on stress by Sherris
Well this is something a little different. It's a great atmospheric piece with lots of ambience and i dig it when that nasty guitar effect comes in near the finish.
It's got a real spooky vibe to it.
Good stuff.

on Because of You by aelmen
This is very retro sounding. Reminds me a little of early depeche mode which is a good thing by the way.
Loving the use of the flanger on the harmonic synth line as well.
When the funky guitar came in towards the end of the track i suddenly realized how well bananaramas "cruel summer" would synchronize with this, now there's an idea.
Sweet track!

on Free To Use 140 bpm by Mosestone
This is a nice bit of sci fi soundscaping if ever i heard it.
Crucethus is right though, it needs at least a kick drum or something to take it to the next level.
Great as an intro piece though.

I like this spacey electronic vibe you've got going on here. Nice subtle blending of sounds and great melodies.
Everybody put ya hands in the air.
A splendid tune.

on Keep it Going by crucethus
This is really retro and electronic sounding in places and then it goes a bit kind of grunge as well.
Nice blend of flavours which give it a unique sound.
Interesting track which twists and turns and just has to be listened to from start to finish to get the full picture.
Nice one.

on Keep On by 520
You're right about this track being sweet and melodic for sure.
It's a very warm sounding track with lots of different sounds all complimenting each other to create a wall of soft sounds.
I think i'm going to have an afternoon nap now.

on ill with it - ft nepaul-bonez-shatner by lAgrophone
This is really good. I'm digging the swing music. This track would be really good in a Tarantino movie or something.
You've done a really great job with the mix and i think this ones going in the favs.

on Redundanz by Ishimizu
This is really good. Like the long build up and then it just breaks into a really nice sci fi kind of soundscape with loads of fat synths, wobbly noises and some great beats.
This was a pleasure to listen to.

on Born Ooo Jah Radio Edit by smallpaul
Like it mate, Sounds like something Tenaglia or Deepdish would play. That saxophone is wicked, where did you get that from?
Leachim's done a good job with the vocal as well.
I'm surprised that that more people haven't homed in on this one if i'm honest.
Top notch.

on Runner by Darkreine
I always like a bit of a metal/dance crossover so i'm pleased to have stumbled across this little number that does just that.
I particularly like the bit where the synths come in and it breaks down into the "run" sample.
Good effort here me ol' china plate!

on The Hypnotist - Together We Rise by Indozizz
Well you certainly know your trance music Indozizz. This is very chilled indeed. The sort of thing i like to hear when the sun comes up at a rave party when everyones feeling a bit wired and danced out.
This was a pleasure to listen to and i shall definitely be back for more.

on Human again by janis71
I listen to this and it makes me annoyed that i can't sing.
It reminds me a little of something from the 80's with a touch of new school thrown in for good measure.
You've done a marvel with this one. I must get round to mixing in some of your vocals.

Aw, thx for having drawn this from the dungeon, my friend !!
Erm ... there are parts where I sing off a little but I was so enthusiastic at that time that I didn't realize about it, haha .
Yeah, please do ! I'd love it if one of my fav' contributors had a try on them !

Well this is just ace. Your mixdown is spot on the vocals are great and the whole thing has professional written all over it.
This is the best trance track i've heard on here for ages.

Wow thanks! :) I'm not a pro so I do appreciate your comment very much! ;) Although this is one of my better tracks, a huge part of it goes to Kyle Monroe for the vocal mix downs.. I just provided the backing music for it. Thanks for stopping by and also for the Fave! :)

on The Hypnotist - Now and Forever by Indozizz
loving the melodies in this tune. Makes me think of a haunted house for some reason.
I particularly like the trippy breakdown and the fact that there's just so many different elements all complimenting each other so well.
It's a cracker!

on Antidote by TCAS
Well what a fantastic piece of floaty, hands in the air trance music. Love the way that it rides in and out of the beat. the synth melodies are excellent and i'm now wondering what software your using because i got to get me a copy!
Excellent tune!!

TCAS replied 17th Jul 2013 - 12 years ago
Thanx!
U made the track in Reason with the Antidote RE and Predator RE.
In Reason I applied some basic lo- and hipass eq.
I bounced the tracks and imported them in Ableton.
There I fine tuned with Fabfilter PRO-Q, Ozone 5 standard and Ableton built-in compressor.

Thanks for your kind words!

i'm liking the combination of vocals and piano's going on here. It's very chilled. I can't help thinking that this would translate really well into a banging trance tune.
It was a pleasure to listen to.

Really - A trance tune? Haven't thought of that at all - but it's a good idea! Maybe somebody would want to give it a try?
Maybe I should give it a try myself...I'm just not very experienced so it will take some time to accomplish, this one is also just a half-finished song.

Anyway - thanks for listening!

I love the synth sounds and the pads in this. This is what i would call deep trance and you've put it together really well. Love the way the sounds swell in and out of it. nice breakdowns and transitions as well.

I really enjoyed this sleek and sexy bit of funk music. Reminds me a little of 21st century soul.
Nice blend of synths and vocals all the way through in this futuristic funk epic.
Well done.

Hi, thanks, this was my first attempt at putting a longer track together although it's not really long by todays standards. I cracked up laughing at the funny things you have on your profile, it's very entertaining. A big inspiration is Erykah Badu I love her stuff, think there's a term neo-soul that gets used. Her live album is a beauty, it came out ages ago but it's great. Thanks again

on JOHN HOLMES by Planetjazzbass
Now you see i always thought that john holmes was that porn star with the ten foot long schlong but nevermind.
This piece is a fine, jazzy melty number that's easy on the ear, full of funky little interludes and it's impossible not to tap your feet to it.
very well done.

on No sleep tonight ft Bonnie Rabson by smallpaul
Alright mate, Saw this number and thought i'd home in. It's much better than the crap i've been writing off late.
Digging that blend of vocals and floaty synths.
I'd fav this if i had even one percent of a clue how to do it.
Ah well now for a fix of paperweight i suppose.
Great effort with this one mate.

on Loving Who You Are by dv8
Liking your D&B tracks is becoming a bit of a habit. Everytime I listen to one it's just excellent from start to finish. Your productions have really come on in leaps and bounds and I can't think of anything negative to say unless I go off on another tangent about david bowies latest release.
Anyway, nuff said.
This tracks a steamer!
