Just bloody marvellous Steve. I guess you have the touch of Magix mastered.
I like how the separate instruments have there own space to speak to the listener. And truly a great bassline to hold everything together and to keep the track in momentum until it fades away.
Where ye shall lay, there ye shall call home!
You lead the way brother. Jah bless. - Billy.

Love that bass line. it's restrained and yet effective. Al the nice synths are great ecoutrements. but the bass line grounds this tune. Sort of ethereal oboe like synth sounds nice and gives this such a otherworldly feel. Great work Steve!

Hey Steve, I have to mirror the others....this is thoughtful, well planned and even better executed. Absolutely beautiful and something the listener can get lost in. Fantastic work as usual. I hope all is well.

There are a few artists around the Loop that I listen to from a learning/education/ideas point of view...and you are one of them Steve...like how to creat the whole vibe with minimal instrumentation..sounds that seem to melt together like they were always meant to be together...a simple progression that has no need be any fanvier or more complex...with those break moments that pause before sailing on to whats next...I think I have been able to clutter my own tracks a bit less lately...but its good to be reminded again...enjoyed this one big time...great job....Ed

Ed if i could play an instrument i think my tracks would end up cluttered too, its just some times little is more.

Glad you liked and i hope to hear some more of your tracks too mate :)

This is fine work. Was it made using that Magix software?

I like that organ/pad intro. Great tone.

And then cool bass and drums kick in. Can't go wrong with them!

0:48 we get some lead stabs that work well. Not spectacular but effective.

1:12 high synth with great movement is more spectacular.

1:37 another great (legato) part joins in. You're keeping this one moving along nicely with the additions. And then you drop out the bass, which also works fine. 2:25 bring it back in.

Kind of simple, cool stuff that many more people will enjoy.

Are you playing any of these parts or is all just samples?

No real production suggestions from me. Which means I think this is very good.

I can't play any instruments :( these are all magix samples mate. WOW if i could play an instrument this would be so much easier to do :)

Description : At last I found some time to create something I'd never done before. I made up my mind to mash up tracks by some artists from Looperman and here it is!
Tracks and samples used:
JAI26 - "LM Jam"
PaperKup - "Going"
Pnnywze - synths and drums
Piano, some percussion, VOX chops, arrangement, FX, mixing and mastering by me.
Huge credit goes to JAI26, PaperKup, and Pnnywze for their awesome original tracks and great playing that came together perfectly!
