This is a lovely piece of music. I just watched Avatar the other night and I can hear this in that movie somewhere(at about 35:12 i think, lol) Emotional, stirring, great drums for tension, while peaceful strings and woodwinds carry me safely through this musical journey. Well done!

Chris...wow...chris.. if I had never seen your profile & hadn't read you've written ''making music for fun'',so > nodoubt I guessed it was a new professional & considered track which will be used in some film or professional animation in 2013 ...oh! man,I really don't know if you say it was just for fun,so what should such experimental musician like me write below his experimental & error & trials musics .best wishes dear friend.

brillbilly replied 31st Mar 2013 - 13 years ago

Thank you so much behnam!

I do just make music as a fun hobby!

I cant read music,but i do play guitar/keyboards!

I just make from what i like the sounds and feel of!

I just use a basic program like Magix Pro!

The main thing for me is enjoyment, as i find making music very Therapeutic!

It soothes my inner soul and is a great way to put thoughts to music and capture that moment!

Kind regards to you!

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.
