dubcore huh? well sounds good to me lol. Like the strings and beat is simple but bangin'. Could do with more low end but thats personal preference ;). What i do is back up my wobbles with a sub bass playing the same notes and link em up to the same channel just makes things a little more powerful. cheers
i generally do that too... however, the song requires a vocal... so i will admit that it is A. slightly repetative, and B. pretty unbalanced in a sonic sense...
if i ever get round to doing it proper i will do what you suggest. Its a technique i have used before and i completely agree that its something i should look at... and i will, thanks for the feed back dude.
:)
wouldn't mind a flip at a remix on this including any files that you didn't use specifically in this version.. (fx, wavs, loops, flp etc, whatever ya got)
you can check my remixing abilities on my tracks page under NVRemix tracks on page 2:
Wow what a bum deal the singer copped out. Anyway, your tech ability and the just great sound of this song is big. Props to DubTek, you've got some of the sickest bass lines.
In this song not so much. It's not a bass driven song (not a plus or minus). As a song it leaves me kind of restless. I think if you add some vocals you may need to takeout some synth stuff or you could choose to use this w/o vocal perhaps add solo, differant rythm break down, something to make it more flavorful. But... It's a cool groove in need of pushing one way or the other to make it a more expressive song
Think i played this when you uploaded it. nice synth work in this. the string gets a little repetitive after a while but creates a nice drive at first. Me personally i think you can mesh and layer a little more sounds into the mix. maybe change the string up a little, some slight fx. kind of feel like your holding back. Sometimes when i compose my songs i will change up the entire arrangement. so in turn the songs you hear on my page might have undergone 3 to several changes! but yea, just my input! peace out brudda
i was planning to change it all up when i got the vocal, as that can change alot in terms of depth... the arrangement will change a bit. you know, ive listened to it a fair few times since writing it and i think the strings are repetitive aswell... if i ever get a vocal for it i will change that for sure...
got to say dubstep is my least fav electronic music but
the strings add a lot of colour to this
the drums are crisp and punchy, the synths spot on
maybe a vocal ( not sure )
you nearly winning me back over to the darkside :)
oh yea... great ending !
Cool dubscore hugh! so are you gonna try and find a vocal for it in the acapella section? Hey what time is it there in england. I'm having my morning coffee here usa east coast
on one of my other tracks i mentioned in the discription that i always think dubstep sounds better at 150 bpm ... so a guy called ewaltruts said i should call it dubcore... and so dubcore was born... lol
as far as the vocal is concerned, what happened was tristanwood posted on the forum that he wanted someone to write a dubstep song he wanted to record a vocal over... so i asked him to send me something to build a song to his strengths... i did this track.. messaged him... and he never got back to me... lame...
Funny thing is, that i personally like this tune becuase it contains the exact same chords and instruments i used to mess around with in the beginning of learning reason. I have NO idea how you made the Malstroem or the Sub make that randomish sound, prolly Matrix, anyhoo, i was impressed beacuse it was 500 billion times better than my own accomplishments in the beginning. I really hope, that Tristanwood will grab this tune and put some lyrics on it, beacuse in the middle, i got the feeling that something was missing (Or maby just me bacuse of the chords i did for over 5 years, lol). I am not the one judge when it comes to "what" was missing, but i think a voice could help in making the tune even more interesting.
Thanks dude.
the track its self is meant for a vocal. however, i messaged the guy and he never came back to me, maybe he didnt like it. lol
either way i never heard back.
as far as the basses are concerned, its actually 3 different bass patches. ones a combi with 4 malstroms(hi,low, mid and extra bit of a growly low end)compression and EQ fed into a scream 4 patch.
second is a combi with a simple thor and scream for patch with the LFO automated.
third and most important is the same thor but with fold back distortion fed into a splitter half going to the mixer and then the other half going to an arp thats controlled by the the lfo(which also controlls the frequency and the pos on the oscillators) and then back into the mixer. sounds weird but that how i got that jittery bass line effect.
its a long way round but it gives you control in as far as automation is concerned, however if i was doing the patch again id do it more simply, its just... i dont have to... cause i got this one.
lol
thanks for the input... your right.. it really does need a vocal.

Description : If you're looking for Skrillex and his cronies, you've come to the wrong place. It's not that kind of dubstep. This track opens with a nod to my fellow Vault Dwellers and Wanderers of the Wastes, and transitions into a deep, dark celebration of the Horror movie genre. Some of you will get it. Some of you won't. Either way, I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks for listening. Take care. V.
Description : Update //** Quality has been adjusted from 160kbps to 192kbps. Hope this helps :) **// Hey guys, today I bring you my first remix track and my second real attempt at dubstep. This track is a remix of my buddy's, Golden track. You can check out the original here : https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/147676 and his soundcloud here : https://soundcloud.com/goldenookami. This is the short version aka the demo version. I plan on making a longer version later. As always your comments and tips are very welcome. Thanks for stopping by, and take care!
Description : Showcase! Melodic dubstep RMX. Project 2.5
Paul is also a looperman member.
I really liked Pauls melodies in his song and i enjoyed in remixing it! His version is melodic trance or house i would say, so logically i gone to dubstep way LOL.
Enjoy!!
Check him out.
Original song: Paul Creaney - Project 2 here on looperman.
Description : This is an old project I made back in 2015. The voice you hear is Richard Trager from the game "Outlast".So, I present to you: Dr. Trager By ProPAIN. If the Site Director or whatever is willing to approve me uploading loops, then I will see about uploading the Bass Drop by itself for you to be creative with. Thank you for listening!
Description : Hello hello! School is finally over so I'll be posting much more now :P Thanks everyone for the loops! I used a bunch of them to which I added some synth, congas and little fillers to make the track build up nicely. Hope you enjoy! ;D
Also if any rappers wanna add a verse somewhere feel free to do it and send me the results! Just put (featuring Charlie Rose) in the title of the song if you wanna publish it.
Happy 420!
Description : This is my new single! It's a little different style than I'd normally go for (deeper and darker), but I really liked the instrumental, which is my HakaN96, and just HAD to do something.
Let me know what you think of it! My mixing/mastering skills arent the best. I put the song under the Dubstep genre (because of the instrumental) but with all the singing i'm not sure if it's more popish or not. What do you think?
If you enjoyed the song please like my Facebook page! I would love to hear from you!
Description : Hard, gritty, screech dubstep.
This is in a set, you can find the Drum loop, the Build Up loop and the Bass loop on my profile.
