I just listened to this and bounced around my office like it was THE FIRST TIME ever hearing it! Lolol This brings back SO many GREAT and AWESOME memories for me! [Ohhhhhh, so, don't write a "house" song, just write a song! :-)] There are so many people back then that made this site enjoyable, you and this was one of them! Always great work! :-)
Even though it was over 7 years ago, I still remember writing the music for this like it was yesterday. For me it was a pretty big mile stone in terms of musical achievement - I felt this was the first song that really 'clicked' if y'know what I mean? And it was all because of your vocal sounding so amazing and being so easy to work with :)
I think I've come a pretty long way since 2012... how about you?? Are you still writing + singing?? If you are, link me your acapella's and I'll try and work my magic ;)
Good to see a familiar face that's still active around here!
this is an aural feat, i came back home to visit the fam, found this, and with it new resolve to create.
i had nearly given up on my passion. thank you for your slice of mind.
This a real proper tune man. Love the drums, the synths, the vocals. Everything sounds great, and the production is straight top notch. Very clean. Kudos, Peace.
Loving that Patricia Edwards vocal and the track in general .Feel that i'm back in the nineties @ Miss moneypennies when I hear epic stuff like this! You could go somewhere with tunes like this.
Hey, Wongki, it's been a while. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed this record very much. I also remixed this record too. But I'm not sure if I'm going to upload it here. After hearing this, I'm thinking that I shouldn't. Much respect to you and your talents, sir.
Thanks a lot for the props on this one dude!! Would love to hear your version so make sure you DO upload and if you could also let me know that you have, I'll be more than happy to drop a review for ya :D
You two make really good musical company...this is pro stuff WongKiShoo....kudos to you on the production values here too...super job...can`t go wrong with patricia at the mic but the music really kicks the whole song waaaay up...now you are corrupting me with this House stuff just when I was wallowing comfortable around in them Blues....I`ll be back over here when I need some lessons in the genre....top marks....Ed
Another wonderful composition here. I have "Your House is Dirty" on a few mixes and have mixed it into a couple of sets at clubs in Western NY. I love your sound, such classy house with terrific melodies and a crisp sound. This, with vocals, is prime time. It's been a pleasure hearing your tunes, I'd love to have this track some day as well. Keep up the brilliant work!
Wow, now there's a track I haven't heard in a while. I had no idea that it had been played in a club, I'm kinda surprised you thought it was good enough tbh lol .. so thanks! :D
I am pleased with how this one turned out - and even more pleased with the fantastic response that this has had! It's reviews like this that make it all worth while. Thanks again man!
Class class class track you have her bro! Absolutely friggin awesome! Love those synths and stabs. Absolutely incredible track man. Youve done a fantastic job with the mixing here. You’ve really turned this into a hit! Congrats to both you and P.
This really does sound like a pro effort now. It was good anyway but now it's really good.
You should get some test pressings made up and mail this out to a few pro DJ's. i reckon the likes of Rampling, Morales and Tenaglia would drop this tune to name but a few.
Mr Mahloo did a great job with the mastering, What was it? Pro tools?
Anyway, this is the first "no download" tune i've heard all year that's actually worth nicking so there's an accolade in it's self ha ha!
FR
It's amazing what a good mix and master can do to a track isn't it? I used FL studio to do the track, as for what Mahloo does his end, I haven't a clue. What ever it is though, it bloody works.. lol. As for sending it to big DJ's - I'm hoping I won't need to ;)
Don't worry that you haven't started the remix yet man, just do it whenever - I'll be honest, I haven't started on yours yet either lol
This track does seem to have kicked up some interest amongst quite a few peeps as it goes.. could be an interesting year for me - more eyes are always welcome :)
I'm no expert on house....as a matter of fact, the only house I know anything about is the one I live in.
What I do know is this is a song with all of the right elements, and they are all in the right places. This is well thought out, and the execution is flawless.
Props to Patricia, to you, and to Mahloo (for his stellar mix and master). This song is great example of a tune that is radio ready.
And something I would actually buy.
Outstanding effort by all. WongKi, you are slowly bringing me over to the dark side with your talents. Well done.
This is a club hit you came up with Mr WongKi ;)
Very good stuff. Your mix is so smart and this beat is dope !
This is a track I'd love to put in my DJplalist, cuz I'm sure this rythm and soul feel are f****in' efficient !
Nice intro to a great track....Now I'm not going to go on about Pat's great vocal talent but rather concentrate on what you've done with her ability......Unlike some other producers you actually have excellent rhythmic perception and a great sense of dramatisation within a linear framework, there is also ample evidence of your simpatico and due diligence to the task of creating balance within the dynamics of the track....the axiom "If it sounds good,it's usually better than you think" applies here....absolutely can't fault it anywhere...an excellent mix as well, top shelf!
cheers...Dave Urban (no I'm not Keith's brother)
Lovely work as always Wonki. As ever I stand awed at the immense talent you have. Patricia's vocals are superb & just the bestest. Got a version of this to post me-self at some stage but this my friend sets the bar very high indeed (& much higher then my humble attempt to do a 'PE House mix') ! ! !. Excellent work mate. Professional sounding, tight mix, good beats, lovely rhythms. Faultless. Respect at ya big time.
I'm loving the reception this track has had so far! I had a lot of fun on this one - and on this rare occasion creativity just kinda poured out of me..
Looking forward to hearing your interpretation on it dude!
I felt like you worked me awl up and then threw me down at the end, ya gotta do an encore or something there at the end...although, it made me hit play again so you may have somethin there! hehe
You could always do one of the clubhouse extended keep em on the dance floor a little longer versions!!! :-)
The girl don't know nothin 'bout house and she's singing it ROFL.
WongKiShoo I am blushing, giddy inside, inspired, this makes me want to do more house!! It's always great to hear any vocals get proper muzic and even though idunno a thing about what makes house house, I'd say this ROCKS, or is it this HOUSES LOL...I LOVE IT!!!
Hey WongKi!This has a gr8 retro feel!Very soulful vocal. It's quite jazzy and would go down really well in Cape Town, near to where I live in SA.Ends a bit suddenly though. As does this review as I can't think of anything to say but good work.lofty.x
I think this is the most solid house track I've put together to date.. Now all I need to do is move forward 20 or so years in time and I'll be up to date with the rest of today's standards :D
10/10 THIS IS AWESOME :3 I LIKE IT Patricia is awesome on the vocal and the beat just make me want to start dancing ^_^ BRAVO ON THIS ONE BRO. Have a good day =)
Description : Unofficial preview* of my upcoming first produced track named Therapy. Litterly a cut out of the track. Uploaded with first thought of letting it hear to a fellow Looperman member for a possible collab later on.
Comments are welcome tho!
About the preview, after the drop will start to another semi drop and with an harder more rawish main chorus part behind. Everything is as good as done now and being checked by demo listeners for response and feedback before getting a last hand at mixing&mastering.
Description : My first house song (on looperman). It's actually mix of progressive and dutch house. Hope you'll enjoy this! :) If you have time you can leave feedback, it's always appreciated!
Description : Ugly ass witch house beat that isn't technically a house beat. (The Drum Track is by LM's Danke.) The Track's based on an older beat of mine with the same name. This version's half as long & not as busy. The Synths are Synthmaster, Massive, Dark Keys & Creep Piano. And of course, It wouldn't be a Clickbait Cabaret beat without nine zillion FX plugins. Pretty sure all of them are on this beat.
Description : check out janimifsson for these vocals
learning how to do house
good vocal effects
terrible drums
couldnt find a melodic loop to fit the track
figured out the key
the harmony basically matches the melody
probably in some dorian scale or something so
have to learn about that
the drums are my weakest point
good at the start but awful after the beat drop
please comment any songs to listen to to learn drums in this style
any advice please comment
Description : Funk House/Disco inspired by Daft Punk

