Description : I took out the drum loop in favour of my real-time drumming as the rhythm for this 3rd remix sort of R & B/rock ballad tune. electric piano, fretless base and strings vst make up the backing then I've added electro acoustic then solid body electric as a lead part coming in about halfway. If any of you loopers have any vocal ideas I can send you a wav file with the guitar part reduced or changed.....

Description : Used 2 acoustic guitars for this folk tune. Folk guitar for the rhythm and classical for the lead part. I kept playing this tune whenever I practised and it kind of gives me the impression of being on a long journey.....

Description : Picked up my sons 3/4 student classical guitar and jammed out this flamencoish tune as you would with the finger only style (no pick). Thing is in the mega-fast bits I shredded my finger ends somewhat !!! It's not pure Flamenco as its got a syncopated beat in places which pushes it towards a latin feel. Added a 2nd lead track with the same guitar but could not find my Castanets....so it was the good old bongos for a bit o'rhythm. Its a bit heavy sounding because of the mike, but it was a blast playing this one.

Description : I get wayy too busy and It's nice to sit and play guitar and come up with an instant tune which is what I did here. Sounds a bit frenetic in places but then so do I...

Description : Still doodling with newly found FREE VST's and put this track together based on a really slick jazz beat loop (sorry can't remember who did this) but its 305785-22522 100 Jazz A01 is the ref number. If you recognise it as being yours then pls make a comment on my track, many, many thanks for your loop !! Again used Yannleo VST for piano, DVS saxophone and the 4-Front Base VSt. Its got a sort of sad feel to it but my idea was these guys started Jammin at the Jazz club......

Description : I've been searching extensively for good VST's and think I have a few here on this track worthy of a mention, The Piano is from "Yannleo". Strings are "matnitron" and the strange synth sounds on a synth known as "Wollo Fmera2". All freebies. A Piano based classical doodle.

Description : Long time not in the land of loops, been in the land of tutoring/practising and life...here's a rock/funk track I did a while ago but had too many glitches in it so after many hours of smoothing down came up with this..

Description : I downloaded loopeytunes "Blue is blue" as a good Rhythm and blues beat and jammed out a piano riff with added crunchy lead guitar and base line. Goes on a bit but my point of view I enjoyed the jam....hope U do 2.

Description : Found a nice VST piano sound (True Pianos) and jammed out this tune while keeping record button on. and then put electro-acoustic guitar over it. Unreahearsed and flits in and out of a few different styles, thats why I've put it in fusion. Feel frue to add/chop/splice. Would be nice to hear some nice drumming added, brushes maybe....?

Description : I've had this tune on piano for a long time but never gave it a title, also wanted to add a classical guitar part. but my set-up does not record classical guitar the way I would like so I used solid body electric. The melody always brings thoughts of being appreciative of things we sometimes miss or take for granted. hence title "winter sunset"

Description : Unplugged sound using Acoustic Guitar Rhythm track with support lead track and an african "talking" drum track (looks like an egg-timer & has variable pitch)....what this track needs is a good expressive vocal on it...any vocalists who would like to add their lyrics to this track feel free to do so and put it onto your profile/track. just let me know what you're doing

Description : Originally titled "soul in the night". mainly because it was written in the early hours when in reflective mood. The piano chords went into this slow rhythm, Definately got the blues edge but there is this other ingredient which I find hard to pigeon-hole exactly what genre it should be in (slow dance maybe) so I've put it in FUSION. Feel free to collab on this (add percussion/pads/saxophone) chop it/splice it/filter it/ but all I ask iks you let me hear it first & send direct to me on my music e-mail = Danielgtrman@yahoo.co.uk

Description : 3 Acoustic guitars = 1 plays folky style chords. 1 plays melody. 1 plays harmony. All tracks recorded one after the other. No harmoniser used putting this fav christmas song together. the clicks and pops are an EQ/soundcard problem not a sound level one and I do apologise for these annoying little blips. esp the big one towards the end of the track. That aside I enjoyed playing this one and hope you will enjoy giving it a listen...

Description : Back with this track and the 2 electro-acoustic guitars: looking in the distance you think you might have seen something but it's only ever a slight movement in the trees, a noise that you don't recognise..or just a vivid imagination. Thats the idea behind this short tune.....bigfoot ? where are you??? (making tracks on looperman I guess!!)

Description : Imagine if you will looking at the Martian landscape. Strange terrain and colours. That's the idea behind this ad-lib tune with 2 synths adding string/pad/ backing and electric guitar adding a blues/rock lead.

Description : ..been trying to get my head around my new software (Cubase Essential 4) and for me its a dreaded learning curve.. I got this idea with 2 guitars and piano and managed to mix it down all be it to a very quiet track. hope you like this one as I enjoyed playing it.

Description : I sent Jan (Aidens Trance) a guitar based tune to a trance beat, as I know he is an amazing producer of that genre of music. This track is his hard work to my tune and in my opinion its gone up several levels from the idea I had.
25th Jul 2009 09:21 - 16 years ago
Description : This is new for me on a few counts, no guitars for starters !!+ new software for my keyboard, and tried this piano sound then added a cello. It's my first dive into classical with a few glitches. It's got a way to go before it gets to a polished production. but I like the tune and thought I'd post it here on loopsland...

Description : I found this nifty drum loop here on loopsville, sort of drum machine/dance sound and built this whole instrumental around that. I put this track in Rock, but it has other infuences in it. bit of blues and dance maybe. not sure if this works but its rock experiment No.3

Description : When somethings good, very good..and starts going wrong and gets far worse than you ever imagined. Then you got some idea behind the inspiration to this jam. 2 electric guitars, ends up with a very sad chord progression going quieter. If you're in a good mood then perhaps you ought not to listen to this....I gave articulation to my emotions in this track and was going to call it "left in sadness".....so into blues it must go.

Description : Bit of a rock blast on PC. I used to listen to what many used to call "motorway music". - Rock tracks you could get into while you ate up the miles. This tune is inspired by that thought in my car one day on a long journey. GO FOR IT !!

Description : 2 electric solid body guitars on this track. I love the springtime when all the new growth is coming through. Particularly when the colours of yellow, red, pink emerge. It's a season of new beginnings in many ways. That's the inspiration behind this tune. New Colours Emerging...

Description : A synth string sort of classical backdrop with electric solid body guitar supplying the lead - If you've ever seen a stretch of water after a storm, the serene stillness is the inspiration to this track.
