Listen To A Quantum Theory Jazz Song By Kingmt77 | Looperman

Description : With this Jazz Composition, I've taken on the task of playing EVERYTHING through VST's. No loops and absolutely NO AI! Guitarist Mike Stern is by far my favorite. My guitar attempt is inspired by Mike and I played that part through Kontakt 8. For all of the other instruments I just went with the flow. Check it out, let me know if it's good. Enjoy!

Description : "Oh no - not jazz metal! You're not supposed to mix those genres together." Yes, but someone's got to and the musical gods have chosen me for the difficult task. 9 mins of instrumental jazz metal - damn I sure know how to write a hit song - US No 1 here I come. Anyway - there's some dark, swinging groovy jazz, with Rhodes and guitar as the main instruments, for a few minutes and then some haunting, thumping evil breaks loose. Look out for the powerful synth horn sound. And then it just gets heavier and heavier before returning to some nice chillgroove funky mystery jazz. Instruments played and/or programmed: electric guitar, bass guitar, electric cello, multiple programmed acoustic drumkits, filtered strings, Rhodes, big synth bass, evil synth horn and a few other assorted synths. I assume this has too much jazz for metallers and too much metal for jazzers. So, only for weirdoes like me who enjoy both. This will surely be too odd for most people but I like to think it's pretty interesting and powerful. Let me know how its weirdness worked for you...

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.

=============
A nice little jam - I don't seem to find the time and calmness to write lyrics, so let's stick with Instrumentals.
Oh and... no AI in any phase of the creation. Written, played, mixed & mastered by yours truly - I'd rather have my mistakes than AI misuse.
Oh and if you're in a hurry... don't miss my favourite bit which is around 1:40 :D

I'm not even sure if it makes sense to write you a few lines here, because I'm afraid I'll just be repeating myself. But honestly, I just have to say it again: This is another fantastic piece of work.
Your clear structures and your unique way of arranging the instruments so that you can almost see the musicians in front of you simply incredible. Truly impressive. It's a real listening experience, and you've mastered the challenge you set for yourself with flying colors.
Warm regards, Manuela
Stay tuned,

However:
I have to say that at the beginning of the track, I immediately felt that the snare drum had way too much reverb.
I also think that the flute, which has a very prominent part in the middle, sounds a bit unbalanced ... kind of muffled.
Please don't misunderstand me... I'm worlds away from this kind of production, and my impressions are of course competely subjective, but you wanted to know what stands out. So here are my little comments, with the utmost respect.
Best regards,
Micky
For example that snare you mentioned. I did the drum mix on Ableton 11. Then I flattened the drum mix and It sat on a drive for a few months. In comes Ableton 12 and I cant load the project. So Im stuck with a drum mix thats kinda too reverby. Just a couple of hours ago I deverbed the snare then LP the whole kit. The flute has been harmonized and Im going to make some adjustments with that.
Ill be uploading an update later today. Thanks for the sharp lookout. It aint right till its right!

What an amazing composition, with magical moments from every instrument in the band. The articulations and harmonies were used perfectly, resulting in a song of exceptional quality. No single instrument stood out alone, each played its part beautifully...the electric piano chords and rhythm, the bass lines, the enchanting flute, and the compelling drums, all so well performed and blended together. My compliments and admiration.
Best wishes, Anthony

Well, that must be due to the curved timeline of relativity.

Once again, a wonderful example of what's possible in free jazz. I imagine you poured your heart and soul into the meticulous work on this piece.
The title immediately piqued my curiosity about the concept behind it. For me, "quanta" have always been part of physics, and physics is closely linked to mathematics. The combination of the two leads to constant mathematical leaps.
Some might say that this piece contains more irregularity than regularity. However, I would counter that regularity doesn't necessarily mean short, repetitive rhythmic patterns. A sense of order can also arise, for example, in a 250-bar cycle or even in its subdivisions. So, what initially appears irregular can turn out to be a deeper, hidden form of repetition. Are you still with me?
Mark, in short: Your work is incomparable and unique. I love it.
Warm regards and good night, at least here in Germany!
