I did this before I knew anything about interfaces, sequencers and controllers. It would probably sound different and more cluttered if I did it today having all they toys to play with. I like open mixes that can feature each instrument so I try to keep things simple.

I believe this was the second song I posted on the loop when I joined. Cool Edit Pro 2 has nothing on Ableton, hehe!

Hi again, Ed!
About that bass - I didn't even consciously notice the bass in songs before and didn't understand what all the fuss was about...you guys here talking about great basslines etc. etc.
And then I suddenly started to hear it too. (It's OK to laugh, it's both hilarious and embarrassing... =D)
So this is kind of a big musical revelation for me: The bass is what brings the music alive somehow...well, I haven't quite figured it out yet but I'm getting there.

In this case however, it's a very simple and amatourish bassline of course, I'm aware of that. Just celebrating my new knowledge by building a song around that bass which just happened to popp out in an other song where it didn't belong, that's all.

Key changes are a good idea, it's very flat and veeeeeery long, this song.
So some key changes and also just half a song could be my next move here.

Acoustic music has always been my favorite, whether it's Pete Seeger or Aerosmith unplugged, I just love the acoustic guitar!! The story behind writing it and it's name is a good personal humorous story.

I have the same feeling about other hiphop mixes that's why I decided to make something different, I mean it's indeed ok to have the sort of repetitive hiphop beats but when I listen to them I get annoyed after a while because they stay the same from start to end
