and I'm glad that you enjoyed my little track up there in Canada...
Yes, LM is a wonderful place and I already feel part of this little big community, even though I'm a newbie!

This is a very nice track, SeaDog. It has a really cool vibe to it. On my system, though, the instruments are a bit overpowering the vocals, but maybe that's the sound you were going for. Also, the highs and lows are good, but the mids seem lacking a bit. Again, if this is the sound you are going for, please disregard.

Looking forward to your future tracks.

Cheers,
Scott

I like this a lot. For me, the volume on the vocals is fine - they cut through, and I like that they're a little under the music but I can still hear every word just fine.

You've built a really nice structure here Stefano!
My only suggestion would be in regards to vocal volume. Sometimes they get washed out by the instrumental.

Peace!

Hi Bonnie. Thank you for listening and for your comment.

As a matter of fact, I was uncertain whether to emphasize the vocals or not, and then decided to leave it in the background applying a filter.

Thanks again for your advice.

Cheers,
Stefano

This is cool! I like your keyboard playing! My only worry is that the whole mix sounds a little tinny or something. Still very fun to listen to!

Thanks Spivkurl for listening and for your comment.

I understand what you mean (the tinny mix), also my wife agrees with you ;)

Thanks again for your advice.

Very nice atmosphere you have wrapped the vocals in! Such a mesmerizing, dreamy piece.

Be nice if you let us know who the vocals are :-).

Nice job.

Thank you, Patricia!
I'm happy that you like my track!

Sorry, I don't know whose this voice is. I found it on a bonus DVD of a known computer music magazine. This sample is labelled as 'DMO', maybe the artist's name?
Anyway, it's a beautiful voice and also a nice melody, I will be very glad to credit her, if someone can help...

Peace & Love

Stefano

Description : A track I did with a friend ages ago. I play the guitar and he sang and wrote the lyrics. The lyrics came mostly from headlines in the newspaper that sunday. Recorded using a crappy old microphone direct into cubase with a few overdubs

This is not my story, but someone very dear to me... the lyrics are pretty close to what they said. What they said and the pain they felt touched me and I hope you can hear that in the song.
