This was one of the tracks I heard a couple of days ago on soundcloud from you, I enjoyed it back then and now still

Funny though since I was listening it and just laying back then was like who is the one who produced this and saw your name haha. The mixture of sounds you use are mostly highly unusual and so in here, it is one of the things that separates you from the other artists but I mentioned that before

Thanks for making this and I hope to see more like this tune

I really appreciate that attention on here and soundcloud, what is music without listeners? It's good to know you think my sounds are unusual, as I do strive for an individual sound. I would never have come this far as an artist, and I may not even be alive, if it weren't for Looperman and the people I've met here, including you of course! Thank you very much!

Hearing your description I should definitely pay the Swedish nightlife a visit, seems really fun haha

Further track isn't really my type of music but it sounds pretty fun. Guess some others here can give a more detailed review on your track

Thanks for sharing

on Hypnotic Larry Wiggles aka Mark Jeffries by larrywiggles1
hey mark,
Stumbling across this track and this beat has totally got me
haha, but seriously though nice job these acid punchy basses sounded pretty cool though they both sounded a bit off like they should be timed a little different

Further the subtle use of the sitar and the strings on the background make up for a nice arrangement of different sounds.
I don't know for sure though if it's a sitar or not

thanks for sharing this with us

and keep them coming ;)

Hi JP,

Thanks for stopping and listening, and yes there a few bits that I would change if I was remixing or mastering again, but really pleased you liked. It is indeed a sampled and messed about with Sitar. Thanks again for your valued comments.

Best wishes,

Mark/Larry!

on Eyesand by Cyberliam
Nice use of the Arabic sounds, I haven't heard any of those lately and it's nice to hear some of these again, makes the track original for me ;)

Then fading over to that guitar was quiet interesting to hear, it gives the track a new swirl in another direction.

Deserves a favorite of mine, it's a very nice arrangement of sounds and I like how you mixed everything well

I didn't hear of dream man yet I believe, or maybe I have
After checking he seems to be from the cold war or at least dressed like that, maybe involve some of that in your song ^^

Anyways it's cool to hear that you base your album on the game

Best of luck with the final production

on Lies Original Mix by L0neW0lf
Could you explain me what's up with the youtube upload that jaketer985 pointed out?

Still a little skeptical but I feel like you tell the truth
so I would say you made one awesome track, it hits so hard and the soundcloud upload sounds way better luckily without the distortion

I wonder how you managed to create these sounds, they are indeed datsik level like Cyberliam said ;)

Hope you make some more like this

Well, about a year ago Rankin Audio, a sample label btw, released an Ableton remix template, we both bought it apparently, so it's a bit tough to explain that given the template is royalty-free and all…… :/

on Night rain by Anubis
It's cool how you created the ambience of rain, it is very vivid. And it fits with the current weather I am experiencing here.
Further though it is simplistic it still manages to sound interesting which is something not anyone manages to do.

Thanks for sharing it with us and keep them coming ;)

sorry late reply

Your words here are appreciated.

this piece is really simple, but the important thing is feeling that music is able to create, an imagination, a thought, this is something very interesting.

Thank you again
best wishes.

on Track 50 by FreeRadical
That vocals sample that says "I'll give you pleasure" is it from the basic FL studio stuff?
I found one sounding almost exactly similar hahaha

must say it sounds pretty damn cool, I like the transitions to the new parts and it makes it interesting to listen to it. It's a nice minimix of songs, thanks for sharing it with us FreeRadical ;)
FreeRadical
FreeRadical replied 8th May 2014 - 11 years ago
Yeah there is a free sample that says that but i got it from the image line vocal samples pack. Been spending lots of dollar on pro stuff just lateley in the hope i can make better tunes. Just splashed out again on Magix music maker because i like the stuff that BrillBilly does (and it comes with a USB keyboard which is great because i'm bored with having to draw everything in)
Anyway i'm waffling so i'll just finish by saying thanks for checking out my mini mix and leaving your thoughts.

the drop hits hard, I might be nice to add in some extra melodic parts there though but further nice job on it

on Kyle Gentles- Tower by KooLKYLE
Nice, I like how that bass kicks in after the intro and hits hard. Then you have the sort of drip drop sounds panned to the left and right which reminds me of something funny, partying in a cave with the water dropping down hahaha

I don't have much feedback on it, not something that pops up in my mind at least
if there is something then it would be panning some of the drum elements, but since it's a loop it's not really going to work I think

thanks for sharing with us

Got some distortion going on, suggest you take a look at that.

