I agree, love the feedback we're getting on this! This isn't full drum n bass but it still fits the genre. The genre isn't as important as the kind of feeling the track brings to you. As long as people like it, that's all that really matters :)!
I like the beat itself, do have the feeling that the overall mixdown of the song leaves room for slight improvements, basskick seems to dent in the beat a bit but nothing to really worry about
Also fun thing to do in this one might be to stereorize some of the stuff so they have a slight panning and add too a more dynamic feel
Cheers man, I wasn't sure about uploading this as i'm using the crappest pair of speakers in the world.
Cheers for dropping by and leaving your thoughts.

I hadn't heard a combination of classic with the trance in it but this is so nice, it is relaxing in some way to me
The mixing seems to be good, tips I can give is that you cut the sub freqs out of every synths that you used but you might have already done that since I don't hear it being muddy
Makes me happy that the first thing I hear when I get back from vacation is some brilliant house track by you hahah
There are probably some things that could be tweaked,
one mayor tip I received for just basicly all leads is to tweak the mid section of it a bit up and then what I mostly do is that I get a stereorizer on it and slight overdrive, reverb is also mostly good
Funny how I say mostly but barely upload tracks that I have that on though haha, but have been experimenting and have some un-uploaded stuff around so that is why
I would like to do a colab with you some day which will probably be electro or dubstep but I think that would be fun with you haha
Sounds sweet, really dropping it hard with those airy bells and that bass.
I think there is room for improvement in some spots, like I would probably up that bass and make it more like an "apex rise" bass which would be awesome but I understand that is really hard to make
Also vocals will probably change the feel of this song so I will just await till someone drops them on here
thanks for the feedback im just getting into mastering, I was actually just thinking about redoing the bass. i thought it sounded too airy, maybe too hard on the compressors... i was thinking about raising the threshold, lowering the makeup gain and maybe adding a filter to get rid of some of the medium freq breath im getting on it and upping the volume. i don't even know what an apex rise is sadly.. More specific pointers and instructions would go a long way for me im not a lazy producer
I really am fond of how clean everything comes through in this one, you really must have thought this through.
There is not much of harsh critique to be given
but if I had something it would be turning the master slightly down, just see that by looking at the wave form. I don't hear distortion now or anything but normally it could result in slight distortion if you overload it.
Thanks for sharing this track with us and great job ;)
Sweet track FR,
It really reminds me of a track that is quiet popular here lately, it features almost the exact same bass with the same notes (so now I know where that sample came from haha)
Love the mini mixes you make like this, the sound is always pretty neat ;)
I listened the original and then went back to this one, you did a great job on getting the piano arranged to have such a close resemblance to the song ;)
I Like most piano songs and this sure is something I can appreciate ;)
Chill out is the proper genre for this I think.
The original is so amazing. I'm glad you can hear a resemblance. I also love the sound of pianos by themselves. I greatly appreciate your kind comment. Take care!
It really put a smile in my face how I could see the intro being placed in the musical "we will rock you"
a interesting song further, I like it a lot ;)
jjweeks sure brings in some fancy vocals, but they don't take the main part here.
Sweet, indeed has the reggae feel because of the way you timed the piano.
Further the growls are sick ;D Are they made in massive? (why do I even ask of course they are)
One thing you could improve on is the drums, they form a big part of most dubstep. I think sidechaining them will do most or you could also mix things to get it right if you prefer that.
Further I have learned that most of the time you layer the kicks to create that unique sound for them, same for the snares. By layering them you can create a lot of nifty effects.
Thanks, I appreciate your feedback. Yes, growl is made in massive, I was messing around and came up with this sound. Thanks also for advices, I must check it ;)
I like the track and am always fond of most stuff with piano in it. It is pretty catch with the changing cut-offs on the filters. Thanks for sharing this with us FR and hope you do fine further
Thanks mate, sorry for the late reply, this comment somehow slipped by unnoticed until i just re upped the track. Yeah it was my first attempt with harmour and i only used the presets so i've still got much to learn about it.
Thanks for dropping by and leaving your thoughts.

One of your older tracks but it is pretty huge ;)
I love how you combined the vocals with the dark techy ambience. Hope you will revisit this style in the future and release something similar ;)

The only thing that bothers is the drum in the second part, I know others have mentioned it and you acknowledged it yourself
I am not sure what causes it, might be clipping so maybe turn it down a notch and see if your master doesn't peaks over 0 db

But then what I do like is that people seem to enjoy that particular combination
I get that it is a bit disappointing for the people that were going for fully dnb so sorry for you guys
