Description : I'm happy to upload new collab track with Tumbleweed. Our collaboration is now almost traditional and on this one we used more or less known recipe...I won't bother you with details cause there are too many...just sit back and relax...any comment will be appreciated as always!
All thanks to my dear friend Ed for sharing his special talent.

Really cool track, I thought you were gonna do a sort of jean michel jarre kinda thing going by the intro, but I like how it went to a down tempo trip hop-ish vibe. Full of nice and pleasing sounds, great collab well done!
ah yes, better late than never!
this is crazy good. the first minute of the intro in itself was already a feast for my mind.
instantly loved the clever sounds and intervals in the background, drizzling down in a most beneficial manner to create an interesting listening experience that is suspense-packed. here i already knew i am going to love this.
Ed absolutely kills it with his guitar and makes it look like childsplay again. i probably couldn't even play this half as clean if i had 3 hands.
excited to hear all those well thought-through details in the background in my headphones - not sure i would have noticed all the yummy things over my crappy speakers.
3:48 has just given me goosebumps, ahhhh how i like when that happens man... wish i could explain how it happens more often in detail.
surely one for my prog playlist, thanks for download.
expertly done guys, one to be proud of!
Wow...this is really one unexpectedly generous review! More so I'm glad because of it due to the fact that Ed wasn't completely satisfied with all of the aspects of the song,
consequently making me unconfident as well and I wasn't even sure if this version (there are more)had deserved the upload..
yet I took my chances cause I felt it was basicaly completely ok and as I see the track is very well received among Loopers and it's even getting some enthusiastic reviews like yours is.
I can only say big thank you for that level of recogniton and I hope there will be more opportunities to provide you with some small packages of goosebumps in the future..:)^^
man another stunning piece of work from you, very soothing type of piece, sitting out in back yard, listening to this piece, and canary's whistling in background, makes this a extremely good listen, mix sounds excellent, everything sounds like it is where it should be my friend...Best track heard doing reviews so far today...Massive fav...Peace n Respect matey...Mosaic...
You really surprised me...I thought you've already checked this one before so this is a nice surprise.:) As always thanks alot for your kind and positive feedback and if you like you can check my newest upload here: http://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/161226
Hey O.
fantastic chill out experience, everything fits together and forms a super atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility, I really enjoyed the song.keep on bro* D.
Hi Destero....my apologise for the late reply...your comment is like a relief to me cause there were many doubts along the way...thank you so much for that.:)
Sweet drop at 1:38. The piano and guitar melody argue a little bit when they first appear and the composition loses cohesion momentarily, but it settles nicely into a call and answer format. I think it could use a bassline to kick the drums. Really good playing and synth layering.
I received two words from this entire track. "LET GO" From chill to intense chill of thoughts this had me questioning my own thoughts and in return inspired me enough to agree with those thoughts turning that dream into something real.
Your mixes with Ed are presented well with mad interest into your creations. A lot of detail but the result I'm hearing hear sounds like a track well done. Good work to all involved and thanks for sharing with us. Stay motivated. Peace,DI
The secret to a great track is combining the talents of two extremely talented people. The moment Ed starts playing that Strat is absolutely magical.....simply magical.
Sometimes a piece transcends adjectives, and this is one of those.
It isn't very often I am rendered speechless, but this is one of those occasions. Beautiful piano work, wonderful mix, simply stellar in every way possible.
Downloaded for those times when I need to simply close my eyes and take a trip somewhere far away.....thank you for that.
One of my favorite tracks of all time. Bravo gents.
It's not very often to receive such an outstanding and generous review, but this one is certainly one of those precious rarities which certainly puts a big smile on artist's face..:) Thank you so much for that...
If you guys were looking to hit emotional notes and not just musical ones, you succeeded. Not many times do I want to replay a 5+ minute tune right after it ends but that's what I did. Some talented musicianship right there.
I'm still getting to know who's who at looperman but you are definitely someone I will be seeking out whenever you release something Orlando.
It's really a joy to see the enthusiasm you have expressed so generously about this piece...that's really uplifting...thank you so much for that, Steve...
Hey Orlando, I've been so busy the past week, just now getting round to checking out the latest tracks. This is a particularly brilliant piece of music you and Ed have composed. Its one of those that immediately reaches deep into you and touches your soul with some kind of strange and wonderful energy.
Music has long been recognized for its therapeutic value, its ability to affect mood, trigger memories and foster loving associations.
This one I think, is verification of that and fully delivers on every level.
Thanks for sharing this with us and certainly wish you both all the best in whatever the future has in store.
Hi Orlando...just had to drop by to leave you a well done and a big thank you..and thatn you for your more than kind words my friend...Guess you are aware of the circumstances that will keep me away from the music (& the Loop) as much as I would like to be involved...will stop in when I can to check up on you & our Looperfriends as I think I`m addicted....There is a lot more music to be done....on to thenext one...Look forward to meeting up along the road again..I have a ton of musical ideas..some of them partially started so they dont escape when I return....and you know where to reach me any time....My best to you always my friend...Ed
