Description : A rock song about gambling.

Description : A song about a gunslinger and his gun. Got the idea from a line in a Minutemen song. Rock/folk/country/pop. Acoustic git, harmonica, egg shaker, bass, EZ Drummer and a few singing tracks.

Description : I'm singing and playing the bass guitar, all the rest are loops and effects from Ableton, Adobe and Novation packs that I found on my computer. A passionate plea to get vaccinated so we can end this covid nightmare. Didn't spend much time on this and not sure what genre this is, post punk maybe.

Description : 2 acoustic guitar tracks, piano and a tambo. Sorta chill out/pop. Started out with singing and drums but ended up an instrumental instead.

Description : My cover of a song from the movie Walk Hard, the Dewey Cox Story.

Description : A quick idea I did in one day, 2 mixes, more an exercise for myself than anything serious. Inspirations were a Peter Tosh docu for the reggae feel, a surfing vid on what a point break was for the vox, the Ace of Bass vid The Sign for the drums and Jaco Pastorius song Crisis for a bit of inspirational bass thrown in. 2 drum loops used and a vocal effect loop for the heck of it in the middle, he. Live percussion, cabasa, guiro and double maraca. Me on git, bass, vox. Here comes Summer!

Description : My version of the 1979 British alternative rock song by Lene Lovich featuring the guitar talents of Jimmy Stiles again. When I told him I was putting it together he was totally interested in playing on this. It's different, definitely harder than the original. A strat through a Fender DeVille with some reverb. EZ Drummer, me on bass, vocals and lead tambourine. A fun song and great lyrics and only 2 chords, what could be better!

Description : A song about a train, Jimmy on guitar and his life long friend Billy experimenting with an old Kalamazoo lap steel, a late addition. Fender Tele through a Fender Princeton. I attribute two train loops by Daniel Simion at Soundbible. The third train sound is a guitar loop with effects. I play the bass, sing, acoustic guitar, wrote, arranged and mixed it. Might have the singer in Jim's bluegrass band redo the vox at some point.

Description : Jim plays his own version of the Link Wray classic Switchblade. I believed he used an Epiphone ES 335 Pro, custom setup, through an old Fender reverb tank, a few pedals(a Rat and a tremolo i can't recall the name of) into an old Fender Princeton. It's definitely harder and heavier than the original. I did the bass and arrangement, mixing. This one goes out to vigwig, hey Vic!

Description : Decided to write this one about what is happening politically in America as it's a strange and worrying time in my country's history.

Description : There's nothing like living near the ocean but the water can be dangerous, too.

Tags : | Acoustic | 6.19 MB

Description : I put this under acoustic even though I did use a couple midi tracks. I felt they sounded acoustic enough to put the track in that category. Suppose it could be chill out as well, however you want to label it, do so. I used an Indian flute and an electric guitar sounding plugin with some tremolo added along with acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Nothing too complicated here and I felt it sounded good enough to upload so enjoy!

Description : I would call this bull fighting music, rock is the closest thing for genre. I used a handful of percussion loops made by planetjazzbass and a special thanks to Thethanx for the custom harmonica tracks, thanks guys!! I added a few cymbal hits, tambourine and a vibraslap to a couple acoustic tracks and a bass track.

Tags : | Blues | 3.90 MB

Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.

Tags : | Samba | 2.62 MB

Description : I wanted to upload the drums and bass alone as a song because it just sounded great but I waited to lay down a few acoustic tracks, a mandolin track and some classical guitar on this. Added some percussion. Latin feel, think Miami, sexy, hot... It is short but sweet.

Tags : | Acoustic | 2.81 MB

Description : "Spaghetti Western" feel to this. I played the acoustic like a mando, with the fast strumming. I updated this by remixing and mastering. It really needed it and I think it sounds much better.

Tags : | Folk | 5.98 MB

Description : Wrote it on a relaxing Sunday morning. Acoustic guitar rhythm with an acoustic lead, bass and guiro. Updated: removed some percussion, remixed and mastered.

Tags : | Classical | 6.55 MB

Description : This is my very first attempt at doing a song using all Audition loops. I tried a classical song only because I've never been able to do this genre before. It builds up as it goes but for the most part it is a fairly relaxing song. Updated: remixed and remastered

Description : An 80's punk song. Vocals inspired by the late Jim Carroll, author, poet, punk rocker. Updated- remixed and did some mastering, March 2020. Sounds a bit better.
