Description : I created this for a piece of art called New Earth. I made 2 versions 1 had an all string intro and this one. I just went ahead and had fun with this one. If you like it please vote for the song and painting.

Amazing. That intro just keeps building and the harmonics converging to create that dark sinister sound, and yet with some hope. 2:09 reminds me of a drum effect Ultravox used on there song Vienna. Then 3 mins on just chaos in a great way. Super Creative and supremely executed. More intense then Carl Orff´s Carmina Burina. 4:40 lovely string and choral coda. my only wish is that you ended it on a major chord instead of what I thought you would do with a minor chord, but then you decided to make a dissonant chord with a vocal SFX end. Tricked me ehh? I can´t say enough about this one my friend, outstanding work.

I am hugely grateful for your entry of this track into the winter composers contest, Roland. It is very strong with the painting. I have a feeling it is not obvious how to vote because for sure you should be getting more votes. For anyone reading, the vote is by hitting the thumbs up next to FAV!

Yeah, this works for a great cinematic piece. The part that starts about 3 minutes in reminded me of Star Wars/John Williams sounding music. Dramatic composition, hi's and lows, great dynamics throughout!

I liked the subtle intro, mysterious and positive feeling. Then there is a cool transition to a more ominous/darker feeling. The song builds really well and ends as it should with a more peaceful respite. Well done!

thank you. the star wars comment is huge. john williams music is so iconic, star wars, jaws, harry potter. also when I did the voice over "you cant stop this" and played it back it did sound like kyle lorin. (spelling?)

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
