Thanks for the kind words, my friend! I'm happy I accomplished my mission to making this track upbeat. Would love to collaborate, send a message when you're ready! As usual, Thanks for stopping by and take care! :)
Nice job on this man,
like how this has a kinda trippy beat on it while the vocals go hard on it. Also fond of the switches between the first vocal style and the second.
Gotta love that guitar sound in the beginning, the track itself is pretty cool though I am not really a jazz fan I still liked what I heard here. Offers a interesting combination of sounds.
I'm glad you can appreciate music outside your preferred genre. I have found that jazz will challenge me more than other styles, which is why it's one of my favorite styles.
It is great to see the massive appreciation this track gets and all these remixes ;)
Thought I would hop in and listen the original again on looperman,it is a really nice track you created.
It still carries the distinctive spivkurl kind of sound but it is really different from most of your stuff so it is good to see the creativity that goes into this ;)
Thanks for sharing this with all of us and allowing the remixes, it is fun to see how other people changed the track around too... but drifting off now haha
Thanks very much for listening my friend! It kind of blew my mind seeing what happened from this song. 7 minutes until the transition to phase 2 of Nightr8 poisoning is complete! I appreciate you always supporting me with your reviews and all!
Well it is exactly as you stated 2 tracks mixed together haha. The sound of them is pretty great and I think you managed to put everything nicely together ;)
Sweet track, but think the 808's that are cut should have a slightly longer tail to them since now the bass cuts off to early for my feeling. But maybe when someone laid their vocals on this one it would sound good so I will await that outcome
Well it should make me sleepy according to your description, yet it manages to keep my attention while putting the mind at an ease.
Think you did great on this Orlando ;)
I would rather stick with this as a short track but I know you will add in a whole lot of other stuff that is enjoyable to listen to. I always am impressed by how you layer everything heavily and there is so much going on but at the same time there seems to be room left for other stuff to come in. That's with almost all of your tracks if not all.
Thanks for sharing and it was a pleasure to listen
Yes, all that "other stuff that is enjoyable to listen to" is already added in. I'm just trying to finish up the big electric voodoo psychedelic rock ending and then it should be done.
Some of the other stuff is more sitar and drones and also some funky vocoded guitar.
I'm with you on this being good as a short track but it's also good to hear what it turns into. It's tempting to have a short and very long version but I guess I'll probably just put the long version on my blues album when it's done.
Yes, heavy layering whilst also leaving space is mostly a matter of listening closely and trying to sculpt and remove things that interfere with the beat or any particularly good notes or parts.
Also important is making sure that when you're adding other layers and playing them in that you try to play mostly inbetween the layers you already have. If you do play over the top of another part, maybe make the new playing long, simple notes so that there's not too much of a clash. Or short ones that don't prevent you hearing the actual tune of another part.
Difficult thing for me to explain!
This isn't that heavily layered a track for me. I feel I have to layer things so that it's not just a simple, instrumental tune that sounds like it should have vocals.
The only thing I think could be better is if you turned the master down a notch, If I listen very carefully I hear a bit of hizz/distortion coming through from the bass, with the master turned down this should be fine
Further nice track that you made, I like how you made use of that heavy bass while keeping it a chill out song. Further the reverse use like others mentioned sounds pretty cool
Turns from a calm song into a rather trippy one, I like it ;) It's cool to hear it flow over like that and it's like a short journey over various places, at 1.24 it sounds like you are in the desert or something haha
sad though that the project is lost but it stays a nice song
so great job on it
Ahh okay, well from the positive side you don't hear the genre a lot (or at least I don't)
It surely gets people moving, can't imagine that most people stand still on this one haha
And I just realized that your picture isn't a pipe with a bush in it hahahahaha, I kept mistaking it for that for like forever but it's just the shadow that makes it look like that
Thanks- my reply was not really directed at your comments but to some earlier. I probably didn't do a great job of describing the track when I posted it.
If you want to hear the variety of Bhangra I have a playlist below that pretty well covers the breadth of the genre. http://open.spotify.com/user/climetree/playlist/18cxFWngxZCCaNhexveNLY
Again, thanks for listening.

It was interesting hearing this song, a lot of electronics involved in this one while keeping a sort of tribal feel to it. Also some electro house sort of stuff going on.
