What I did? A new intro and other things. Particularly accented her vocals and some slight adjustments to the guitar, drums. The song is in an vintage vinyl single style. You're right about the master...
It sounds too muddy and some sounds just dissappear...
I did EQ'ing and maximized (on the master bus) but I probably overdid a bit!
The pad has an wide ping-pong delay to it... maybe that bites with the maximizer!
