It was a pleasant listen, nice title, good vox, nice editing. Too bad it may contain adult language. I'm too old for this anymore, but when I was your age, it was the age of rock and roll, we thought the Animals, Them, the Zombies and the Troggs were far out and foreign to OUR parents. Now they seem so tame. Vic

Yes, you summarized this track nicely. I don't knowif I'll hum iit, but I like it. It is more bass than most trance tracks and seems more like dance to me< I could just picture a thousand reflections from a sinnin g mirror balll on the ceiing and couples vying for approval of their dance styles, a crowd ringing the dancers. I really like the saxophone's sound a lot. This is a real jam track. It sounds like from Superfly's time zone. Incidentally you make awesome loops and I have used a few. Thanks for sharig your talent with those of us not fortunate to have any. Vic

It makes me think of little furry creatures talking to me from a safe place. OOr these same creatures talking to other animals, proclaiming a new day.

Thanks VigWig. You get it! It's so funny how a song can just make you smile and feel good, even without lyrics. That's the power of music!

on Do It by TraXnCtrl
I see a busy marina where a guy fowl hooks (hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah)a duck, people come up now and then. I did do this once and it was a comical scene and I lost the duck with my hook, line and sinker. What a rip. Just like this song. I like the outro the most.

I'm digging it. With a few twists it could be Hoooked n Christmas. I like the beat and the hand claps, in that part I see Olivia Newton John getting physical with Patrick Swayze.

on Can You See My Pain - Joyfulwave Edit by bmw2000uk
Good mxing and good dance music but this is a subject for another genre, I think. It's s hard to convey pain in adance genre.Vocals are hard for me, I never get them right, that's why I make holes for them and it sounds kind of weird. Either that or I amp them up so I can hear them. This is a smooooooooth track.

Thanks for your review, when i started this project, i did not want to do a sad kinda song like a ballard, like most songs are. So i try to make it enjoyable to listen to. Guess i wanted to be different, coming from unexpected direction.
Updated, if u care to take anther listen. : )

on Ocean by DeadPixel
I agree with eshar, good music is good music and this is good music. Kind of reminds me of Link Wray type music. Ever listen to him? I like the guitar work, wish it had some gnarly vox (not offering, I'm far from gnarly)
DeadPixel
DeadPixel replied Unknown
thanks, and no, I've never heard of this Link Wray, but I will definitely look into him. And I'm not sure about vocals...I kinda like it without them lol

on needs more work by djzee86
Or just tone it down into background or mix up effects on it. Can't hearthe rest for ears focusing on piano. I suspect you were looking for a constant theme to showcase the rest. You might try some celllo r violin or orchestral loop. Try Minor2Go loops.

on Jack Your Body by TraXnCtrl
Nice concept. Kinda fast beat for me. Be careful you didn't use too much of Whip It. The female vocals are well matched. Don't know about the vox samples. To much wah wah on vox and too much repetition of same bits (I should talk!) More forceful vox of male. Heavier beat, but not much. Good concept.

on Never Again by Spivkurl
What can I say that hasn't been already said? This is really fun to listen to. It sounds like the Cleavers riding along at 60 in a convertible. Like music over a time delay scene of Julia Child working in a big kitchen with food being prepared and pots steaming lazily in the background. It woke me up. Vic

Like somebody siad, I just breezed in here off the cuff. You did this from a pkg of loops? Good job! I guess I'm late to the party again. I clicked on you because your avatar ooked like a record and I wanted to see what it said. Turned out it was a CD, but I listened to one of your tracks while I was here. Glad I did. vigwig

on Into The Light Feat Eshar by Salkizar
The music is trance setting sure enough. I can see some kaleidoscopic multi-colored lights "searching" the writhing bodies on a dance floor at a disco. Gals in metallic-looking sheaths apparently deep in thought of just how to move and willing their bodies to precision undulation. Almost undiscernable vocals streaming in and out of your conciousness. Personally, I would like "fuzzy" vocals that were cryptic enough but easier understood.

By the way, I am really impressed by your avatar.
Salkizar
Salkizar replied Unknown
Thx man for that visual review!!! As for the fuzzy vox I did mess with a lot of effects, but ..to get the vocals to cut through it took some major eq'ing and mixing...I did try getting them fuzzy but once the track was playing they kept disappearing behind the music. And just whackin the vol up wouldn't have worked so i am glad they are audible at least. Thanks again for the review and keep listening to my tunes. Thx!

Mack Sanders voice of gold, Slap Johnson digging a hole with a saxophone, Bilbozo masterminding the show,,,,,what more could you ask for? A lightning bolt out of the blues.

on Quazimodo by jfw
I can't believe I listened to this, sounded like Hill Street Blues to me, coupled with some lounge music and Mr. Lucky. I was expecting some guitar wailing, a pleasant surprise althugh I like wailing guitars (now I sound like lyrics to Greenback Dollar. It's hell having a mind that free flows from one thought to anoter different one). I like your avatar by the way, it gives soome evil to my vivid dreams..

on The Angels Were Smiling by johnnygadget
Everybody is going on about the crispness, the hamonica, the keyboard, the guitar work, the moodyness of the scene of love, the professional sound. Me, I just love your voice. You might say it is the true Voice of Gold. A little high on echo or something, it makes it hard for old ears like mine. Hard, but smoooooooooooooooooth.

on Zombie's a commin' by bcway
I guess I'm a little late to the party and I've already given the fish I caught away. Rats! BCWay, you're one of my idles and I do love your crazy tracks. I can't hold a candle to the images and feeliings you evoke with tracks like this one. It is complex in its use of instruments, sounds and moods created. I think I detected some DNA of mine on one of your keyboards or whatever you call that thing with knobs on it.

Hey hey hey !!! I've been away for a very long time. Mostly because I just didn't feel like it because of my face all bandaged up. And when I did try to do something, it sounded like what I had already done or it sound cheapo - ticked me off it did. All of this has nothing do do with our zombie friends. Anyhow, thank you for the review and I will drop in and abuse....err...i mean have a listen to your new tracks.
