Hey, This is an interesting mix. Liked the singing harmony combined with the spoken word, great idea. The dub step instrumental gives that electronic vibe and ambient at the same time. The lyrical message was cool to think about while subconsciously chill in to the music. Dig this illusion. Thanks for sharing, got me listening. Keep at it, peace.

I was just listening to this on sc this morning, good to find it here as well. I was telling you that your work with the sounds allows the listen to see things differently, how the composition works for multi reasons and scenes can be replayed. I now wonder when the vocals will added what will one see. Very nice so far tho. Thanks for sharing and keep creating those thoughts. Peace.

on Clouding Of Consciousness by locatednowhere
Good performance on all parts. Much enjoyed the guitar when they fell from the build to lead a pathway of mental walk. Drums are better in this one. Most of the guitar is what I really took in from this take. Sections at 0:30 0:44 1:14 2:18 and of course the 3:00 marks are all very good guitar ideas. I heard 4 different songs coming from this, tho its best as a changing sampler. Enjoy this one too thanks for sharing man. Keep rocking it. Peace

Did enjoy the listen. After a cold one this starts becoming alive! Like what you're playing on the guitar. Do you do bass guitar as well? Not sure if I heard any in here, just asking since I really like how you control the guitar. I wanted to let you know this sounds great on my side of the speakers, though it does feel like another element besides some vocals is missing within what you have down so far. Hope things are chill, Thanks for sharing, Peace.

on Ambush by Anubis
You have a good sense for this style of music Anubis. Ambient nature with lots of interest. Infectious design for the mind to perceive something beyond what one knows. In this case, a soundtrack created from inspiration of something mystical. Same as your source it does a good job at making a piece of sounds form into that shadow figure dubbed "unknown". Respects to your creations, I admire what he creates. It's as if I started seeing what you saw that led to this. Do you have any album(s) of cinematic style? Much interest in your works. Like the sounds you used here and wondering if you are a composer highly ranked for such entertainment! Thanks for sharing. Peace.

for the simple reason ...
someday work on compositions for games or movies.

Hey, something about this catches the attention in a cool way. I liked the style of the vocals with how the instrumental sounds which is playing something relaxed making you think. The lyrics reach out wrapped in the mind now and I hear that guitar leading steps. Liked that piano loop much. Got a groove step and enjoyed the listen. Thanks for the creative message. Peace.

on Mayz The Final Warning 2 point 0 by Mayz
I've been listening to this time and time again after the 1st review. It sheds a good path as I travel through them streets. Saying I think this is good the 1st time around and now again still good. Like the improvements you've been making with your tracks. For a skit, this could have been one heck of track man. I see you writing more to it so I might end up that way, coo. Thanks for posting. I know you got those different genre heads giving this a listen, coming together rather well, keep at it. Peace.

Life is ab itch, can't say it better. Enjoy your dedication of telling it like it is, got me agreeing and seeing a bunch of realness I can relate to full. The instrumentals you work with are fiya! and you fit them well vocally. Lyrically is right on the dot, sights on the target and you took that situation stamped it and owned it. Mayz = well balanced image is the impression received from listening. Levels are clear, I can hear it all and man you don't disappoint. You the maze keeper, cool of you to let us visit the park. Thanks for sharing, another dl from me. Peace.

on Mayz the Final Warning skit by Mayz
Whaaaat!!! Hell yeah Mayz!! This is fire and I am smiling in the smoke clouds turning up this track! Vocal work is ill with it. The best skit I've heard lately. This warning needed to be said and you're the messenger that is best to deliver this to the public I thought. This took me back in time while I still stand in the current, To me this gave a similar vibe of some thug harmony. Serious fun man. Props because this is nothing but the truth, may god help them all. Keep the realest alive Mays, there's fire in you that needs to be let loose. Thanks for sharing, the fastest I ever wanted to dl something from here. Don't ever hold back man, what you got to say matters more than you may know. Peace.

