This is why Brother Mark is the "King". I don't think Mark has ever done anything that I didn't absolutely love and admire. For AlexBorvin (below), I believe Jazz is the musician's genre. It can be the most intricate and complex style of music. I've known many musicians in my over 50 years of production. The vast majority don't believe they have mastered their craft until they can competently play Jazz. Mark "The King" has a deep connection. You are hearing masterful Jazz. Thanks for sharing this with us. Cosmo
Brother Cosmo greetings and salutations. Thank you for this visit. The feedback and compliments are received graciously. There is still some ground to cover but we're getting there. I dropped you an e-mail. Keep Mrs. V laughing.
When I was growing up in America, there was a very popular TV show called, "American Bandstand". They would play a new record then ask one the audience members what they thought. The answer was always the same, "I like the beat and it's easy to dance to." Well, it applies here. And the production quality is excellent. I've had good luck using acapellas also. I like your track so much I have played multiple times. I appreciate you commenting on my jazz track also. Take care and wishing you a good life, Cosmo
Hey Cosmo, comments like this keep me creating music for the love of it. Its always great to know Im not the only one vibing to my tracks. Hearing that they have replay value is especially encouraging, since thats not easy to pull off these days. As for the jazz track, I genuinely enjoyed it. Believe it or not, I listen to jazz more than any other genre I produce, and yours gave me that relaxing vibe I always seek in jazz. Thanks again for listening and for your encouraging feedback. Cheers!
Hi dimestop, been awhile. I don't know about a difference but this sounds good. I've been working on a jazz album and not listening to Looperman tracks for awhile. It's good to hear your music again. Take care, Cosmo
thanks Cosmo i appreciate you stopping off, i had a big upgrade of my hardware, the difference is recognizable to myself and others that have known me for years the sound is more dynamic but the fact you enjoyed it is all that really matters to me,
i hope that people enjoy their listen as its these people that have guided me, our people are good people that have helped me grow with feedback and advice,
i look forward to you bringing the Jazz, MT (Mark) brings it often and its always great music, thanks again for the listen and coment,
I also love a hat too my friend, i have about 15 from trilibys to straw bowlers, flat caps and i love my purple pork pie hat lol, best Regards Paul.
Kayos2, who counted the doves? You sure there are not 8,000,000,001 doves? Love the track. Love the vocal. Love the thought behind the lyrics. World Peace would be nice. Great to hear your music again. Peace, love and happiness, Cosmo
First time listener. I used to call this genre heavy metal. I don't listen to it much or hardly ever. That said, I can still appreciate the production quality and arrangement. Lots and lots of energy. Good vocal. Good mix. Thanks for posting your tracks. Best wishes, Cosmo
Bullitt, first time I've heard your music. It has a great feel to it. I agree with the comments about it having a cinematic touch, that's good. I never know what genre to put my tracks in unless it's jazz (I know what jazz is). I created a track I thought was Reggae. My wife told me she listened to Reggae for years and my track sounded nothing like Reggae. Ok, it is Reggaeton? What the ##### is Reggaeton if not like Reggae. Back to your track. Keep posting more. I enjoyed it. Take care, Cosmo
Hi Cosmo, glad you liked the track and thanks for leaving some feedback, it's always appreciated. Yeah, I'm never sure when it comes to picking a genre. I was gonna put it under Cinematic, probably should have as most people have said it has a Cinematic feel to it. It's all music at the end of the day, which is the important thing. Thanks again.
People, it's THE SQUADD. They are totally MODD. The guys with the BODDS (I assume, no personal knowledge). Not one of them named TODD. Who said Cosmo can't rap. You guys are great. I love the track. I played it multiple times. All hail the SQUADD! Greetings, Cosmo
Hey Cosmo, glad to hear from you, man! That was a hilarious rhyme, we definitely dont have bods (well, Rob does, the #####) unless dad bods count? Lol. Thanks for listening and for the support, dude!
I really like the atmosphere you created. The guitar track fits really well. Let's hope we don't have to go to a hole in the ground. Nice track, Cosmo.
Greetings Cosmo, yeah it's a ##### show tragi-comedy at the moment eh? I know that withdrawing isn't the answer but sometimes.......All the best, Chris.
How could anyone not move to this one. Even my dogs were dancing around. You keep getting better and better Mark. This is brilliant brother. You set the standard for Jazz Fusion and now Funk. You got the FUNK!!!! Cosmo
Cosmo! The Man with the master plan! Its a great thing for your stop and critique. Its good for the doggies too LOL! Youve been busy? Me too. I see you uploaded some saxodelicious! I gotta check it out in a bit. TTYL.
