i didn`t realise i had any skills!
but crispy clean sounds good to me, don`t know about the ridiculous bit though, thanks for the listen and comments, every positive one is a little bit more confidence.reckon i got about a tablespoon of it now :)
thanks for the listen and comment, drums are my least favourite part, always struggle with them so its nice to know ppl like em, hooky bass lines are even harder LOL.
There is two things that makes me hooked on a specific tune, and the first one is the combination of unusual chords and still make it "work" in the end, the second is playfullness with the beat itself. Just because it says 1/4:th of a note doesnt prevent it from being a delayed 1/5:th note so 2 speak. Meaning that you put something "out of sync" and are capable of making that work as well.. This tune has both of those criterias witch makes it extremly enjoyable to listen too.
thanks for your thoughts, and taking the time to put them down, not sure about the awesome LOL, this place is home to some amazing stuff and i`m enjoying being here, its definately expanding my musical side. thanks again !!
Yeh it sounds real good on the studio monitors. This is a killer song just killer. O.K I'm partial to this genre but objectivly the song is constructed perfectly, every transition flows to the next. You never loose the groove yet put in just the right amount of spice (synth vocal) sometimes I get blown away by what people post here. This is one of them. will I be able to download this at some point soon as I'd like to include mit in a compelation of looperman artists just for my personal use. Props Foxy!

hi edz? you can get a download above or message me if not,
thanks for taking the time to listen and review twice :)
i`m glad you liked it, i was uncertain about the structure, at the time i think its right, but then the doubts creep in so i`m pleased you approve.i too am amazed at the quality of some of the stuff on here, but must give credit to JJ for uploading some fantastic pellas, this tune would never have happened if she didn`t. :)
OH WOW What a sweet peice of electronic funk. Great song structure takes you through the song effortlessly and just keeps your head bopping along. i only listened through my computer speakers I'll listen through the studio monitors and give you more feedback but my first impressions
WOW!
This has a pretty good synth/bass line - it carries the song thru the murky parts, I really dig the vocals when they are spacey but then when they go hollowing in the second section it kinda freaks me out lol
good sound over all and the are only a couple parts that aren't as 'keep ya moving forward' as they could be in my mind.. keep up the work, nothing is bad, it's allll good !
thanks for your honesty :).i can guess the bits you mean, as usual i think i`ve done as well as i can on a tune, then 2 weeks and a few more listens later i wish i`d done most of it differently, but... maybe the next one will be different lol.

really funky electronic feel. when it goes into the break it sounds almost Caribbean... like the drum arrangement. then goes into those airy pad type sounds.
it all sounds awesome.
if i can think any criticism its the vocal... sounds a bit uhhmm... scratchy. dunno if that came with the 'pella but could sound a bit fuller.
thanks, any issues with the vocals are probably my fault, added some fx to distinguish the loops
thanks for your honesty, thats the reason its up here :)
shortbus earth wind and fire oh those were the days it also has a express and that 1987 house sound to but all in all a production made and produced to great detail
the performance has been delivered to very high standards
much respect to you keep up the fantastic work nufoxx
thanks for taking the time to listen and comment
obviously i`m far too young to have heard of earth, wind and fire.. :)
gonna check out some zero2zero soon, just need me chilled head on!! thanks again.
Everything is placed just right to deliver that catchy tune that gets the body to wiggle and the head to bob!!! I'm ecstatic about this piece- you put so many unique sounds together I honestly wouldn't be drawn to by themselves but it worked and brings some originality to the table!!!
The way you mixed my vocals is equally impressive- sounds great!!!
I'd like a copy for my personal music library! :) write4heaven@hotmail.com
i`m so pleased you like it, have to admit that your vocals transformed a track i was on the verge of putting into storage! the ooh ooh bit was a discarded section of chopped off bits that i accidentaly played before deleting and nearly fell off my chair in a eureka! moment. definately gonna be using your vocals again and a copy is on its way to you. thanks again, been dying for you to hear it since i put it on here( i can sleep easy now LoL) Simon
I'm an old guy, old enough to remember all of the great dance tunes in the 70's and this one has almost an Earth, Wind and Fire vibe to it. I absolutely loved everything about it.
This is a great blend of old and new, a fusion of two different eras (not sure that was your intent, but that's the feeling I get from it). I could hear this one playing on the radio back in 1976, or this morning :)
thanks bear, i never intend my stuff to sound like anything, it is what it is , but i`m flattered by your comments and glad you enjoyed it. once again thanks :)
Well this is way out of my musical realms but I did like the trip. A lot of little neat sounds going on here and that I understand makes all the difference. Really catches you and with that vocal makes everything bounce just right. Ha, I really thought that breakdown around the 3 minute mark was very nice! Little space trip.
All in all it sounds well rounded and interesting throughout the whole piece. I felt like this was a commercial and I got hooked in :) Keep up the interesting music nufoxx. Nice mixing ideas. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the nu experience. Have a good 1, Peace.
thanks, gotta admit the vocal stabs made a massive difference to how i felt about the track and the direction i took it in, as for the breakdown, i nearly kept it to develop on its own :) but i like to tie projects up neatly and start with a clean slate so to speak! once again thanks for taking the time, cheers
Description : Feel free to check out the video on YT as well (Alan McLaren Project - Upside Down) of this 6min journey from electronic to rock with some psychedelic moments...
This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.

really professional work.
well done!
but crispy clean sounds good to me, don`t know about the ridiculous bit though, thanks for the listen and comments, every positive one is a little bit more confidence.reckon i got about a tablespoon of it now :)
only suggestion I would have to make is I feel it needs a hooky bass line to compliment the main synth,
But maybe for this Genre its not needed, :)
Awesome work.. ///Dec