For if it's stolen or not I will just await that outcome, but I hope not...

on It Was Written by YungWillCPR
Sounds great.
Really nice job on the vocals, you got a thing for those ;)
The drum sounds a little weird to me though, maybe a little too much of a distortion for me. Possibly you could add in some low end for the drum

thanks for sharing and I will keep an eye out for new tracks
YungWillCPR
YungWillCPR replied 7th May 2014 - 11 years ago
Hey Johhny...Thanks a lot man for listening and giving me this great feedback. Oh the drum I used has a bit of distortion yeah..It was an idea to make t like that..but i get what u saying maybe yeah tweak the low end a little bit. I deeply appreciate.

Nice track man, I like DnB already and this fits in pretty nicely ;)

I don't know if you messed with the vocals further but they fit in great so that's nice.

FreeRadical
FreeRadical replied 29th Apr 2014 - 11 years ago
Thanks man. I put the vocals through the fruity slicer and then just messed them all up.

I meant to ask you what you use to make your tracks with? You seem to have a collection of excellent sounds that i don't have in my collection so i'm guessing you don't use FL?

But that's off topic so i'll just say thanks again for leaving comments. I reckon you're one of the best dance producers on this site so that makes it that little bit more special.

I recognize the intro vocals haha nice

About the track itself, I think you could make the kick a bit deeper sounding/ heavier, I think that would do good for the track.

on Dub Message prod by Dubstruction by SubFreq
Well there is one thing that bothers me in this track and that is that it features little to no transition. It feels like the remix is just your track where a piece is cut out and replaced by a dubstep drop.

Though I appreciate all work that comes with trying something like that, it is really something that could use some work.

Hope you don't take it as an offense and hope that it is helpful instead. ( I know it's a remix not from you but from dubstruction) So it's more aimed to him.

Had to listen it when I saw your name and have no regrets ;)
It's a really nice tune and the combination of sounds is just great. I like that percussion panned so it kinda feels like it floats in front of you, it's a really awesome effect.
certainly an illusion haha

on Sik Style - Emotions in time by SikStyle1
I like the piano into it but it is of course a very simple piece that loops the whole time. This song has everything for the hip hop genre so I think you did very well on it.
The lyrics are cool too, from the part of "time" it kinda reminded me of linkin park with that voice, Don't know why but it did haha

Thanks for sharing and great to hear that you are so successful

on Weapons Of Mastication by Evisma
Great job evan, I like how everything goes together and normally I don't hear many rock tracks with the sax so that's kinda interesting. Some parts feel more like hard rock to me which is cool and I like it ;)
I have one question, is the guitar something you played or not ( I don't mean the bass guitar I mean the other) or maybe there is only a bass guitar and I just mistake it for more then 1 guitar haha.
If not then where did the sound come from since I like it very much ;d

Hope to hear more of this and thanks for sharing
Evisma
Evisma replied 17th Apr 2014 - 11 years ago
I'm glad you like this track, it's one of my favorites.

There is no six-string being played, everything is with the bass. I've made settings on my pedal that give me a higher feel without actually doing any pitch-shifting. No octave pedal or anything, I just made sure to buy a bass with 24 frets, so I can double the low stuff an octave higher while using the same strings, or use the high 12 frets for lead stuff.

I will always say whether or not I've used the guitar. It's a left handed fender squier so it's a bitch to use, so when I do, I'm kinda proud. Used it in "Four String Clover" and it sounds like crap. I just try to make the bass do it all since it's so versatile.

Evan