Sure a crazy track but it was enjoyable to listen to and fun ;)
Thanks for your comments - I think it may be appropriate to share that this is not really 'out there' within the genre. The vocals are taken form Billy Sagoo's samples and are fairly standard to the genre which is designed for dancing and celebration. Granted the house loops add a different level of energy but the purpose is to get people moving. The subtext is not subtle and this is basically a balls to the wall expression of energy with a bit of tongue in cheek.
Again, thanks for your kind comments - just want to expand on what this is supposed to be.
-clindsay
Well it sounds pretty good, I wonder what the previous daw is that you used since you now go for magix
Some people already mentioned the master so I am not going to nag about that, but like LivingInSilence says this song could indeed benefit from having backup vocals, I think that would take this next level.
I don't know if you are going to edit this song for that, but for future songs it would be cool to hear
Guess I will keep an eye out for the future ones then ^^
It's nice to see how you have changed the track into a more sort of epic orchestral composition instead of the industrial kind of thing, nice job on it ;)
also credits to Centrist for the track that this is based on
Had to drop by into your stuff for all the support you have given me from the start when I joined here ;)
and then the first thing I hear is this and it takes me away, sounds so great ;D Think you arranged the loops perfectly and it sounds cinematic to me
Thanks for the track and the support ;)
I will go listen to some other stuff of you which is more recent, waiting for your WIP to come out finished on soundcloud
I already had the feeling vocals were going to be added so
in that case I will keep an eye out for when the lyrics are dropped on this one ;) I bet the final result sounds great when that is done
Has a bit of that jazzy feeling in it or something like that I believe. Anyways it makes up for a nicely chilling track and it's nice to hear the chord changes throughout the track. It is so well structured, but the end is a bit abrupt, I would go for a fade out rather then a stop in this one
Thanks Johnny, always appreciate your feedback. You right about the ending, but since this is just a beat not the final mix my plan was to fade it out when i have lyrics on it.Thanks homie.
Linkin park is one of the artist I enjoy listening to from time to time, I happen to recently have heard this song and it's a very good cover that you made of it. You got the flow going great and have clear vocals on this. I like how you also added in the soft parts in between the songs, it offers a break from the rapping which is good and makes it sounds professional
Thanks for sharing this with us
and keep them coming too bro ;)
many thnx for kind words man .& Jean leaving music doesn't mean leaving looperman & at least to respect the friends whose cooperation made me have some international musical expriences ,I'll accompaniment U & upload my collaboration as I had told to them while we were working with eachother.so there's not any secret.and not any return my friend...I'm still here & as U see as a listener I even write comment for U friends..just as i describe for U in email too , I'm convinced that i don't belong to U musicians world , & I don't prefer to be a musician, player,or composer any more..I've thought more than enough about music & music has made me loose many important things which has been do more worthwhile & dear than music for me..as U know we everyone have ourselves private life & that's more important than loopermaning for me & no matter what it seems..many thnx for attention & such a nice review in commenT Jean...I don't know if U knew Mike or not but if not i suggest U to take a look to his profile & enjoy his arts...take care & best wishes.___Behnam
Hey pat, thanks for linking me this song. I did actually happen to stumble across this previously but probably it was when I was busy and I didn't listen to it fully then,
I really liked the sound at 0.16 it sounds just so energetic for me haha.
Further not much piano added in but just a slight bit, the small parts you did put in sound nice though, challenge you to make a track with only piano ^^ but that might lie in the future since you are still practicing it anyway, though it would take away the cool spivkurl industrial sounds :/
Hey, thanks for swinging by to comment on this song! I am just a beginner at piano, especially recording it, so yes, there isn't too much in here. Playing keyboards and organs helps a bit, and knowing some theory, but it's mostly a new beast. I don't know if I'll ever do a strictly piano song, but who knows?! I appreciate the feedback and support! I will be returning your message soon!
Mm like anno mentioned the mastering could be done a bit better but it is a nice remix that you did.
I suggest to get the drums clear that you sidechain them and the vocals could be a bit clearer too so that is more a thing of turning the overall sound down while having the vocals higher qua volume.
I will listen the mastered version whenever it comes out
Further I must say you used some cool sounds to make the remix, I like them ;)
