Oh wow... about drums, you're not the only argueing upfront or strenght... well, first edit had "phantom weight", then i add a stronger and deeper kick on the original "real" drum... i listen final result with the i-phone earphones, which has the best quality audio... and, despite you warn that they are not very powerful, in that earphones sounds a tiny tiny distortion.... About attack, i try to get the kick early but the result was not consistent with the original idea I had in mind... anyway, i'm glad you like it,
for me it means that I managed to convey the positive sensations I felt during the composition!

The world definitely needs some new genres. I dread scrolling through the list and having to pick one; my stuff never seems to fit anywhere, and hey maybe that's the problem. The absolutely hilarious thing is that I never ever thought I was doing something scary. But now that I listen back to it, it's like, Duh. So you gave me insight into my own work, my friend. Maybe that's why I have a hard time with genre - I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Oh well, it's still fun. Thank you for your kind comments. The one about the production makes me happy cuz I always struggle with Audacity to get the mix right, tweak after tweak. Sorry about the nightmares!

Thanks, Paul. Definitely some Devo in there I think. Not so sure about Super Mario! :) Was kind of fun to create this track, testing out different "characters" for the vocals. I can't sing worth a damn, unlike you. But, I keep thinking that there must be some character voice that will be passable. I've been playing around with combining a vocoder track doubled with a heavily processed straight vocal track, plus auto-tune to mitigate the worst instances of my inability to keep any note on pitch. Still trying to find the magic combination. Would be better I think to just find some good vocalists to collab with. :).