Various vintage synths
Kontakt libraries: Ilya Efimov Telecaster for guitar, Session Horns Pro, Chris Hein Strings, NI Guitars
Vocals: Plogue Chipspeech & Alter Ego
Description : As I was in Berlin recently I was inspired by the Beachhouse Radio from FluxFM . I had a beat lying in a cupboard for years and it was time to do something with it. Together with the great voice of Odarka I did setup a beat that does have a deep feeling to it. I kept it raw and unmastered for now. Let's see where it goes.

Waddup Patricia? :D

You're the first person to say that you would actually buy something that I've had a hand in creating and has made me smile a LOT lol
Patricia inspired me no end.. And this track wouldn't be half as good without Mahloo's magic ears!
Really glad that this has your stamp of approval - especially given the earlier topic of conversation lol ;D
Thanks a lot Bear :)
WongKi
Very good stuff. Your mix is so smart and this beat is dope !

WongKi
You could always do one of the clubhouse extended keep em on the dance floor a little longer versions!!! :-)
Have you noticed that I went back to the original vocal finale after all that?
It just didn't quite sound as good as it did in my head at the time :/ trial and error as they say..
I wanted to present it to you with an outro and properly mixed and mastered..
But yes! Have we converted you to house with this?? You know it makes sense if you make more pella's in this genre ;)
I agree with you, it does end a bit suddenly... I plan on making a proper outro for the track at some point soon - so all will be well :)
Thanks again!
Wongki
Very well done.

Patricia *does* have a really good voice and the track wouldn't of been possible without the inspiration I got from her vibe :)
Thanks again,
