Description : This is my very first attempt at doing a song using all Audition loops. I tried a classical song only because I've never been able to do this genre before. It builds up as it goes but for the most part it is a fairly relaxing song. Updated: remixed and remastered

This is a pleasant listening journey! Very good use of loops, seamless composition! Nice build up in emotion! Good stuff my friend!

Thanks for listening in Pat! This one is an early attempt at using loops. I guess the loops speak for themselves but it was fun to put it together.

    Cheers!

It's fun to go back and listen to some of your older tunes, and this one is especially nice since it is the season :)

Absolutely beautifully constructed and orchestrated. It shows your compositional skills off nicely. A great tune to listen to with my hot chocolate tonight. Happy holidays Wayne. I hope all is well.

Hey Bear, Happy Holidays! One of my first attempt at using loops and is one of my most dl'd song.??? haha, oh well.

The beach has been fun and I've made many friends and met a bunch of musicians down here. It was 80 degrees the other day and this morn it's 38. brrrrrr, lol! In the 70's almost every day, not bad for winter weather and no shoveling snow!!

    Thanks and take care Grandpa!

    Play 2 now...

Well, I'd say that you achieved yer goal rather nicely here. I could see this being used for a jewelry ad or luxury car commercial. And I dunno why, but this kept making me wanna sing along to it. Then I remembered that car scene in Scary Movie 2 and then the song started reminding me of that one Vitamin C tune from about 10 years ago. Which prolly explains the singing along part, haha. Only tech-side thing I could suggest is if those mini-piano loops were done in midi to switch 'em out to a grand for certain parts (to help give 'em a richer quality, ya know). Otherwise, this was pretty nicely done. Cheers!

These were all Audition loops that came with the software. Sounds like Canon loops, fun to put together, hadn't used loops much when I did this. It has a nice holiday feel to it.

    Happy Holidays Donnie!

Thanks for listening and the review.

The piano is an Audobe Audition loop, it came with my software when I purchased Audition 3. I have no idea where it is, I can look to find it. Contact me and I'll send it as soon as I find it.

Very soothing Humps.Like you, most of my tracks use only limited loops, and i find it a bit tricky to use loops exclusively on a track, so wanted to say a job well done.
I played this one while I was doing a bit of my day-job work. emotional evocation coming through nicely.
Perhaps you'll need to do more in the genre...
    I'll keep watch

Thanks. I know it's a pretty simple song but it was very different using samples rather than recording all the instruments and dealing with all the issues of live recorded tracks. It was fun to do.

    Reply by theHumps

Thanks jfw. It's kinda simple but it came out ok.

I just got new recording software, installed it and it won't start up and keeps crashing. Until tech support figures it out I tried to drag and drop the wav file samples into my old software and it worked. At least I have something to use thats different. Oh well.....

Description : Hi, I just had to try and do my own type of music tribute to the sad and unfortunate events in Manchester the other night

I start the song off with a type of music box to represent like a young child and then i go into a violin strings to try and set the sadness and then after a while i used some soft drum and clicks to represent time ticking and then with just the piano and then in the middle of the track it picks up pace a bit and i decided on this because to represent the strength of the people that will stand strong and i once again also put the music box in with this and my reason was to be strong for the rest of the children and then i finsh up with the piano again and the ending on the drum to remember the lives sadly lost and a type of silence if it were

i really feel so sadened by this event and it trully has me in bits

may we all come together and forever be strong and stand up to these horrible people who think they can destroy us and our children and families and loved ones

God Bless you all and stay safe and be strong

Description : Simple piano solo I wrote last weekend at about 3am! It's just using the default Garageband piano instrument with some reverb. Played on my M-Audio Keystation 61es in one take - yes I could have tidied it up bit its more honest leaving it as is.

I plan to create an orchestral version of this soon. Anyone got ideas to collaborate and do something interesting with this then get in touch.
