hi mate, nice work here. As good as Ive heard today. Nice and laid back just chugging along, no stress and easy on the ears. It looks looks like 8 other people liked it too, pity they couldnt bring themselves to comment. Well done anyway and keep up the good work. SP

Nice sound here my friend, gets going around 1:05 then back to chillout. I think it would sound equally as good as an ambient chillout type track!? Anyways well done.

Hey man, I love ambient :D
I always try to put a hint of it in my tracks,
my older songs of the previous acerbus album are more ambient orientated.
Thanks for the comment!

on The Experiment - Featuring Siri by Ep5ilon
Ha ha kudos to you mate, I wouldn't have listened to 'Trap' normally but this is class, you have used the vox with perfection! Excellent work my friend, I can see this really taking off!
Ep5ilon
Ep5ilon replied 24th Jun 2015 - 10 years ago
Thanks smallpaul. Trap isn't even my main genre (that's why it's called 'The Experiment'). The vocals were a bit tricky to begin with, but there's nothing like a bit of reverse reverb and some echo to top it off. :)

on This Could Be Love-Tropical Remix by 15ludwicke
Hi mate lovely track/mix, well produced and sounding really sweet. I take your point about the sax, but the only way around it would be to have someone do a live piece or a specially recorded part. I think its fine for the track as it stands though.
15ludwicke
15ludwicke replied 25th May 2015 - 10 years ago
Hey paul,
Thanks for the critique! I think I'm actually going to just keep the sax in here for now, everyone seems to like it, but a live recording actually would be really really nice. Maybe one day! haha

on Breathe Instrumental by 15ludwicke
Hi mate, beautiful track here, I would agree with some of the earlier comments though about the Dubstep beat. If you could change the snare to a rim shot or a less aggressive compressed snare then I think it would sound better, personally speaking of course, other than that its a fantastic track!!

on Full Moon---remix by zappo
You can never have too much funk! I'm loving this funky little number. Would have liked a bit more info though if poss? How and when was it recorded? It has a massive sound but it doesnt come across like it should, and looses a bit of its power, dont get me wrong I think its a great track but the quality lets it down. (just a personal opinion)

Quality mix mate, bouncy and tuneful as ever! 5:08 gets really prog house and is the stand out part for me!

Thanks man. I like that second track as well but when I played it back on my sound system it sounded to quiet. I think I need to revisit it and boost the levels on that part. Cheers as always for checking out this latest helping of custard.

on Ibiza Chillout Deep House Track by Apieceoftofu
Hi mate, this is a really great sound here. There are some nice deep house sounds, however the lead seems to dominate the track giving it a different feel to deep house. The production sounds spot on though.
Apieceoftofu
Apieceoftofu replied 28th Oct 2014 - 11 years ago
Yea its actually pretty hard to determine a good genre to classify this as. Kindof deep, kindof chillout, kindof trancey. Idk. Thanks for the comment.

on Sunset In Santorini Island EazyBeatzEdit by EazyBeatz
Hi mate great track, I would just like to say that the drums (snare) seem to dominate the track which is unfortunate as it sounds really great. I hope this is useful to you. As I said the track itself sounds amazing.

on Hard Dance MIx by FreeRadical
Aciiiid! At bit edgier here and reminds me of the early days, before hard house! A more tech house feel with acid in the mix. Starts off really well with the first track (obviously!) and then the mix goes a bit quieter for track two. Yes track 1 and 3 are the stand out tracks. Quality as ever!

I actually thought track 2 was the best one but there you go. I'd tried posting a different version but it had a glitch in it that i couldn't get rid of so i basically rewrote the whole track. I only spent about six or seven hours on it so it probably could use a little touching up. Cheers for dropping in and commenting.

on We Find Our Way by brillbilly
Hi mate what a lovely sound you have here, the piano and the pads compliment each other perfectly. Then we have strings lovely sound. Nice bass line to. Perfect and well produced, if I can make a suggestion on a personal note I would have liked to hear the intro played out at the end again, only because I liked it so much.

Dont know how you keep it up mate but another great mix. As Techno as it gets but listen-able Techno not really into that banging hardcore stuff! Class mix as usual.
FreeRadical
FreeRadical replied 12th Jul 2014 - 11 years ago
Too much time on my hands is how i keep up. I just had to adjust the bass on the first part as it was in the wrong key. Headphones are a pain in the arse.
Cheers for dropping in and giving your support as usual.
