Description : I wanted to wait to post this, but here's some music that's more hyped up, energetic, and fun. This is my official lead single to an upcoming album I'll release probably in the summer. This song was worked on SOO hard and is much more professional than my first singles and songs from my debut album "Newstalgia", so please give it a listen. The vocals are mixed to the best standard they can be, the song was mastered professionally, and I even sampled a few loops from Cameo's "Rigor Mortis", hence the name Back 2 tha Roots. Since this is my official single, it's available everywhere including itunes, google play, spotify, etc. Please support a brotha lol! And as always, let me know what you think! Any advice or compliments are appreciated:)!
PS if you want to add annotations to my songs on GENIUS go ahead!

Description : Hello, I consider this track as one of my best. This lovely but obliviously creepy music is for inside Rex Darkenum the demonic castle. I wanted something very different for my favorite "element" hehe. I think I did it pretty well. As you may or may not know this music will is part of a rpg video game. I let you discover this music but I before I want to add a fun fact; the darkness or shadow have 2 "faces" for me. The first is menacing fast paced like you feel you gonna be hunted by a beast. Rex Darkenum Battle have this face. The second one is more calm, ambient discrete but omnipresent. This one represent this face. Any comment are welcome.

Description : My salute to James Jamerson, one of the most influential bass players in modern music, he played unaccredited on dozens and dozens of Motown number one hits and as a kid I loved that music and still do. The secret to JJ's tone is quite simple, a Fender Precision bass, flatwound strings and a foam mute.....and last but not least learning how to play with feel.

Description : Trying to compete in the infamous (and unfortunate) Loudnes War, but my mixdown just doesn't seem to be up to par yet - leading me to hit my limiter too hard, waveform resembles a brick more than I would like, but, here it is. Enjoy!

Description : Welcome to the Dream is another small piece and expansion to the overall musical narrative I established in The Moments That Take Your Breath Away. This song symbolizes escape from reality into the dream. The dream is different for everyone. For some it could be a hobby they enjoy, for others it could be drinking and drugs. Though different at first glance, they all follow an idea of escapism, and I believe its present in every person.
Hopefully, the ideas I want to explore will become more concrete as my journey as an artist continues and I can build upon this concept.
The song itself is a combination of festival trap and future bass, emotional melodic sections coupled with other sections with high energy. I plan on getting vocals for the song, but the people Ive contacted have yet to reply, so fingers crossed.
I may possibly do a re-imagining of the track, approaching the way it sounds differently, giving it a more unique feel while still keeping the emotional core of the track.
Any and all criticism is encouraged and appreciated.

Description : Supposed to be Deep House, but turned to mainstream House at the drop :). The music is supposed to imitate the sound of rain, hence the overflow of plucks, glides and spikes. If anybody feels like supplying this track some vocals, which would be awesome, please leave a comment so that I can message you. Also tell me what you think of it, any form of feedback is always appreciated!

Description : Was trying out my new Fender electric guitar that was so generously given to me as a Christmas present from my oldest brother, and instantly fell in love with the tone! So much so that it inspired an entire night's worth of music. Instruments at work: Drums, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar (x3), Acoustic Guitar, Pad, Tambourine. The bass is real this time (played by yours truly, pardon my amateur bass skills)!I hope you enjoy!

Description : I may have mentioned to a few people that I had recorded an EP to cassette tape in November. The thirty minute, seven track tape was recorded on 14th and 15th November (during that excellent full moon). My process, this time, involved choosing a group of instruments from my main studio, and then interfacing them in a way that allowed me to perform a spontaneous track live. There was no planning, and each track was only given attention until the previous was lain on tape. All in all, it was a very rewarding experience to create "on a whim" like this. No DAW was used to create the sounds, or to perform/arrange them. All instruments were mixed in real time, and the output was forever dedicated to the magnetic medium. All of these songs were instrumental, and not traditional in their performance. This is a digital capture of two songs from the EP - "Agonist Moon" and "Faultline" - They are the last track of Side A and the first track of Side B. If you are not familiar with those terms... they indicate the direct physical and psychological experience of interacting with recorded media in order to play it in it's entirety. "Agonist Moon" was described by my wife as an "Icaro," which is a tribal shamans healing song in certain cultures. "Faultline" is more of a peak minimal technological shift into the rest of the EP. UPDATE - The entire Agonist Moon EP digital re-master is now available here... https://spivkurl.bandcamp.com/album/agonist-moon-ep
