Jack Your Body - TraXnCtrl

Name: Jack Your Body
Duration: 255 s
Channel: TraXnCtrl
Description: This track has been something I have wanted to do for a long time. I have taken a riff from a great 80s track and added additional bass, beats, a poppy synth, fx and some rave stabs to make one crazy track at about 157bpm. Also used some vox and female backing vow of Louise Coady. Let me know what you think. Trax Let me

This is the kind of electro that I like. Powerful, but not obnoxious. Your arrangement and production are perfect.

I'm sold. A definitive fav

Catchy track! I like the subtle arpeggios! The chopped up vocals are really cool! Good to hear a reversed cymbal in there! This is a fun song! Well done!

TraXnCtrl replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks Spivkurl...the reverse cymbals seemed to fit....I have reworked it a bit and will reload soon
Thanks for listening and reviewing

Nice concept. Kinda fast beat for me. Be careful you didn't use too much of Whip It. The female vocals are well matched. Don't know about the vox samples. To much wah wah on vox and too much repetition of same bits (I should talk!) More forceful vox of male. Heavier beat, but not much. Good concept.

Thanks Vic....I have been re-working it a bit and will have a clener version up in the next day or so
Cheers,
Trax

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.
