TNX 4 THE ACAPELLA! ;D
https://soundcloud.com/elmeri-seljas/machines-ft-flowstone
Description:
My new track that kind of is a part of the earlier track: "Monster ( Ft. WithoutMyArmor )" .
The track has a ´pella from Looperman. This time it is an acapella from Flowstone called "I Am A Machine" .
Please do comment, like and tell me what you like of the track! (and of course I can take some building criticism too!) :D
Props on the "I Am A Machine" acapella. It reminds me a little bit of Maynard from Tool/APC/Puscifer (that's a very good thing).
Anyway, I've been recording off and on for about 10 years; I started with punk, then industrial/rock, and then progressed to hip-hop some years later.
Recently, I decided to sit down and put out a full 6 song demo EP, just for fun - some instrumentals, some vocals, and a hip-hop verse here and there, in a electro/house/industrial shell. Lots of fun.
Anyway, you can hear what I did with your sample at:

Don't worry about the link-title, you're properly credited on the Soundcloud page (and filename). It's kind of weird - I'm using my hip-hop handle account (Terminus Vex) on Soundcloud, but the new EP is being published under my 10-year-old, recording-only band name (Ex Libris Deus), as part of the "Critical Zero" EP. Kind of a lot to keep track of. Once the EP is done, I think I need to split Ex Libris Deus off onto it's own account to avoid confusion (mostly mine). That's why I credited both of us in the title.
I'm sure I could have just dropped a link here to satisfy your request that you be made aware of how your acapellas were being used, but I thought it might be a little more personable to give you some background.
Anyway, cheers. If you have anything else that you think would work well with the style that I've started evolving, please let me know. This sample was a perfect fit (IMHO) as a counterpoint to my less-talented, more aggressive vocals.
