Beautiful intro the piece, very nice vocal loving it, suits so well this sound of the mix and feel, great choice, totally loving the vibe and feelings coming from this piece, feel like I know this vocalist, voice seems to ring a bell but cant quite pick who is singing..who's doing the vocals??? Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Nice work with the vocals, worked well into the very nice mix by Dusthill, would have been interested to see what it sounded without the autotune, either way liking the piece, vocal sounds like rhianna...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Really liking this, as it is very different then what I hear when leaving reviews, no idea...But you have done a very good work I the arrangement of this piece, which wouldn't have been easy, great use of the vocals, everything works well in the mix credit to you...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
well I am always aiming to make different sounding tracks.
and it was indeed a pain in the rear with the vocals indeed,,
haha I've redone this song like 3 times from back to finish before I finally got what I wanted.
Nice feel about this piece, don't really know why but it just grabs you, making you want to listen to the piece, love the space you have left in the track mate...No complaints at all, just respect for pulling this type of track off so well.. Everything from this end sounds spot on...Fav...Peace n Respect....Mosaic...magical work....
Thanks a lot for your nice words. I probably have missed a few of your latest productions (but I will listen to them soon!).
I am happy you liked the space on the track - I always try to keep some amount of air and usually my mixes are quite different from the other stuff posted here (also regarding to instrumentation).
This piece is simply the result of playing with new synth Roland Juno Di. I am still looking forward to create more music like this (but simply lack of time). Maybe later this summer...
There's a place for vocals/spoken words even (I will add them soon).
Thank you again for kind review and adding this one to your favourites. It is appreciated.
Very nice work on this one, waiting for the weird part to come in but nothing weird about this track in anyway, absolutely love the way you have mixed this track, very creative, genre wise would think fusion maybe new age, but very good work so far...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mos...
Nice work, interesting listen for the listener, again notice you have this one under chill out genre, again don't think it is the genre for this track like with the other I reviewed, picked up a lot of samples/loops here I have in my library so it was great to hear what someone else has done with them, liking it a lot, one thing have notice reviewing this one and your older track that I reviewed earlier, is the growth in your works, which is great to see...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mos...
Notice you have this one under chill out, to me has a very enjoyable industrial sound coming from it for me more so then chill out, apart from that the mix sounds great, all elements working together very nice, nice work, just realised this one is a oldy but goody so will head to hear one of your newer ones...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Thought would check this one out for you as my genre is trance, ok first I am really liking what I am hearing BUT it isn't trance, genre wise really don't know but not trance...Ok 2 listen now...First thing that strikes me is the tempo, very slow, don't know what tempo you are doing the piece, but trance would be normally anywhere from 128bpm up, Dub wooble doesn't help give trance feel either to the piece, the droning sound that comes in from start a little high needs to be softer into the mix, if you could add good kick/trance beat that would move the piece along with a good solid trance bass or bass's, lifting the tempo you would get the more trance drive and feel you are after...Have plenty of trance track examples up on my profile if you want to hear what I am saying...Either way whatever genre this belongs in, it was a very impressive effort with the thinking you have used in the arrangement, really enjoyed the couple listens to it...Fav...Peace n Respect Mos...
Mate what brilliant sounding piece, right from the very start you had me here, very nice synths, working so well with the great guitar work and beat, massive piece mate, rarely download tracks from site but if this one was downloadable, it would be a must...One of the better tracks if not the best track heard since my return...Respect...Fav...Peace Mosaic....
I'm very pleased you like the new track. Thank you for the kind words. Always good to hear your thoughts.
The strings and piano at the end was a few good/frustrating hours. Even though it's frustrating at the time, I look back and realize I was really having fun.
When I finish a track, I get a bit depressed, because I don't work on multiple tracks at a time, and hate when something is contrived, so I kinda feel like I'm only as good as what I'm working on at that moment.
When I got nothin', I feel it. When I write something I really like, I'm in the best mood ever. It's one of the few things I've found that makes me happy since I quit smoking cigarettes over a year ago. It caused a serious chemical change in my system. Dopamine is no longer supplied so I lose focus, get anxiety and other crap I'm not too big on. I've learned to recognize the things that make me happy and appreciate them more.
Very different sound then what I normally would listen too, but have to say this is impressive, mix is brilliant the way you have used the vocals, has its different levels in the mix to keep it very interesting, along with the instrumental for the listener, thought a little distortion earlier on in the piece, prob only slight downer for a very interesting track, maybe that is what you wanted for the piece, but made the first part of the track little hard on the ears, comes in at the 24 seconds, guessing stands out a little there more so then the rest of the track, as the track is still building to the other elements come in, personally I wouldn't have that part/element in the track, but maybe that's just me, will be interesting to see if anyone agrees with my thoughts on it, it would give it a much cleaner sound, but still keeping with the weird genre, and be easier on the listeners ear...Just a thought...overall loved what I heard...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mos...
I tried to figure out exactly what u meant with the distortion at 0:24, but sadly i couldn't find out what kind of sound you actually meant :(
I'd love to fix what you were talking about though.
Thought been to check this one out but no, liking the groovy funk coming from piece, Patricia's vocals brilliant as always, mate you have combined the instrumental and vocals very well, like they always meant to be together, so catchy this piece, you can not help but move your feet to it, excellent matey...Massive fav...Peace n much Respect...Mosaic...
