Description : So this time I decided that I'd ramp up the showcase series I sometimes do. To include loops from other artists & even an acapella. Yeah, this was loads of fun to mix and I'll include the list of folks I used below...
I wanna thank everyone for sharing the above and hope yall enjoy this lil puppy I did. Lates!
PS. Might not wanna start this @ full volume ('specially the subs, coz it's kinda intense, just FYI and all that).

Creative mix m8, I like the vocals, interesting elements!
The only criticism I have is that this track lacks transitions,
you must try to connect a bit better intro, and loops, because you can hear exactly where the loop begins when it ends, there is no transitions ("glue") that will connect that!
Anyway keep up the good work mate, and thank you for using my loop!
Thanks mate. I like coming up with beautifully odd results with my experimentations (namely the Blues vocal pairing well with the D&B/Dance tune). You're drums sound perfect BTW (classic & pure IMO). & another oddity is that they paired well with my bass loops (who knew, haha).
I hear what you're saying about the intro/loops. For the intro/outro, that was my way of faking like this was a part of a larger mix session (going into other songs as if this song were hastily cut/recorded from it). For the loop part, that mostly falls back on intent- since this was my first site *Showcase, I wanted to present the stuff as naked as possible (as a selling point to potential new members). Cuts & effects would've masked the pure beauty of the original sample me thinks. I've changed this stance with my subsequent "site mixes". Though, truth be told, this is still my current favorite out of the 5 I've done so far (the one with Steklo comes in right behind it), Anywho, nuff gabbin outta me. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
listened to this one with headphones DV...very nice technique on the mix...like the way you moved things around...(notable the bass part in that last section)....very cool...enjoyed this one...Ed
Yeah, since I did the Dreams 2 Dream cover I've been wanting to fool with doing different approaches to the way I arrange the loops in the mix (diff pairings or fades/drops). That bass part at the end was done for that. It was also good to have 'em stand alone for a moment since the drum & bass patterns were kinda similar to one another (the bass was almost like an echo in some parts). Anyways, I'm glad ya dug it mate. Later on!
Yeah, it was odd how that 'pella worked out. Fluke luck I suppose, because when I imported it into the project it just seemed to fit almost perfectly in raw form. Didn't need to do much to it beyond a slight re-sample of the tempo and slicing it up to fit the loop spacing. The bass was another oddity, in that I had originally figured that they'd be better suited for another genre/style (why I put 'em in the R&B section). Anywho, I'm glad ya dug this mate. Later on!
Haha, pretty cool mate. It is a bit dif, aint it? I think that's thanks to Paulkeus' pella (just has a sci-fi vibe to it, ya know?). Thanks for stoppin by. Later on!
Hey was up bruv? Yeah, things're goin cool. Just graduated with 3 associate degrees last year. Now I'm workin towards a bachelors. Don't mix as often as I use to (decided that I'd shift focus towards my academics, tryin to join the honor society). At the mo' my main goal, musically, is to make more loops for the site.
So how 'bout you, what all's been goin on 'round yer way? Been able to do any more mixing? School, work?? Lemme know sometime, cool? Nice to see ya poppin in my man. Try not to stay gone so long next time, ay? Later on!

Description : Chaos....Chaos ensues when life is unfolding in many different ways all around you. A demand here, a demand there, do this, do that, things going wonky or all happening at the same time. It's overwhelm but it's excitement, it's crazy but it's also very real. Description : In 2015 I made a dubstep track called Labyrinth Of The Absurd. This is part 2. Check out part 1 if you haven't yet. This is a Dark D-n-B. Or whatever.
I used Serum, Massive, Sylenth1. I used no presets, and no prefabricated loops. This is all original content from scratch. The only exception being the vocal samples.
Description : Ambient breaking into dnb I guess. All loops (except for 1 synth by my 7 yo daughter) so I can’t take much credit for this. Free demo loops from Loopmasters and LM loops from:

Description : 170 BPM drum 'n' cell epic. That's drum 'n' bass with lots of my layered, lead cello playing. It's both banging and chilled out, with intricate basslines and soaring, melodic cello parts. Instruments: electric cello, piano, three synth basses, two synth pads. Drums are loads of drum loops supported by a few programmed acoustic drum kits. It's fast and powerful stuff but there are also two deep grooving half tempo sections. No guitar so anything that sounds like it might be is, unsurprisingly, cello. This was fairly hard to make and required a lot of hard work. It's still far from perfect, especially the rather abrupt, unimaginative ending (I couldn't think of anything better). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Not much drum 'n' cell about so I like to think this is worth checking out...

Description : So ive been listening to alot of dnb lately, and i decided to try my hand at it. It turned out to be alittle more chillout than I wanted it to be, but I still like how it turned out.
A ambient type of DnB track, one to make you think, Second attempt at the DnB genre for this year, again apologise to Drum and Bass artist, guessing again not your normal DnB.Used flute Rhodes Piano, and a few other bits to hopefully get the feeling for the piece I wanted, along with a few break beats/bass lines and FX etc...
Please comment/review and the favour will be returned...
