This is a cool sound which reminds me of the prog group, King Crimson. They would start a song similar to this and than all hell would break loose! Good job.

Cheers,
Scott

I see a snake slithering along in some grassland maybe a garden, stalking some prey or looking for a nice place to nap. Great! :D

That snake got me so entranced, I didn't know where I was for a while there. Arrangement and production are first class. Really nice job.

DanGoldstein replied 24th May 2013 - 13 years ago

tx, dark. trust the snake. he needs love too (LOL). thanks for your visit and words.

I enjoyed hearing the song here on looperman, but I think it is best heard while looking at the amazing serpent's eye!
Good.

KAMPUTERA 15th May 2013 19:57 - 13 years ago

Sounds like it could be the theme track to an RPG game. The adventure medeival or sci-fi ones. I like the idea. Sell it like Sega! :)

DanGoldstein replied 15th May 2013 - 13 years ago

i'm gonna give some thought to that, Kamp. folks have commented along these lines (RPG music) before. Did you ever go back to a track you did a while ago and it's like - OMG! really feel like remixing this one but onward and upward. thanks for your words. peace.

a wonderful Bartok-ian sound fable - whatever ya think about the mix, the composition and arrangement is exquisite - compact and big in a large way - bravos!

DanGoldstein replied 7th Mar 2013 - 13 years ago

huge thanks brother mike. you know - if I had my druthers this morn I would just chill and listen to the entire Bluebeard's Castle. Was totally floored that you alluded to Bartok. peace.

The whistle is a little loud but evens out as is goes. Really dig this piece by you. Catchy tune. Can visual the shuffling serpent and what's behind. Thanks for sharing with us. Peace.

DanGoldstein replied 6th Mar 2013 - 13 years ago

thanks for stopping by, Dj. glad you feel it a little. did you ever notice that your MP3s play louder on the loop? feel like I need to do a toned down version for posting here.

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.
