Liking your D&B tracks is becoming a bit of a habit. Everytime I listen to one it's just excellent from start to finish. Your productions have really come on in leaps and bounds and I can't think of anything negative to say unless I go off on another tangent about david bowies latest release.
Anyway, nuff said.
This tracks a steamer!

lol man. Thanks for the love. haven't been producing much lately, but your comments and feedback are much appreciated. Gonna take some time out and work with sounds again.

CSAF 4th Jan 2012 17:55 - 14 years ago

reminds me of the good old raves, remember when hardcore techno and jungle were fresh? Yes these sounds are old but welll made and used.

dv8 replied 21st Jun 2013 - 13 years ago

Yeah that was the best of times. Such good memories from those days. Thanks a lot for the love mate. Cheers

simmerdown 16th Aug 2011 15:27 - 15 years ago

cant improve on whats been said, youdaman. prob the highest production standard ive heard of yours, beauty cut dv8...arrangement is sooo good, wow...-dbl-

dv8 replied 21st Jun 2013 - 13 years ago

hi there mate! Man I remember working on this track, I had so much more creativity back then. Gotta smoke a spliff and put my head down to music once again. Thanks a lot bruh!

NoDrama 29th May 2011 15:37 - 15 years ago

Excellent work here mate.

Proper roller, advanced melody technique at work here.

There is one fx / vox stab that is tape delayed and rolls off for about 9 bars, gives me them chills man!

dv8 replied 21st Jun 2013 - 13 years ago

Thanks NoDrama, appreciate it friend.

sn76 28th Apr 2011 14:29 - 15 years ago

Be proud of this track DV8, it's so uplifting and well produced, everything's just how it should be , you've nailed the liquid sound... I'd get this one out there , it's that good ... Faved.

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

damn you guys just playing with me or what? Heh no matter though, I'm doing what I can with what I can to get it "out there". Can't play live here coz no one listens to drum & bass where I live.

So yeah, thanks for the encouragement and a very cool review. Stay cool bro!

Tsg 28th Apr 2011 06:06 - 15 years ago

Omg!! DNB is what I came here for. Yo dv8 u the man sounding like some Calibre or Ltj Bukem

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

ddaaaamn bro. Calibre for real? Cheers man, I've always loved his tracks. No real surprise if I'm walking in the same direction. Saw the dude play live a couple times, and his way of controlling the crowd is pretty subtle and deadly at the same time. While DjHype has to shout all the time to get the crowd going, calibre just goes along and enjoys the music, and the crowd sees that and they go crazy for it. I don't really know why I just wrote all that. Anyway, cheers bro!

n0mad23 27th Apr 2011 21:59 - 15 years ago

I'm now wondering if Liquid Massive DnB is by nature a form of Fusion, or if it's just you?

Can't play this one loud enough currently.

Faved and dl-ed. A 320 for me too please!

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

n0mad! Man I told you I was coming back to the loop didn't I? I thought I'd bring a track as a "whats up guys" present kinda thing. Like, I've been away from home too long.

Hope you got the mp3 by now, and thanks for the words and the fav man, always means alot!

undertheinfluence 27th Apr 2011 20:59 - 15 years ago

beautiful melodies flowin through the drums its electric wen loud good job mate !

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

I'm with you 100% man. It's sposed to be played at "wanna go deaf?" volumes. You only get to hear the different layers of pads and ambient textures if you turn it up. And, ofcourse, the bass is wicked at that volume! ;)

Why have i never paid attention to liquid dnb before?? Can't fault this tune at all. Faved!

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Dude Liquid drum & bass is the ballz. Calibre, High Contrast, S.P.Y, most of the Hospital Records crew, they're all to be checked out ASAP! Thanks alot for the words and the fav man, glad you love it!

Spivkurl 27th Apr 2011 19:45 - 15 years ago

Love the melodic nature of this one! It's very soothing! Great choice of sounds in this mix! Lots of movement to the rhythm! Excellent arrangement to my ears! Nice one! Faved for sure!

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

hey dude been a while! Thanks for the support man, really glad you like it. Always a treat hearing from you. Let me know about a 320 mp3, I'll mail you one. Cheers bro!

DjTimeBender 27th Apr 2011 18:32 - 15 years ago

the first note instantly took me to a new place. props on structure/composition there. it has a mood of its own. vocal sample takes me back to the late 80s/early 90's for some reason, but in a good way.it's fine how it is, in fact it's great how it is.... but it would be SICK if there was a break, and then it got really dnb dirty with a heavy bass and driving melody to finish out the track. maybe the last minute or so.

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks man, I'm glad you appreciate the finer aspects. Vocal sample is a bit of a mystery innit? :P

Cheers mate, I'll keep your suggestions in mind. Stay tuned bro.

StephenPotter 27th Apr 2011 18:03 - 15 years ago

YAY! New Dv8 song! And its awesome!

Great piano at the start, great bunch of fx. Fantastic drums, excellent synthwork. Nice bass too. Great buildup of sounds and a great atmosphere.

Nothing bad to say on this one, excellent work!

Fav'd.

Mind sending a 320 my way too?

Ste ;D

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Hehe yeah it's been a while since I uploaded anything fresh here. I thought this should about do the trick, and I'm looking at the favs and thinking yeah, it did!

Thanks alot man, it's pretty simple really, just lots of pads, lots of synth one hits, a cool bassline and a brilliant personality hah!

Thanks for the words and the fav mate, means alot. You'll have the mp3 by now, hope you make it viral!

ultrabase 27th Apr 2011 17:10 - 15 years ago

dv8 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago
