This is a nice track with lots of good samples dotted about all over the place. I particularly like the flanged beats and the siren sound.
Good job here
FR
Well this sounds good from where i'm sitting. It's a well put together piece of trance with a nice breakdown into the guitar melody.
The mix is clean and evrything sounds on point so a job well done here i'd say.
FR
Yeah, I love a good disco track and this is one of them. I particularly like it when it turns funky and you get those funky guitar sounds happening. Nice old school stabbing synths and the vibe carries through well.
I like the wah guitar interludes and i can't think of a bad word to say about the track.
Bravo!
FR
This is great mate. Reminds me a little of Paul Oakenfolds stuff with a little bit of massive attack.
Brilliantly mixed and good job with the vocal.
Love it.
FR
This sounds great on my crappy lap top speakers so it must sound fat on a propper system.
I think i'm gonna fav it so i can listen to it properly later.
Cheers!
This has a great haunting melody. Nice key changes, wicked synths and all the right ingredients a trance tune should have.
I gotta second beerling and put this one in the favs.
FR
Well i took your advice and tuned in. Glad i did as i'm digging those fat "wubby" basses (what are you using for that?) and the arabian style. It's got a nice funky progression to it and again sounds really clean.
You keep your tracks interesting with new parts constantly being dropped into the mix. Loving those arabian scales and the guitar that drops in towards the end.
This is indeed a tight production.
FR
Can't remember exactly what the wubby bass was. Might be a synth sound in Reason. Might be my Korg Z1 (which I don't use anymore, mostly Reason these days for synths). But I think I need to find out and use that sound again!
No plan to do the Arabian thing but I love those sorts of sounds, have no idea how to play them but they just come out once I start using semitones and move about the guitar or keyboard.
Yes, I'm always dropping new stuff in the mix, though sometimes my stuff actually changes too much, which can be be a bit of a headache after a while for people. I'm trying to change stuff a bit less. I have loads of other similarly eclectic things (and much longer stuff on other sites) so feel free to check more out.
Thanks again for stopping by and I appreciate the appreciation.
This is really nice. I dig that deep tribal sound you've got going on there. Nice funky interludes and very cleanly mixed as well.
I like the attention to detail with the percussive instruments and the main lines are cool as well.
I can't pick fault with this track at all.
Good job.
Oh thanks but I can and do pick fault with that. I made this years ago but in the last year extended it by about 2 minures and improved loads of little things.
It's just not as good as I hear it should be in my head. I know everyone can say that about anything they've done but I feel it more acutely on some tracks than others. Sometimes you just have to give up, I guess. I think I've probably done all I can with this.
Yes, it is a cool basic tribal sound. That main drum loop plus those djembes, didg and bass sit really nicely. Everything came from that beginning. Check out my track on here called Circular Motion as it's way better than this one and I wouldnt change much about it. And it has some things in common with this track.
The sound you've come up with is great as far as the pianos concerned & i like the way you introduced the beat whith that swooshing sound.
I would have liked to have heard something else to back up the piano a little later in the track such as some strings or a synth of some description.
It's a good tune and with a bit of work it could be a great one.
FR
I like this. It's very retro sounding and you've layered those vocals well. Reminds me a little of BT (the artist not the telephone company)
It's also pretty epic at nine minutes twenty.
I enjoyed this track.
FR
Never heard the original but you've put together a good mix here. The vocal fits the melody. It builds nicely and drops well. The atmospheres are good and you kept it interesting.
Good track.
FR
This is great. There's not one thing out of place in this varied and complicated piece. The production is crystal clear and you can't help but slink into the groove.
Very well done!
FR
Well this has plenty of atmosphere. Nice layering of the vocals with the big reverb going off all over. It almost has a kind of dub sound to it except with pianos rather than bass.
This is a well chilled track and it compliments the spliff i've just smoked perfectly so cheers for that!
FR
This is pretty hot stuff Billy, Reminds me a little of the sort of stuff John 00 Flemming plays. The bass is pumping, the synth riffs are good and there's all sorts of zany atmospheres going on which compliment the foreground brilliantly.
This has to be a fav for sure.
Blinding!
FR
This is cool, kind of nine inch nails crossed with metallica. Love the vocal, dig the guitars, the drums are fat and the production is very professional.
I think you'll find this is a great track.
FR
Just kidding (I hate it when people put "great track" so i just did it for a laugh)
Anyway i thought i'd leave some more comments on this track as i like it and i especially like your French vocals.
Since i already left comments on this i won't bore you with another in depth analysis of what i'm hearing.
I'll just say that i enjoy it every time i hear it.
FR
And it worked FR ! I giggled :))
I'm so happy you like this one cause it's very dear to me .
You ? Boring me ?? Are you pulling my leg ? Ouch ! No, never do you, my dear .
I enjoy reading from you every time I have the chance to .

Hi! Welcome to Jazz Club! Nice! Groovy! (remember that from the fast show?)
Anyway is that a rhodes keyboard. Sounds fat mate. This is really uplifting, has a groovy bassline and would stand the test in any decent d&b mix.
Brilliant is what it is.
FR
Yes mate, Loved the Fast show. The sample I used from MaxJC has the bass in it, Check it out on his page, I made the chorus myself I think I used the Spencer Hill Rhodes in Nexus. And a few other bits.
Nice blend of vocals, slap bass and funky guitars. This has a great summer time vibe to it and makes me feel like going out.
So i'm going out! Thanks for that.
FR
I like aliens and i like heavy metal so naturally i had to home in on this track.
I like the intro and then the way it comes slamming in with the Napalm Death style vocals.
This is one manic and brutal sounding track with lots of interesting changes and sweet production (not to mention some mean guiar playing and frantic drum patterns)
Love it.
FR
This is a great piece of funky electronic i don't know what.
One minute it's grooving the next it's contemporary jazz.
I like the use of samples and saxophone. The congas are nice and those huge reverbs give a real feeling of space.
Good work.
FR
This is what i'm talking about! Old school vibes with excellent synth work, nice breakdowns and a sweet little vocal.
This one bangs along niceley, like the way you've sliced up the vocal. All the parts fit perfectly and this tune is simply on point all the way through.
Good work as usual Billy!
FR
Yeah! I like it. It's raw, it's ready, It's very now and i can't think of one negative thing to say about it.
This wouldn't be out of place on one of those SSX snowboarding games or a skate video.
Great stuff, In that favs.
FR
Hey Spivkurl, Saw you online and thought i'd drop by.
This is manic. Love those dirty d&b basses that tare up your subwoofers. Bonnies vocals are hot, I've got to have a go with those at some time she reminds me a bit of Kosheen.
Nice work here.
FR
This is really well put together although it's leaning more on the side of breaks than techno. Not that it matters. The tune reminds me a little of Y4K stuff with nice swirly noises trippy drops and a subtle blend of synths.