Thank God, Ed...you can still do a peek or two on LM in spite of the situation which is really very nice...ofcourse I am completely aware of it and I just hope it won't last too long, and most important that it will be all fine in the end. As you know I still have some of your material and I'm trying to work on it...it all depends of free time amount and particulary of Muse's willingness to pay me some visits from time to time...when something emerges out of it I will let you know, as always...
Hold on tightly, my friend, we haven't said the last word yet...
Ahh when two of my favourite composers get to work together it's like looking at the sun.... Intro is awesome and builds upon the tension of what's going to come. 1:30 gives us a slew foot drum beat with a nice piano riff intermixing with T-weeds sublime g-tar. Bass is simple but effective. I think to make this truly work you need a more movable bass-line. And I would bring the guitar more forwards in the mix. The piano should be more in the background. This is a good song, just needs a deft touch in the mixing department. 4:30 gives us a hint of a possible cool synth solo but chickens out.
I hate to critique ... but This has such potential to be a potent song but it feels to me that it is stumbled or blocked by something. Missing a flow or chemistry in both your awesome talents. I will listen again tomorrow with a clearer(less tired working a lot) mind and maybe give some more thoughts to this one. As I really appreciate the work you both do. And respect you both as amazing musicians.
Steve
Many thanks for your honest and comprehensive review, as well for the general compliments...to tell you the truth I'm becoming tired of this song, but not because of the music itself, but because I have quite a few different mixes and arrangements of it and I can never decide which mix works best...I think it all depends of a preference of a certain listener in the end. Normaly I would tend to remixing it again and again, but I'm sick of it...I had too many headaches because of it already and I just need to start fresh on something else...
I think you guys are a magnificent combination with combining your talents together, this beat is really groovy man~ is there anyway possible I can work with you guys?
Hello Anthony, thx alot for a positive feedback...otherwise I'm always open for possible collaborations. You can contact us by private message...cya around...
This is very nice to hear! It seems very balanced to me in many ways. Like you have a very strong pop undercurrent, but it's not prescribed and repetetive as much pop is. Both the guitar and the keyboard work are fantastic performances! It's good to see you have a large following, because in another time this would have been on the radio for sure. I enjoyed listening very much!
Just like you, I appreciate the collaborations with Ed .... He has the gift of being able to integrate into the music that we propose, its peculiarity and the result is always very precise and very elaborate. The evidence here, while being of a great discretion, we feel his presence .... This is really great, and very pleasant to listen to. The big, very big "work" for this concept.
Thank you for sharing your talent.
Bonjour Dan...always nice to have you on my page.:)
Yeah,...I think all those collabs with Ed took me on entirely new level... With every collab I did with him I had a feeling that his music helped me alot to develop my own abilities even more. I'm afraid I will never be able to express my gratitude to him in a proper way. Word "thank you" is just not good enough when thinking of him...
This last collab was maybe a bit different than others, cause there were so many alternatives to explore from both sides. Just when we were about to finish and make the final decison together, Ed came into situation which resulted in obvious lack of time for him, so he left the final decision of how things should sound in the end entirely to me...so this was a moment of little uncertainty to me, but it is what it is and I'm glad you like it.:)
As always, thanks alot for your great and supportive coment.
Cool intro, reminds me a little of Pink Floyd. Now the guitar starts and in with the beat. Yeah man this is slow and funky.
Really good collaberation you've done here. The two styles mix really well. Ed's guitar and your piano make a splendid combination, the clarity is superb and you've hit this one out the park. I'm becoming quite a fan of yours Orlando.
FR
Well...that intro...while it's not among my best, it was still
just good enough to keep it in, and yeah, maybe it is a bit floydish. Overall it turned out quite nicely, although there were many other alternatives in question, but here is the version I decided on...so be it.:)
About becoming my fan...ughhh...this is almost scary thought to me...ofcourse it's nice to have that kind of following, but on the other hand it brings some kind of responsibility with it and sort of burden of pressure not to disappoint.:)
Anyways, many thanks again for your positive comment and support...
Pure, clean, music from your hearts and instruments...not too many of us could present feelings in such sincere way like you Orlando...
But if it wasn't an aim, Ed's guitar is at the back a bit...if it was, forget my description...:-)
It was...and it wasn't! We made a few different mixes of this piece and it's just too complicated to explain what was going on along the way. Ed wanted less guitar after I added a piano...I wanted more of it ofcourse...in the end this mix presented here is a kind of a compromise... We may decide to upload some other version in the future...we will see:)^^
Anyways, thx alot as always for your great and honest feedback...
With much appreciation_____Orlando

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

Ciao, orlando
the elements are so natural that it seems surreal.
the sound of the violin with the piano I would say is the big surprise in this song, sounds a lot nicer.
magical combination in the mix, and good skills with composition.
the intro reminds me a bit of the songs our friend "Mstokes" the.
3:38 there is a fantastic effect in the background.
and sax is another pleasant surprise in music, it takes a little jazz, blues.
and the end is exciting.
good job guys.
