Another cracking track ( I prefer this to the first ). This puts me in mind of the likes of Vinnie Moore ( mind's Eye album ) and Tony MacAlpines stuff in the 80's - great work.
Nice track rick. No prizes for guessing you are a fan of the likes of Vai, Satriani etc. Really nicely recorded epic rock track with chops to spare - Great work.
This one sounds very "Organic" probably down to the analogue tape. My first Portstudio was a Tascam Porta One back in the 80's - great machine. Nice to hear something created the "old" way. PUT YOUR HANDS UP - WE HAVE THE BUILDING SURROUNDED. - Nice one.
I think I've said this about one of your other tracks but this just seems to be crying out for a vocal or something like a sax line ( Slap Johnson springs to mind ) but I dont know if that kind of thing would be your bag. Anyway, good stuff.
Nice track. It's fairly remeniscent of santana in the choice of scale used, the guitar sound you've chosen and possibly some of the licks used. I think what differentiates all guitarists, ( and this is a good thing, because it makes us all unique )is the multitude of expressive elements that come into play with a stringed instrument. String bending, legato, vibrato, grace notes, phrasing etc. Love the guitar tone and the conga's are recorded superbly.
Hey thanks for listening, I appreciate it. You obviously have some good taste, as your avatar is from what I believe to be one of the greatest albums of all time. Nice! Thanks, Six
The difference is subtle, but I think it's better with the extra treatments. I think the volume on the bass could come up a little, it's a little buried in the mix and its such a great hook of a bass line. This track just gets better with listening - sure sign of a great track.
I'm glad that you like the changes that I've made. Thanks for the suggestion about the bass, maybe I need to balance things out a bit. Thanks for your help!
Some nice chords here - could be the basis for something good. Maybe you could try Holly or Gizella for some vocal loops or a collaboration. The casio doesnt sound too bad either.
Great to hear an old recording of this sort, a real time-in- place piece. Lovely old warmth that analogue tape imparts replete with the not so desirable hiss. I really like the chord changes in this one, very Beatlesque - great stuff.
You seem to be attracting a lot of "Unknown user" listeners. Do you suppose they might be "shy"? Anyway, I liked this piece, a lovely little sounds of childhood montage. I loved the ice cream van and the frog croaking. Nice bit of piano ( boogie-woogie) and harmonica to finish. Good work.

You are so right about Satch and Vai.
I only hope to be a fraction as talented as they are. I'll keep practicing.