Smooth and a classic. Nice expression, has a good bounce to it, ears approve of a good listen. Someone out there has the words of view tho I'm digging how the instrumental is speaking on its own. Placement and quality sounds are perfect. The way its put together is motivating, inspiring lyrically. Well balanced happy and sad, the good and the bad. Simplistic and full entertainment. Great work, thank you for sharing. Peace.

Nice when the the silence enters then drops in. Hellyeah, nicely pieced together. Cool new choice drums this time. There are two sections I really thought were great ideas out of this jam. 1 @ 1:07 2 @ 2:04. The tele eq at 1:24 is sick! I've heard some really cool jams from you since I've been here man. Keep doing your thing dude, its killer entertainment. Thank you for sharing. Peace.

on In My Eyes ft JJWeekz by srbrown7
Very interesting track srbrown7. Good surprise of the mixed content and the levels are sounding balanced. You got it louder with the dynamics at 4:00 for example where the sounds all come together. I can picture the clouds dividing and that bright light is the signal of greater victory. The use of the specific pella by JJW is meaningful message with your combination. That porta synth lead was unexpected but left a good thought about it. The pads/fx add that mysterious walk through shadows. The vocals mixed in is like that voice inside your head leading you somewhere. The guitar sound is powerful, pushes through that wall of doubt. Piano as simple as it is plays an important role for my listen. Thanks for sharing, Peace.

on Last Man Standing by BigPete
Immediately I hear a great track captured. In my opinion everything is created and mixed very well. From the melodies to the tones is just right. The layering and transitioning is perfect I thought. The combination of this instrumental rock with that cinematic feel definitely strong and enjoyable to hear. Like your live expressions here, making the music speak full. Absolutely enjoy that sax and solo guitar pieces. Well produced track. Did you create all this from scratch? Really outstanding track. Appreciate you sharing this with us. Motivated. Stay this way. Peace.

Hello, Some interesting sounding tranquility. Is nice to hear this type of sounds mixed together. Good use of space captured, deep and thoughtful. The piano is very nice, I liked how it sounds no errors with its usage. I noticed this trip had been interrupted too soon at the end, wondering what would hear next from it. Definitely a very good start and a useful view you captured. I also had a listen to what Midi sparks had done to your track, sounds like you both are on a similar plain with the space which is a cool thing. Thanks for letting us hear, keep creating Peace.

on mooon collab with Skylawker by DanGoldstein
I hear what you worked on with this track. Nice idea concerning the continuation of piano and to transition in a closing section which the original sounded like it needed. Thought the motives sampled from earlier was cool approach. Nice level adjustments, Clear and powerful. Nice, noticed you fixed some of the gaps from the original, sounding smoothed out now and still retains its space feel. Keep up the good work Dan. Thanks for posting it. Peace

Got some nice sections in this one. What you're playing on the guitar sounds good and dig the idea (its heaviness and pace) I hear what you were saying about the quality nonetheless it still gives a good feel from it. Actually like how it just jumped into gear as soon as pushed play. Is this still being worked on or completed for now? Due to quality I'm not sure if the levels are clear enough but it sure does sound really cool when I bump the volume control. Dig this one and thanks for sharing. Keep rockin this joint, Peace.

on Liberate Vocal Mix by Spivkurl
Hello Pat, Still liking the sound of how the instrumental goes. Now with the vocals, Takes the listener further into this odd world. The vocals are interestingly strange, the kind of sound alerts the ears right away but I believe the delivery of this take has a strong hold into the spiv universe of irregular design. I listen through all kinds of weird and your style has something that stands alone in the current moment from what the ears have experienced. Normally you would see someone mention that the vocals might be a bit too much for the backing looped track but I like it its oddness and creative difference. It's a hard thing to lead but very easy when you find a direction that could take you down a side trail I believe. Still a fan of the instru thou. Good soup Spiv, Thanks for sharing the idea. Peace.