As I said earlier in another review for someone with a break beat track haven't heard or know to much about genre, so can not give fine detail review sorry, only can say this has a very infectious feel about it, which to me is a good sign of a decent track, so have to go on what I know about music when doing it, and say there doesn't seem to be anything out of place, so good work...fv...Peace n Respect...Mosaic....
Very nice attempt here, better then my first attempt I would say so thumbs up for that, nice DnB beat, slightly missing bass, but loving the synths you have used, short but a enjoyable listen...Fv...Peace n Respect matey...Mosaic...
Mate very impressive work here, great use of the Pella, I have them here, but haven't found anything to use them in yet, do have one close to sounding okies, but will see if good enough to put up, clarity and arrangement is spot on my friend, something I expect from you, with the talent you have...brilliant work man...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Not heard much break beat but liking what I'm hearing here, yep has a big touch of trance vibe there too lol, which of course you know I will enjoy, being a trancer, neat arrangement my friend, totally enjoying the listen of this one, to me I keep waiting for a vocals to come in, sort feels like there is space in the mix for vocals?...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Friend, great attempted at the DnB genre, like the way you have used the vocals in mix, to me has a club/rave sound about it especially with the vocals you have used...everything sounding good from my end, nothing standing out that shouldn't be there...good work...fav...Peace n Respect dude...Mosaic...
you are right this does have a fun happy vibe coming from it, the intro reminded me of the popcorn song at first, very uplifting when gated pad/synth comes it, nice drop to popcorn sound again then very nice build back into the piece, some parts seem little out as you said maybe they could, but part of me thinks that is what helps the track with the sound and feel...Very nice work matey...Fv...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
very impressive chill out piece but with a nice housey sound coming out as well, clarity sounds so good coming out of the laptop speakers which is a great sign everything is in order and where it should be... as said impressive piece, can not fault anything in any way, I would go to say one my all time fav tracks of yours, as you know I love what you do but this one has something real special about it my friend...Massive fav from me here on this one...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Thanx friend, bit relaxed one this time...I made that opening synth for the loop section but I had some inspiration from it...:-)
Always good to read your lines, specially with your fav, it's a big thank you!!!
Mate I can not understand French which I am guessing vocals are, but either way makes it a very enjoyable listen, instrumental brilliant...Very impressive track, will see if my sister in law will come on and listen as she is French, hopefully she will enjoy as much as myself...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
This piece definitely has your sound and style over it, this is the type of sound that got me to your profile those many years ago, as it is something you do not hear from anyone on here, (unique in a good way lol) so it is always refreshing to hear your different sound, this has a very nice flow to it, sounding great through the laptop mate, very nice arrangement and use of the vocals, not sure if this does need anymore vocals then what's here already, as suggested by couple others...Very excited mate to be coming here to review, have many tracks here since I have been away review...Happy days....FAV...Peace n Respect mate...Mosaic...PS massive thank you for your help you have been giving me my friend...
Hey Mosaic, thank you for giving this one a listen! I always appreciate you feedback. While I did hear your idea that maybe this didn't need vocals, I went ahead and redid the whole track. It was difficult, and not exactly always fun, but it's done... I've started to realize that many if not most of the tracks which I released over the years should have been sketches, and a lot more time should have been put into them. That's life I guess. Apologies for taking so long to reply, was working hard on this song, as well as some electronics and gardening. I hope you can find the time to give me your opinion on the update of this song. No problem about the help I give, as it is my pleasure, and I consider you a friend. Thank you!
Man so sorry for not getting to check your works, health not been good...So haven't been here very much...Disco alright, really reminds me of the 70s, keep waiting for Donna Summer to start singing lol...Always impressed with your tunes, and this one right up there...nothing to fault here friend...Very enjoy listen...FAV...Peace n Respect Mos...
Hey Mos
I'm sorry to hear you were in ill health, I hope you are doing better. This is disco with a sinister Post Punk Edge. I'm glad you stopped bye.
All the best Mate.
Steve
Mate first track reviewed since time off due to poor health, mate what a way to get back into listening to great tunes here on the loop...
Love the intro to this one, sets you up very nicely for the rest of the track, as piano is one of my fav elements to use in tracks, was a very pleasant surprise to see you using here, knew then was totally going to love track, which I do, easy listening type of rock which I enjoy...Could really see a Irish Celtic vocal over this, would be massive, piece has a Celtic sound to me...Excellent work on this one matey...FAV...Peace n Respect...Mos...
I hope you are doing ok. I'm not going to pry into the issues, I just know that health issues are scary as hell and they make you look at life very differently. I hope you are alright.
Thanks for the track appreciation! I enjoyed this one. This one sounds a bit Celtic, you say? I did one that apparently sounded Asian a few weeks ago, now I'm heading back to where I came from.
Like the sound of your mix, but mate do you have permission to upload this track onto the loop, full permission needed to upload here, apart from that sounds okies...Peace Mos...
Havent heard to much folk music here on site, but this is great, wouldn't expect anything less, with yourself and Ed, great clarity, very nice laid back beat, very nice chill type of guitar and piano, flowing nicely with the pads used, track has a very catchy groovy vibe, most have beaten me to give you more feed back mate, all I can say totally loving the track, Fav'd...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