Brother Mark, just saw this now. First impression is how clear and well mixed is the track. I always love everything you create and this track impresses. You are the master of transitions. My all-time favorite jazz fusion artist. Every jazz fan you check out your channel here. Perfection. Cosmo
adamms, when I was much younger, I used to watch your family on TV. Odd how music from Mars sounds a lot like Earth music. "I like the beat and it's easy to dance to." RIP ##### Clark. Cosmo
Aaron, boy Rita's voice has gotten a lot lower and more ghetto (kidding). Seriously, the quality of the vocals in this track is excellent. I wish I could get mine to sound that good. I've read your emails. If you not going post the next Rita vocals on LM, yes please send them to me. I look forward to hearing them. Great job on this track. Cosmo
Haha nah, I havent finalized the mix yet on the next one featuring Rita, and more vocals are being recorded for the other one. I did figure Id be done before the end of the weekend, but we fast tracked "Splatterhouse" first. She's really great on both songs tho, as always. I appreciate your comment and your time, man. The vocals from this one come from a song me and some of the guys used to listen to back in the day, and since they asked me to do a throwback, i picked this one, and they loved it.
Mark (kingm77) and I are of similar age (me just a few years older). Mark did not have a brother growing up nor did I. We have similar interests and goals. So, we decided to be brothers. No not, "Hey bro, what's up". The brother we never had. That said, I haven't been on LM for a couple of weeks. I didn't see this posted until today. I am the worse critic because I am amazed by everything you produce. I am a true jazz/fusion fan. Talk to you soon. Take care brother, Cosmo
Cosmo! Greetings. Im glad you got the the opportunity for this listen. The compliments are received humbly. Ill be checking your latest creation shortly.
There they are, my favorite Squadd. Whenever you need a good "head bangin", they're on the job. I like the "reformed" sound. Keep it up. Salutations, Cosmo
Hey, Cosmo! Glad to hear from you, man. I think the group's sound has evolved and really found its footing during the work we've done on this project. We're going to offer most of the songs fron that and from Pnnywze's and Cyberflares' project The Loserz Club to everyone in the community as a free download when they're finished, they're both releasing at the same time so we could bundle them together. We love doing what we do and we appreciate the support very much
BaoBou, I love hearing "real" music on LM especially when this well done. Great track. And if the TheMonzderSquadd likes it, I know I will too. I just posted a track I think you will enjoy with real flugelhorn performed by UK's elite studio musician Ben Edwards. I would be honored if you would take a listen. Here's the link: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/261398/
Thanx Cosmo.Yes its my new Microphone.
I'm still getting used to it. I have a soft voice and the microphone is quite muffled, so I need to learn how to master that.
Original. I like the atmosphere. See my profile pick. My wife and I got married in Virginia City, Nevada in the 1800's Courthouse. All the guests wore western wear. Too bad we didn't have "Western Spaghetti" to play at the reception. You brought back memories. Thanks Zootman. Cosmo
Hey. Thanks, this made me chuckle. Pretty impressive resume on your profile. I laughed outright at the In My Other Life statement. Mexico eh? Always wanted to go there, partly for the surf but also the culture. Been to South America though which was pretty cool. Anyway, thanks for the listen etc. Cheers Zoot.
Thanks a lot, sir. Im glad you enjoyed how everything was arranged; I had a great time putting it together too. Im happy it ended up enjoyable.
Much respect, N!
Rita, I'm not big on AI (artificial intelligence) but there is something I just checked out for you and looks promising. If nothing else, it might be a lot of fun. Suno is an AI music generator. You can tell it you want a bluesy song and input the lyrics and also sing I'm pretty sure (I haven't used it). It then generates a very professional sounding track using your voice (I'm pretty sure). They have a "Basic" plan that is free but limited to try it out. Search on YouTube for videos on "Suno". I'm sure they are out there if you are interested. I hope you are, because I would enjoy hearing the result. Take care, Cosmo
suno.com
Thanx Cosmo.
Since 2 months i use Suno for music. The beat from this song is also suno.
I pay 10 euro in a month and i can use the music also on spotify because i have some rights.
But thank you for thinking of me and taking the time.
Rita as you asked, I listened to the last three tracks (the first 3 you posted) and commented. So, jump to the bottom if you want to read my comments. Stay beautiful, Cosmo
Rita as promised I listened to this one, Loner and Ghost that follow. First you shouldn't care what I think. Just believe in yourself. You have a distinct style that shines through. This track wasn't my favorite. However, the next two got raves. So, continue on. Cosmo
Thank you so much,I appreciate listening and commenting.
I wanted to make a video for this one but i didd have a accident and rehabilitation will take me 2 years and I wonder if it will turn out well
LJmbbremen, yeah I like it. A completely different approach than I took. If you want to compare, go to SoundCloud, search "Cosmo and Friends" the profile picture is of my wife and me. Scroll down to "Shadows in Motion". Odarka should be very pleased with both of us. Good track, Cosmo
Hi Cosmo,
I tried to listen to it, but I need an account. I don't want a SoundCloud profile because there are too many ads.
Thank you for your time.