Hello my friend and thank you for this review with it's depth. Your experience of (and experienced opinions of) the vocals is right on the money as far as I can tell. The lead vocal is one take with no edits, done today. Tried some different effects than usual in the chain, wanted a strong analog strength to it. May have taken it too far, or it at least manipulated the genre. I take what you've written as a compliment, if that's alright? I also like your use of thou! Always love cooking, and soup something I buy processed all too often. Your ideas are well taken too! Thanks!

on Broken by locatednowhere
Strong atmospheric music. Like its questioning dark space, gives a falling away sense. Dig the two different tones and playing styles you did with the guitar sound. The synth sound add nice with the guitars, your drums though sometimes sound off but then again they work good, maybe its just how I hear them but its tricky stuff for me. For some reason I want to say this tracks order is in reverse and made me think to the saying "For a new life to begin, an old life must end" and that's everything! the same as what I get from listening here. Hope the broken that this music was created for is good again. Sorry if this was of no help. Liked this idea much as is. Thanks for sharing, Peace.

on The Day After Tomorrow by locatednowhere
Really like when the guitars harmonize the drumming at that point sounded great, the drum pat for example that starts at 0:27 I'm guessing the verse portion, I felt the closed hat is too up front compared to the other parts of the drum setup on the levels, not a real problem, sounds kind of empty just opinion of something I can't seem to not focus on at those sections. The guitars are great as is though. Dig the quality of how they sound and what they're playing. Reminds me to some of those younger days when I felt like I could take on the world, very clueless to it all. Like the way you got the layers going. 1:53 that break section very nice, heard a vocal line .. "hhhhrrraaahhhhh!!" - growl like tone. Some DBZ Energy type of soundtrack I can imagine this to. Very cool idea and thanks for sharing. Is this complete for now or still in the works? Have you found anyone to do vocals for your tracks? Honestly I enjoy them as instrumentals, filled with imagination man. Keep at it. Peace.

on Random Acts Of Human Kindness by StaticNomad
Man, these instrumentals you upload sound great, It's a good thing you go through each track the way that you do. I like that all the tracks listed play together kind of like a movies OST. Dedicated thoughts fitting in many things that go on, strange but very nice!! I enjoy the trips more these days, your style has grown onto the listener and I appreciate to hear what you create. For this track in particular, has something slightly different, maybe that spaced string that appears in the beginning. The guitars this time are something special, random acts of kindness, I see some nice things, never noticed before. Thanks for the open eyes and settled mind. Still wondering about that album release. I would like to listen to this offline as well. Thanks for letting us hear it here. How are you?

Hi. I’m fine, thanks. Good to hear from you.

“I like that all the tracks listed play together kind of like a movies OST.”

Damn – that sounds like you actually listened to a load of them in one go!

“your style has grown onto the listener”

You know I don’t exactly make pop music. I’ve always felt that my sort of lengthy, complex stuff needs to be listened to a good few times so that people can some sense of what’s going on and how it all fits together. It’s not really suitable music for people just browsing on Looperman expecting to hear a nice, simple short catchy tune. This is the shortest track I’ve ever uploaded.

People really do need to own my stuff to get into it properly (sorry that’s not possible just yet). I’m not writing one album but about 8! I just keep putting off releasing even one as I don’t yet have the artwork though tracks for the first two albums are pretty much done. Though I do always worry about mastering as I’m no expert and want my stuff to be as good as possible.

I’ve had strong interest from a few people on the site about me releasing/selling some of my stuff so must get round to it sometime.

This one was going to be a 15 min track but I chose to turn the extension into its own 11 min track and leave this one as it is. Here’s the extension, which I’m pretty happy with:

There Goes Gravity http://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/156081.

In RAOHK, I’m particularly happy with the second half guitar solo. One of my most melodic and best constructed. I do also particularly like the strings early on. You’ll hear the same string part at different ponts in There Goes Gravity. And the same shuffle drums, though they get heavier and more insistent and also seem to get faster (though it’s all at the same tempo, as with almost all my tracks).

Thanks for your thoughts.
