Description : A musical piece portraiting a Cyberpunk-tea-party.. I had the original Idea behind this extremly futuristic Brittish classic tea-party with influences like the mad hatter and mr rabbit.
"Your hand Mr.Burke" is simply an indication of burning himself when holding a cup.
Lots of violins and classic techno..
Enjoy! ///Dec

Everyone seems to think the kick is off. I would suggest replacing it with a larger type of drum sound. The first thing I thought of was the drums in the chorus. Something kind of tribal-like. Probably a deeper though. I remember seeing a band playing one of those larger rounded drums with the rounded, padded sticks and it sounded very interesting. Maybe someone knows the name of them.
Anyway, it may not be necessary, but it might help to add something else to the chorus to give it more depth.
Great track though it reminds me of something you'd hear in a movie especially before a climactic event
That is actually a great idea. I ahve always been a big fan of huge drums and well, drums that sound out of the ordinary and theres tons of variations out there that one could implement. Ive said it before and have to say it again that this kick you hear in mr.burke isnt even supposed to be there in the upload from the first place and is used as a beatracker for my own purpose when freeplaying either synths or the lpd8.
Thank y9ou for a proper review and ill make sure to have the huge drums in mind if i recreate this one again..
this is a lovely piece, sadly let down by the kick, i think maybe softer, glitchier type drums would have really complemented the music that should be glowing, but is knocked back by the odd sound of the kick, sort that out and you have a really great creation.
Glad you liked the tune and i dont know if ive excused myself enough for the kick in this case that is intended to be used as beattracker when i freeplay, and unfortunetly un-extracted when i finalized it. I did not listen to the upload here on looperman and i was sitting on a plance started to read the replies from the reviews and wondered "whot the heck are these fellows talking about??"
I am a big Steaem punk fan, even got a leather tophat with goggles!! it has a lovely transition to the fuller sound. One thing for me is an elevated drum pattern for the Chorus would really take it to the next level, Also a tiny bit more variation in the velocitys of the string stabs would really give them life!!:)
Leather tophat with goggles rock.. Thank you for the review tho even tho i realized i made a huge mistake(read previous posts), and drumpattern, well, ill see what i can do sinse this piece isnt supposed to have any drums at all in it from the first place.. lol.
Anyways.. Ill make sure to upload the one that was "intended" from start to make this tune some sort of justice...
oh lah... that fruity kick seems alittle off and out of the mix, perhaps try dialing up the resonance, pitch etc.. it's overpowering... or even a different kick sound or 2...
gonna need to kick the drums in somewhere, like add a snare, cymbals.. mmmm, it'll give it more power and movement
dig the symphonic sounds, nice melodies, i keep wanting to hear electric guitar kick in lol...
not a bad start, I can hear it opening up, esp when the synths all come in together, need that drum pattern big time.
Well, just posted a reply to inPSYcle about the kick in this piece, and must confess i made a big mistake.. I accidently uploaded my tune without extracting the beat i use to keep track the bpm when freeplaying my synth at the same time. This tune isnt even supposed to have a kick of anykind in it.. Im sorry for the mess, and i was hugely surpriced when i started to read the reviews.. Ill make sure to upload the tune without my beat-tracking-kick in the background or "foreground" in this case.. Anyways, thank you for the review.. ///Dec
I like the violin melody in this. The techno like thump kick doesn't fit to me however. Kind of competes with the other sounds. I like the arpeggiated synth though, makes it more trance when that comes on. More of a mix of genres. This has nice potential though, would of liked to hear more done with it. solid track. peace out!
Omg.. Just realized i made a huge booboo.. I was on the plane back to my Island, and read the reviews about Thy hand mr.burke and people started to talk about the "beat", and i was like "whot beat? Theres no beat in mr.burke???" when i recorded it i always liveplay "something" at the same time and to be spot on with the tempo i use a drum that i exludes when finalizing. This tune wasnt even ment to have a beat in it.. lol.. Well, thank you anyways when it comes to the review even if i made a complete f-up when uploading it.. made i sould start to listen to the uploads i make to make sure that none of this will happen again..

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : May I introduce you to KayOS? She writes wonderful poems and is a long term friend of mine. I did find a way to lay her voice into a sheet of musical blankets like I did with Dime before. It took me not long to get into her zone and produced a Chill Out song that reminds me to the first Chill Out pioneer Michael Cretu.
Please feel free to download from kayos2.bandcamp.com if you want to support our work. Many thanks, Oli&Kay
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...
