This is way different from what I usually listen to. I reminds me of the soundtrack to "The Ipcress File". It is a good opener for an action-suspense film where it starts out with a rustic car driving along the freeway, crossing a bridge into New York with a pensive quintessential PI behind the wheel.

Lush guitar intro, promising drums delivering vox. This one is great. Guitar sound reminds me of Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress by the Hollies.

The rhythm guitar is fantastic, I wish I could string together such a pulsating sound like that. The other instruments complement the overall sensation, I had a couple of bedtime stories I made with a reel to reel tape deck back in 19 about 1970 with pots, pans, room divider, silverware, a referee's whistle and a tabletop. It had 1-7/8, 3-3/4 and 7-1/2 ips speeds which I used for the three little pigs and the wolf. I lifted some parts for some tracks I made in 2010-2011. vic

I was amazed at the luxurious feel to this. The vocalist delivered a plain yet sturdy, understated rendition of song, I can picture an unassuming young lady performing this as a solo in front of a church choir and receiving a standing ovation. Well done guy. Vic

well done. I am too old to have heard the originals of many songs so this one is a new one to me. I like how it slowly draws you in until it springs on you. Kind of like one of those traps where it's easy for the prey to get in but he can't get out because it can't figure out where it came in or is prevented from getting out from the ingeniousness of the design.

I agree with everything said here. It is a fine track! Good guitar work. I like what EpicRecords suggested. I try that often but haven't tried much 'stereo-izing.' Putting different right and left tracks. I usually try putting the same track in teice but putting them a little off-set. Sometimes I put different effects on each of them.

I'm with Philemonster, I had trouble understanding the lyrics and a few times they are low. That's the only thing that I felt like suggesting (it is a matter of taste and is only different, not bad). I liked the beat and the bridges where you say "Baby, you're hott"

For some reason I wanted to listen to some music to see what was goin' 'round. So I started with the tracks tab to find out how to look up songs in a specific genre and I came to this one at the top of song list that it brings up when you haven't specified anything. Imagine my surprise to see your name when I just came from the funny song thread. So I gave it a listen and it was really good, I like your voice and I liked the overall impression of a wacked out song. Vic

This a good track out of a ShortBus loop. You hit it right, ShortBus makes stupendous loops. SlapJohnson does too. This would make good bakground music to vox. Vic

Suicide is a tough subject, I know from personal experience since 2 of my 33 brothers successfully made it to the other side while I tried earnestly but didn't succeed except for being committed voluntarily to the looney bin for 6 weeks. . . silly me I tried to cover it with vacation days I had coming, but finally had to 'fess up. Now I had to endure there looks at me checking me if I am going to try it again. But I don't think so. I have experienced a rebirth and a respect for the feelings of my family members. But I wrote and talked a death query on behalf of a guy whose wife died suddenly. I played it for only him and withdrew it from posting. I intend to do a better job next time and re-post.

I am drawn to the smashing drums. I would like to hear you let it rip with your voice but sometimes people can ruin their sound by singing outside of their range. I have really struggled with my voice, trying to fx it so I can sound like I can sing (I can't). I am out of my assigned zone commenting on somebody so much better than I am. Well, I guess everything has been said. I love the high speed energy of the rack. I love the blender effect on the voice. I love the drum orgy going on at precise intervals(the ones that sound like tom toms. I used the same Proecliptix loop on a new track I made and uploaded today. Its name is "Just Want You" and I was suffering bad server connections I was unable to get a link for you.

You seem to run in the same crowd that I find myself in. I was attracted to your German accent and found this to be a nice little track. I can't understand German but it is distinctive. I would like you to sing a song of my lyrics in English with your accent. We'll need some music and I suggest some dance beat that pulsates. The words I have so far are "Rock and Roll Reiner" I will develop it more if you are interested.

That is right on the money. It needs a better ending though. Not just a fade out but something with cymbals and snares. Jazzy.
