Rob, I guess I really like weird. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was picked up as a sync track for some video or movie track. You know a guy walks into a bar on the planet Sonaris and there are the alien women with antennae sticking out of the top of their heads dancing seductively. Brother Mark, a much softer track than the traditional funk. I love it! The piano is outstanding. The strings add a new dimension. Thought provoking and sensitive. Love the original ending. This is why Brother Mark is the "King". I don't think Mark has ever done anything that I didn't absolutely love and admire. For AlexBorvin (below), I believe Jazz is the musician's genre. It can be the most intricate and complex style of music. I've known many musicians in my over 50 years of production. The vast majority don't believe they have mastered their craft until they can competently play Jazz. Mark "The King" has a deep connection. You are hearing masterful Jazz. When I was growing up in America, there was a very popular TV show called, "American Bandstand". They would play a new record then ask one the audience members what they thought. The answer was always the same, "I like the beat and it's easy to dance to." Well, it applies here. And the production quality is excellent. I've had good luck using acapellas also. Hey Cosmo, comments like this keep me creating music for the love of it. Its always great to know Im not the only one vibing to my tracks. Hearing that they have replay value is especially encouraging, since thats not easy to pull off these days. As for the jazz track, I genuinely enjoyed it. Believe it or not, I listen to jazz more than any other genre I produce, and yours gave me that relaxing vibe I always seek in jazz. Thanks again for listening and for your encouraging feedback. thanks Cosmo i appreciate you stopping off, i had a big upgrade of my hardware, the difference is recognizable to myself and others that have known me for years the sound is more dynamic but the fact you enjoyed it is all that really matters to me,
i hope that people enjoy their listen as its these people that have guided me, our people are good people that have helped me grow with feedback and advice,

Haha nah, I havent finalized the mix yet on the next one featuring Rita, and more vocals are being recorded for the other one. I did figure Id be done before the end of the weekend, but we fast tracked "Splatterhouse" first. She's really great on both songs tho, as always. I appreciate your comment and your time, man. The vocals from this one come from a song me and some of the guys used to listen to back in the day, and since they asked me to do a throwback, i picked this one, and they loved it.

Mark (kingm77) and I are of similar age (me just a few years older). Mark did not have a brother growing up nor did I. We have similar interests and goals. So, we decided to be brothers.
