The beat on this kinda reminds me of the way an old ceiling fan sounds when it's set on high and the spin causes it to vibrate a little. Something I've heard many a summer night while trying to fall asleep. And the piano sequence ya had on here was choice. Had me thinkin of huge grandfather clocks for some odd reason.
Anyways, so this is 'dubstep' huh? Not what I was expecting (when compared to dub), but not bad either. Kinda like the chill side of jungle? Anyways, thanks for sharing. Later on!
Dubstep is such a varied genre. If you wanna hear the more Dub side of it, check out something like Naked by Shackleton. It's not as electronic.

Nice usage of the vocals mate. The effects ya placed on 'em give this a strange etheral vibe. And the beat on this kinda makes me feel like it's trippy, chill time music. The stuff ya play when yer sittin up late at night pullin an all-nighter study session or something. Interesting grooves mate. Later on!

Yeah, I'm kinda just getting into this genre too mate. From what I've heard so far yer pretty dead on with your stuff here. The only thing I can recommend is maybe making it a little longer (by about a minute) and maybe work on ironing out yer levels to make 'em come out playin smoother. Nice usage of the old radio receiver on this. I dunno why, but I couldn't make out the Saddam samples in this. Oh well, this was a pretty interesting track, though I dunno if I'd call it Dub. Sounds a bit like old Techno mixed with a buncha vocal samples. Eh, it's no biggie, this was a pretty bangin song. Thanks for sharing mate. Later on!

Maybe it's the overall groove of this song. It feels more like Ambient or Chillout than it does Dub. I mean, sure, there are Dub undertones to it I just think it's vibe is too laid back. Though that isn't a bad thing really. I think it just caters to a different crowd is all. Oh well, interesting mix though. Later on!

I might be wrong here, given that I've just started to pick up on the genre, but this doesn't feel like Dub to me. I think it's the beat the throws it off for me. Though don't get me wrong, this is a pretty movin piece. Yet, given it's short length and sudden end is it safe to guess that it isn't finished? Nice start, keep workin at it mate!

Haha, I'm lovin the title. And in a way it kinda reminds me of that one scene near the end of the movie Dazed and Confused (at the party near lookout tower or whatever it was called).
Anyways, I dig the spaced out groove of this and in a way it also reminds me of the way the dryer sounds when a button or somethin is facing out and slamming against the walls inside (with the beat). Thanks for sharing. Later on!

Haha, 'wadada' is whatcha gotta do in a situation like this. It's a dance kinda like a mix between the Twist and the Melbourne Shuffle (or somethin, shrugs).
Now as for the song, man, some of those beats (or should I say, hits) sounded super familiar. Just can't put my finger on where I've heard 'em before though. And I like the lil reggae-esques ya had in this here and there. Cool mix mate. Later on!

Yeah, I'm with the others on here- doesn't sound like Drum&Bass, sounds more like some fast Techno. Mixed with a slight Industrial vibe too. And ya might wanna either cut this down or throw in some more variation at the end because the track begins to get a little repetitive. Though I do like the high energy level of this and think it would be good for someone using it in a mash-up remix session. Later on!

This is classic Drum&Bass right here! Though I'm also diggin the slightly Ambient vibe ya had in this. Starting off nice and slow, working your way up into the high energy stuff. Kinda like giving the people on the floor some prep stretch time before the workout. I also really loved that vocal sample ya had on here. There isn't one thing that I don't like about this. Okies, I don't think that this could really be classified as traditional Drum&Bass. Sounds more like some kinda progressive hiphop joint IMO. And ya might wanna watch some of yer levels on this coz they came out soundin a bit hot compared to the rest of the mix.
Though I did think this track was rather enjoyable. And agree with Shamus that this would be sweet if it had some vocals on it. Can't really say which I think would fit it best. Hmm, maybe a mix of different styles with a couple of singers/rappers possibly? Anyways, thanks for sharing. Later on!

I really dig the way ya make it sound kinda like a cave at the beginning. I can totally picture some huge cavernous hall filled with stalactites and stalagmites. With lil flickers of light bouncing off of the tiny specks of crystaline rock in 'em. And the one set of pads you use gives a great illusion of falling or flying. Cool stuff here. Later on!

Nice lil drum fills ya threw in here. I think they made the track move along a bit faster (or with more energy). And though I feel it, I think you could've given this a better description. Kinda causes me to think that people who float over this might miss the point of what's going on here.
And as for the genre, hmm, I dunno if this would accurately be described as being a Trance song (unless you're doing some Progressive or Goa-Psy type stuff with this). IMO, this is more Techno than it is the other. But beyond all that I think that this is a pretty decent composition ya got here. Thanks for sharing. Later on!

So yeah, where was I? I def think that this has a solid start and then @ 0:44 ya throw in that one synth sequence (just sounds like ya might wanna have it fade in by moving the first loop's volume bar on the left). And if it were me, I'd either drop out or add some effects to the vocal sample saying 'The bass'. And after that work on expanding out the mix. Cool starter here though. Later on!

Haha, yeah, I could tell this was mixed on Magix (it just has this certain sound to it, beyond just the loops). You might be able to tell from some of my stuff that I am a fellow MM user. So if ya ever want any pointers or whatever just lemme know and I'll be glad to help.
As for this mix, is it safe to guess that this is still an 'in-progress' piece? I ask because of the length and some of the stuff I heard during the song. I'm gonna say that this wasn't bad for yer first time messin with the program, but I'm thinkin that this could be a little better. No worries, it won't take long to get the hang of that prog.
